When Ronald handed her the contract, Winter signed it before even reading it. Ronald was taken aback and chuckled. "Ms. Shaw, don't you want to read the contract before signing it?"

Winter gave him a small, confident smile. "I trust you, Mr. Wells. You're willing to help me even when times are tough. I believe in you!"

Ronald's words were not straightforward, but even Winter, who was not the sharpest knife in the drawer, felt that something was off. She frowned a little and opened the contract she had shut earlier. Just one glance at the page made her face turn white.

Winter looked through the contract, shocked. Her expression was one of regret.
