Bella’s POV

“How is Zeke ?”, Kai demanded as he rushed into the coven’s hospital.

“He is stable for now. None of his vitals were damaged. However, the doctor says that he needs rest and needs to recover from his previous injuries too”, Dominic answered as he took Kai in a side hug and kissed the latter’s temple.

“And Ryan ?”, I asked.

“He won’t leave his mate’s side. Won’t leave his hand too”, Dominic replied back as he scented Kai, even though he was a frigging vampire !! However, that seemed to comfort him and soothe his nerves after a stressful time during Kai’s sudden disappearance and Zeke’s critical condition.

“I am going to fix something for you all. You guys need to eat something”, I remarked and turned around to head towards the royal kitchen.

However, Dominic snagged me back and tucked me under his other arm.

“You two are not going anywhere. We are going to rest and relax together while the royal staff shall prepare our meals themselves. They would in fact, love to do that for us. It is rare for them to get this opportunity. You guys, on the other hand, shall let me sleep with you. I am dead tired. We will visit Zeke in the evening. Ryan is here to take care of him”, he declared.

“Sounds like a plan !”, Kai yawned and led the way to Dominic’s quarters.

As soon as we reached the heavily curtained room, Kai and I tiredly, curled up together on the bed while Dominic went to shower and rinse off Zeke’s blood off him.

Looks like he carried him to the hospital himself.

“What are you thinking ?”, Kai softly asked, looking down at me as I laid my head closer to his chest.

“Nothing special. Just having a bad feeling that something bad is going to happen”, I replied and Kai’s hold around my waist tightened protectively.

“Nothing bad will happen till the time, I am there for you”, Kai assured me before he was coaxing my lips to blend with his.

A small sign of assurance soon turned into a full blown out make out session which further led us to playing with friction and loving it, especially between our cores.

One thing led to the other and before we knew it, our clothes were carpeting the floor while our 3 S’s- slick, sweat and saliva were going on an exchange program in the most delicious way possible.
