Johnny immediately called the police station and found out that Alina had left after her son came to pick her up.
Zelda kept repeating to him that Alina was from the Chavez family and had gone missing once, only to be found by her family five years ago. When Alina returned home, she had a child with her, but the identity of the child's father remained unknown. Rubbing his forehead, Johnny felt like he might have offended Alina.
Alina took Danny to stay at a hotel for a couple of nights. As she finished packing, she sudda
"Alina, I've missed you so much!"
heard a voice outside,
Alina embraced the person who rushed over. "Kelsey, how did you get here so quickly? Weren't you on set this afternoon?"
This was her close friend Kelsey Tyler. They had grown up together, always inseparable.
Kelsey was a highly renowned television star in the entertainment industry, starring in several highly-rated series. At just twenty-five, she had won numerous awards as a leading actress and received many high-profile endorsements, rightfully earning her place as an A- list celebrity.
"He's inside playing games. What have you been up to lately? Tell me all about it," Alina said, pulling Kelsey along.
Kelsey replied, "I do have a very important role coming up. There's a great script and endorsement deal. Barbara wanted to compete with me before, but she didn't have the skills. She couldn't outshine me."
Hearing that name, Barbara, didn't surprise Alina one bit.
Barbara entered the entertainment industry, and in recent years, thanks to Johnny's support behind the scenes, she had gotten quite a few opportunities. However, without any professional training in acting, her performances were rather stiff, and despite the continuous support from her benefactor, she didn't gain much popularity.
Kelsey couldn't fathom why a mysterious CEO like Johnny would be interested in a woman like Barbara. She had heard rumors that Barbara and Johnny were secretly married and had two children.
Though she hadn't met Johnny, Kelsey was certain Johnny had a terrible taste and probably needed an eye check-up for his choice of women.
Kelsey continued, "I bet Barbara's boiling mad this time." Seeing Alina lost in thought, she asked, "Alina, what's up? You don't seem too thrilled." "Nothing, I'm just glad to see you doing so well!"
"So, you're not planning to go back to Dubmeath this time, right? What are your plans?"
"I'm here to discuss a partnership with the Sutton Group." Alina emphasized the word "partnership." "Their Fashion Department isn't doing well, hoping to uplift it."
-Apart from her medical expertise, Alina was an internationally renowned fashion and jewelry designer.
"Sutton Group? Johnny's company, right?" Mentioning Johnny, Kelsey didn't have a favorable impression. She believed any man who liked Barbara couldn't be a good person.
"If you happen to meet Barbara, don't hold back. It's best to show distaste toward her. The more she's annoyed, the better. Consider it helping me vent!"

"Alina, I'm thrilled you're back at Enkmelo! Come on, let's take a few more pictures. My agent said I haven't tweeted in ages!"
"Sure thing." Alina agreed enthusiastically.NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
Both of them were exquisitely beautiful, and no matter the angle, their photos turned out flawless and impeccable.
As Kelsey tweeted the pictures, followers immediately inquired about the gorgeous woman beside her.
Kelsey had a tight schedule and was soon due back on set, so after a brief moment with Alina, she hurriedly departed. Before leaving, she urged Alina to make sure they met more often in the future.
The next day, Alina went straight to the Sutton Group's headquarters for her scheduled meeting. Today was about discussing a potential collaboration.
Situated on Enkmelo's esteemed financial street, Sutton Group's headquarters represented the city's economic prosperity. Several towering buildings of Sutton Group had become iconic landmarks in Enkmelo. Back when Alina was a silly girl livin
