“Is that really Mr Grayson that I see ?”, Freya whispered shocked with her glass stilled midway to her mouth. “Our prof ? That one ?”, she confirmed while squinting her eyes.

“Yeah and he looks so frigging hawt. Oh Mister, bite me”, Tyra replied and Kai smirked in amusement from afar as his Lycan ears caught on what was said.

“I swear I am going to bite her if she as much as touches you”, Dominic growled in Kai’s ear, making me and Kai chuckle as we made our entrance in the club.

“Dude, chill. Max is not gonna let her live it down if she as much as attempts to flirt with Kai. He is worse than you, Domz. So possessive. Grrrrr”, I replied.

“What did you just say ?”, Dominic suddenly stopped and asked.

“Max is possessive ?”, I answered unsure.

“Before that”, he demanded.

“Max is worse than you ?”, I guessed.

“No one can be worse than me unless- …. “, Dominic trailed off when Tyra and Freya suddenly flung themselves on me and gave me a super dooper tight birthday hug.

We giggled, greeted and complimented each other on each other’s dresses, which had previously floored our partners before coming to the club.

“Woah ! Who is this beauty !!”, Kai had gaped stunned when he had first seen me in the daring white, short, backless number that I wore with my face and hair perfectly dolled up when he had come in our room to get his car keys. “God, you are such a tease”, he had groaned when I had showed him my bare back while biting on my lower lip.

I had giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck, when he had pulled me close to him and had engaged my fiery red lips in a hot, intoxicating kiss.

“Mhmm. You don’t look bad yourself, Mister. Although, something down there is chubbing up and poking my thigh”, I had teased him.

“Yeah, it is misbehaving but you are solely to be blamed”, Kai had chuckled before resting his hands on my firm, round ass and capturing my lips in another deep, searing kiss.

“Bella ! Kai- …. Oh my fucking …. shit !”, Dominic had cursed wide eyed when he had seen Kai kissing me deep and good.

Kai had made it a point to maintain steady eye contact with Dominic with a smirk as he kissed me, teasing the Vampire King further by making me moan even deeply. Ah !

What ?! It was not my fault !!

Damn, he had intoxicating, hungry lips.

They were the clear champions of French Kissing.

“Like what you see, hot stuff ?”, Kai had teasingly mindlinked the drooling royal through the common mate link.

At one point, he had even mentioned, “Alright ! Fuck the club shit !! We are staying here only and I, my dear girl, am going to make love to you all night in that sexy, little dress that you are wearing while fucking your brains out, birthday boy at the same time”, he had declared which ofcourse had been vetoed right away.

However, let’s just say that we had taken a lot many breaks against the walls of the hallways, elevators and the car, on our way to the club.

The only annoying thing was to keep fixing my lipstick after the boys wildly smooched me at random times but it was worth it.

No complaints. None at all.

Coming back to the present, we all were already hitting the bar and getting wasted.

“So Mr Grayson, you are Bella’s mysterious dorm mate !!”, Tyra squealed, absolutely drunk already.

“Oh yeah. More like she stole my apartment (and my heart, through the mindlink. Aww) from me but I don’t have any complaints”, Kai smirked and took another swig from his beer bottle amidst great hoots and cheers from the other goofy drunkards.

“Dude, how old are even you ? 17 ? How are you drinking here ?”, Conor asked.

“Nuh uh. Turned 18 tonight”, Kai grinned and opened his fifth beer bottle like a pro, as if he had been doing this since he was born.

“Woah ! So it is your birthday too ? Bella and you are birthday twins !!”, Max exclaimed in surprise.

“Oh yeah. She is lucky to have been born on the same day as this star”, Kai cockily gestured towards himself, making me roll my eyes but chuckle along with the others nonetheless.

“I would rather say grandpa instead of a star”, I scoffed and got a couple of high fives for the rebuttal.

“What a burn !!”, everyone laughed and bottles clinked with each others as we set the perfect mood to have wild fun for the night.

“Ok Kai and Bella, here look up !”, the boys shouted and when we foolishly turned around to see them, two cakes came smashing on our faces, giving us a thorough facial everywhere.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUYS !!”, they shouted together while laughing, Dominic being the loudest.

This jerk.

Ughh.

And these recycled teenage dumpsters were surely going to get a taste of their own medicine !

“Well thank you everyone”, Kai took it quite well. “Here, you too take this !!”, he laughed and soon enough everyone was drenched with cake, alcohol, mustard and sauce- all at once.

Conor was struggling with someone’s ramen too while Max was pissing his pants laughing when Tyra’s face was swimming in alcohol with a lemon decorating the bridge of her nose !

Bwahahahahaha.

Dominic’s bodyguards and warriors seemed to be everywhere by now.

