The Alpha’s Obsession with his Ex-Contract Luna

Chapter 148

Chapter 148

“I don’t have time for Tom. Get Mom. Your mate just fainted,” Alpha Nick said to Dustin. It felt like a whirlwind when Dustin rushed past Alpha Nick to his room.

“Goldie, Goldie,” he pulled Goldie from Sheridan and lifted her into his arms, hastening out of Alpha Nick’s room to his.

Alpha Nick shook his head and rushed out for Athena, who had stopped Tom a distance away.

“You don’t have to see him. This is a special day,” she said, thinking that Alpha Nick had come out because of Tom.

Nick shook his head and spoke seriously. “Mom, it’s not about him. Goldie fainted.”

“Did she?” Athena was disturbed. “Mindlink the doctor, but I think she’s pregnant. Youngsters of today do not give their mates the needed rest,” she said teasingly.

If Goldie fainted, then it meant Dustin had not been going easy on her in the night.

“Ted, you have to welcome the guests alone and inform the emcee that the event would be delayed a little,” she instructed her mate before going back inside the pack house to check on Goldie.

Alpha Nick mindlinked the pack doctor and went to check on Goldie as well, his mother’s words ringing in his mind about how Goldie could be pregnant.

Clad in a white tuxedo and running around made him uncomfortable, but with the event beginning anytime soon, he could not even think of taking off any of his outfits.

“She’s burning up too,” Dustin observed worriedly when Athena came in. Looking at how pale Goldie looked, Athena’s guess of her condition only heightened.

“Bring some water,” she ordered. Sheridan went to get it, and when Athena was about to sprinkle a little, Sheridan cautioned her.

“Let me cover Goldie up. Her makeup and dress might get ruined.”

Athena agreed. Today was Goldie’s coronation as well, so they had to make sure not to ruin her outfit.

Goldie might have a lot to choose from but must have also chosen this one due to a special reason.

He waited until Sheridan covered Goldie neatly before she sprinkled the water. With a gasp, Goldie’s eyes opened at the same time the doctor arrived.

After some examination, the doctor left after saying, “I will run a test in the lab and bring the result by the time the coronation is over. Drink a lot of water and don’t stress yourself until we confirin what you are suffering.”

“Okay, doctor,” Goldie said weakly. Dustin kissed her forehead.

“You won’t leave my side, and I will make sure you don’t stand for long,” he said seriously. Everyone was relieved that she was fine, and whatever the ailment was, they all wished it was nothing serious.

The coronation went on unabated. Daisy had messed up Bree’s well–set hair because she was attracted to the fascinator, which she managed to collect from her aunt.

Beta Dustin and Goldie were the first to exchange their vows and partake in the blood bond.

“In front of all pack members, distinguished Alphas, Lunas, and Betas, I, Beta Dustin Rav, indulge you, Goldie Warner, to accept my last name as my mate and be my co–beta. Together, we shall support the Alpha and Luna in the protection and service of this pack. Do you agree, Goldie?”

Goldie smiled and nodded her head. Though light–headed and slightly dizzy, she tried her best to go through this stage of their relationship. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Yes, I, Goldie Warner, accept your name and deem to be known from now onwards as Goldie Rav. I agree to be your co–beta, to support the Alpha and Luna in the protection and service of this pack.”

Smiles bloomed on the faces of those present, including the emcee, as he went on to say.

“Then the two of you shall slice your palm and allow a drop of your blood to touch the ground for the earth to bear witness.”

Dustin took the knife and slashed Goldie’s palm. The blood dropped, and he slashed his, his blood dropped on hers before their wounds healed almost instantly. As soon as that was done, Goldie could hear voices in her head.

The mindlink was now activated, warming her heart greatly as she now felt like a real member of the Dark Moon pack.

“Let me be the first to congratulate you as a co–beta of the Dark Moon pack,” the emcee said. Applause thundered through the pack as Dustin led Goldie to take a seat.

Alpha Nick shed tears when they exchanged vows in front of all prominent Alphas, Lunas, Betas, and pack members.

“Not everyone gets a second chance, but the moon goddess blessed not only me but this pack with one. Sherry, I vow to protect this pack, just as I vow to love and protect you throughout the days of our lives. Will you accept my name again as well as your service to this pack?”

Sheridan smiled, but the emotions were heavy in her voice as she spoke.

“Nick, I never stopped loving you and already changed my name back to yours again. It’s not just me but also our daughter Daisy, who would wholeheartedly love and render our support to lead this pack to glory.”

The pack members were so happy, it made Alpha Nick happy as well.

“Please allow two drops of blood each to touch the ground,” the emcee said. Alpha Nick slashed his palm and dropped his blood.

When he finished, Sheridan did the same. As soon as the drops of their blood mixed together, Daisy’s bracelet glowed brightly green to the astonishment of all.

Sheridan’s mind was invaded with voices as the dewdrop pearl bracelet Daisy took from Charlotte suddenly emitted an amber glow.

“Where did she get that?” Athena asked. Tom, who was hiding in the midst of the crowd guests, spoke up.

“I gave it to Charlotte. How did it get here?” He asked. Alpha Nick glared at him.

“Who even allowed you into my pack? I never authorized it.” Tom froze instantly.
