I drove in the same car with Ace yet I couldn’t get myself to ask him what he actually wanted from me. I cannot deny the fact that I enjoyed the sex we both had, but at the same time I knew there could be more to it or maybe I just had this feeling that there could be more to this sex. I was just smiling to myself all through as I walked to the lecture Hall. I saw Ace and his Friends laughing and giggling among themselves but I could not put my head to know why they were happy. Probably, Ace must have told them about what we did the previous night, or no, I don’t think he would do such a thing I don’t think he will be able to tell them how he has actually slept with me or how he f***** me in the bedroom.

I went in to sit in the empty lecture hall.

“Hi bestie,” I heard Karen’s voice as she tapped my shoulder.

“Hi, Karen,” I replied.

“Why did you just sit here, you didn’t even notice when I came into this place?” Karen asked, looking at my face.

” I’m sorry Karen, I must have been deep in thoughts that I didn’t even notice that you were around,” I replied trying to avoid Karen’s gaze.

“So tell me what could you be thinking about, it is obvious that you have a lot of things in your head right now. Tell me Cassie, what were you thinking about?” Karen asked again.

The moment Karen asked me what I was thinking about, I felt like telling her everything that has happened the past few hours between Ace and I, but I wasn’t so sure of what to tell Karen, I wanted to be sure how I feel. Even though I could feel that he might actually like me. I still need to be careful because Ace is a kind of guy that likes to sleep with different girls. Her room was very beautiful and well-furnished given the kind of pink girly room. Karen has always loved her room to be decorated in pink but I never thought that her obsession for pink can also take her up to this adult age even when she is in university. Her room is still beautifully decorated in pink accessories.

She has a very large closet and has lots of beautiful clothes in her closet. Karen was born in a rich home. She is born to a rich family, her parents are one of the wealthiest, she can actually get everything she ever wanted. Karen is the perfect opposite of me, while I struggled through my childhood and even right now, Karen has always had everything she wanted, beautiful clothes, beautiful shoes, beautiful hair packs, anything she ever wanted was actually provided for her. Karen has everything at her beck and call, she has nannies, domestic staff that takes care of her .

“Hey Cassie, I think this is going to be nice,” I came into her closet to see her holding a beautiful blue sleeveless dress, a dress that could barely cover my knee.

” I cannot wear that, Karen,” I protested.

“But why not? I was hoping you’re going to like it, you know that the big boys will be here to the party,” Karen insisted.

I knew that trying to talk Karen out it was a waste of time, she kept on saying we needed to have fun. Karen was busy bringing out all the accessories that I’ll need to wear to the party dress. I just quickly gave into whatever she wanted. I went into her bathroom to take a shower. I came out and wore the dress Karen gave to me.

“This is so beautiful,” Karen said the moment she cited the clothes on my body.

Even though I felt different, but no doubt that the clothes really looked good on me, I thanked Karen with a smile on my face, even though I didn’t know where we were heading to for the party.

Karen dressed up, she had a little makeup on her face and also did it for my face and it really looked so beautiful.

Looking at the mirror we looked so cute together. Even though I would have to stay back and read my books, at least it will help me clear off everything in my head. I would have to stop thinking about Ace. I wanted to face my education and also focus on getting a job. We checked that it was already 7 p. m. The day was gradually drifting into night and only the streetlights and beautiful colorful bulbs were seen on the street , vehicles were returning to their respective homes while others were going out to also have fun, perhaps.

Karen and I just stopped a taxi, we both walked in, it took us to Garden City club. I turned to look at Karen, she seems to know every part of the city. She seems to know every big club in the city, well I’m not surprised she has always been the fun-loving type of girl and she’s always the type that likes to bring me out of my shell.

“Yes Cassie, we are going to have fun tonight?” Karen said.

“Well there’s no problem, I think I have no choice but to join you,” I replied, and we both giggled with laughter. I was so happy I had something to distract me from my thoughts. I understand I have lots of things to do and especially to face my education and to get my grades so that I can get a job and make money for myself.

“So Cassie, tell me how has it been working with that dude, Ace and his family? I hope that they are not giving you trouble,” Karen asked concerned.

The club was filled with a lot of people, they were beautiful girls dressed in skimpy dresses, and young guys dressed in baggy jeans , loud music was playing from the speakers. This reminded me of the first night that I met Ace, and ever since that moment , everything has never remained the same. I promised myself that I wasn’t going to drink much alcohol so that I’ll be in control of everything that I was going to be doing and saying. I remembered how the last time I took such alcohol put me into the arms of Ace.

“Hey girl loosen up,” Karen said, shaking my body as she’s already dancing to the beat of the music that’s coming from the speaker. I looked at her and smiled as we both walked into the lounge where the large sound was emanating from.
