The Billionaire's Regret

Chapter 111

Chapter 111

Even though Sebastian was just outside the door, the soundproofing in this room was incredible. As a result, Sebastian was unable to hear anything. Wyatt had mysteriously left such a strange sentence, so how could Sebastian not be intrigued? Ivy pressed her lips together. Her eyes flitted slightly, and she looked down, saying, "Nothing. How much time do we have until we get home?" "Two or three days." Sebastian scowled. 'It better be nothing or I won't forgive that jerk!' Simba, who was in Ivy's arms, poked his head out and said softly, "Papa left. Papa is heartbroken." Sebastian was bewildered. “Papa? Are you referring to Wyatt?" "Mama rejected Papa, so he's really sad," Simba sighed insouciantly. Sebastian walked over in two steps and grabbed Simba by the neck. "What the hell happened?! Didn't you despise him? You little scumbag!" Simba wiggled his legs and exclaimed angrily, "Hmph! Ryan, the Great God, said that you must be objective! He's already changed my program, so my negative impression of Papa has vanished!" Ivy's mouth twitched. "Ryan is excessive. How can he just change Simba's mind?!" Simba's adorable little whiskers wiggled. "The Great God Ryan warned you not to be a bad influence on cute little animals like me!" Ivy and Sebastian exchanged glances. Even with their combined IQs, they couldn't compete with Ryan. Ivy was exhausted and achy as a result of her unhealed wound. She finally gave up her strong guard and vigilance of the previous few days and succumbed to illness. Wyatt's words rang like a curse in her ears. Ivy desperately wanted to flee, but she couldn't get the thought out of her head. While Ivy slept, images of gunfire on the island and a terrorist attack on European streets merged in her mind.

She was plagued by nightmare after nightmare. When she awoke, she saw Sebastian by her bedside, who had stayed up all night worriedly watching her. She said with a relaxed yet firm tone, lowering her lush, dark eyelashes. "Sebastian, please find me a therapist." THE NIGHT SKY was a deep blue. The stars and moonlight were reflected in the ocean, which rippled across the water as the cold wind blew. On the deck, a man stood. His shadow was quite long. His eyes were as dark as ink and filled with gloom. He stood there motionless. The chill he exuded merged with the sea's raging coldness. Jason, the military doctor, approached slowly and joked, "Is the great President Reed standing here to heal his broken heart?" He'd never seen Wyatt, who was usually unconcerned about anything, become distracted for the entire day by a few words from Ivy. The man had a well-defined jawline. At first glance, his eyes appeared emotionless, but upon closer inspection, one could see the heavy and complex emotions churning inside. Wyatt quickly gathered his emotions and cast a sidelong glance. His voice was unfathomably low and husky. "I have a feeling she won't like me again." Jason arched his brow slightly. "You rescued her. Does she still blame you?" Wyatt laughed mockingly at himself. "She hasn't hated me in a long time, so she's not going to blame me." Just because she didn't blame him didn't mean she liked him. When it came to benefits, Reed Corporation was inextricably linked to Morgan Corporation, but Ivy would never work with Wyatt again. Jason let out a sigh and patted his shoulder. "Well, I believe it is still savable. You deserve to pay for all of the stupid things you did back then. But… Because you believe she is the one, you must do everything in your power to reclaim her! Otherwise, how could you let all of us brothers put our lives in danger for nothing?"

Wyatt laughed as he hooked his lips. His brows had finally relaxed. "Have the brothers returned?" “Yeah. Several massive helicopters entering the airspace at the same time will necessitate a lengthy procedure. I would have followed if it hadn't been for the patient on board. By the way, Mr. Hollywood came to see me today and asked if I knew anything about psychotherapy. Do you think Ms. Morgan…” Jason paused in the middle of a sentence. He frowned slightly, thinking that if any ordinary person had witnessed what Ivy had witnessed, they would have most likely collapsed mentally. Ivy's psychological defenses were thought to be very strong because she was still able to control her emotions so well. Wyatt's face fell as soon as he heard this. The worry and anxiety in his eyes could not be hidden. He didn't even have time to wallow in his grief before turning to leave. Jason, who wanted to talk to his friend, was speechless. 'Did I get dropped after a few sentences?' Wyatt walked to the corner of the corridor and overheard Sebastian on the phone with Helios. "She has nightmares all day. She is running a low-grade fever. Yes, she is conscious." Wyatt wanted to pause and listen, but Ryan, who was standing opposite Sebastian, had already noticed him and walked over openly. While continuing to report Ivy's condition to Helios, Sebastian rolled his eyes at Wyatt. "Of course, I looked after her! When she awoke, she was fine. She requested to see a psychiatrist on her own." Wyatt's brow furrowed as he heard these words.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