Soon enough, they were taking care of the grumbling section of the customers in the club while the rest were looking at us with amused grins.

However, the craziness of the night was yet to dawn in, when the kinky group with us shouted, “LAP DANCE ! LAP DANCE ! LAP DANCE !” and pushed me and Kai on the stage when Magic Mike’s hot number hit the sound track.

What the hell ?!

All lines of professor – student decency had been blurred long back. In their stead, a group of crazy drunk teenagers were hanging out together and causing a ruckus everywhere.

Hence, it was no surprise when Kai was forced on a chair and I was supposed to give him a lap dance as a part of a dare that was given to me as we played the alcoholic game- Truth or Dare.

Everything was going well- more towards the fun side as I gave Kai a steamy but prim proper, public lap dance. It meant that no hanky-panky policy was ensued, that is nothing physical was allowed except for dancing in his lap.

However, when in my drunken stupor, I suddenly lost balance and suddenly crashed on Kai’s chest, then everything suddenly went out of control from there and went south.

Talk about an awry night, dammit.

Kai was quick to hug me close to him and protectively wound his steely arms around my waist in a firm grip to prevent my senselessly drunk body from slumping down.

Shocked, we both stared in each other’s eyes for a good five seconds, sexual tension heavy in the air before my gaze fluttered down on Kai’s slightly parted rosy, plump lips.

That was the worst mistake of my life because no one knew who crashed their lips on the other’s first but we were soon making out intensely without a care about the world we lived in, with me on Kai’s lap in front of an audience of about 100 shocked people.

Our lips slotted against each other’s perfectly and a forbidden kiss never felt so good before as it did right then with his soft petaled mouth molding with mine with utter perfection.

“Uh !”, Kai indulged as he pulled me even closer to himself by my bum and with closed eyes, encouraged us to explore each other’s oral caves.

One did not need to describe the stupified looks on the faces of our partying friends, who seemed to have suddenly sobered up due to the 440 Volt shock that we gave.

“Oh shit !”, we heard Dominic curse before he tore us apart and carried me away from a red faced, whimpering Kai.

Dominic’s POV

“Take her with you to the castle, Ryan. I am going to handle Kai and bring him there with me”, I hurriedly said as I laid down my unconscious mate in Ryan’s car. “Drive fast and don’t stop anywhere. I will compel everyone to forget everything in the meantime, ok ?”, I instructed my Beta strictly.

“Relax Domz. Everything will be alright. They just had too many drinks and they are clearly, lightweights. I am sure they won’t even remember what they did here tomorrow morning. Our finest vampire warriors are already compelling everyone to forget the incident. Take a chill pill and just take care of the Beta Lycan. He is a good boy but he needs your help right now. So hurry up”, Ryan comforted me.

“Yup will do”, I nodded in agreement and smiled for the first time since the horrible moment as relief washed over my tense features, on the thought that Kai could save face back at the uni.

That was so damn close !

“Drive safe, Domz. I will call you when we reach”, Ryan called out before he zoomed away in his car.

I exhaled all the air out with a huff and slumped my shoulders down before going back in.

Kai. Now it was time to look after the culprit of the whole fiasco.

Hopefully, my warriors were speeding up the process of damage control.

“Did anyone leave the place after the incident ?”, I asked the Head Warrior.

“No Sir. No one left the bar. We were able to seal all the exits before anyone could leave and we have compelled everyone to forget. If you want you can check it out yourself, Your Majesty”, he answered.

“It is alright. I will look after my mate. Make sure that you remove all the surveillance tapes in this place. Store them in the castle’s control room”, I ordered.

“Yes Sir !”, the loyal warrior replied before scampering away to carry my orders.

I stepped up on the stage, scooped a passed out Kai in my arms and took the insanely handsome man towards my car.

“Oh baby ! You almost got us in trouble”, I softly said as I caressed his soft hair and pressed a gentle kiss on his forehead.

He mumbled something in his sleep and it was adorable to see him behave so cutely as he peacefully slept in my arms.

As much as I was frightened by the sudden kiss, I had to admit that I was embarrassed to have sported a fucking boner on the spot !

Oh Goddess, these two shall be the death of me !!

I gently placed him in the passenger seat before I, myself slid in the driver one and rode off towards my safe haven.

It had been fun while it lasted here but I was not going to risk anything over the weekend, especially before I properly mated and marked them.

Hence, I was going to keep them with me in the castle till then.

School could go to hell till then.

Dominic’s POV

“Dominic, we need you in the meeting room right now”, Ryan mindlinked just as I was carrying Kai to my quarters.

“Until and unless it is not an emergency or anyone is not dying, don’t disturb me”, I growled back through the mindlink.

“Get your ass here, Vampire King. It is a goddamn emergency of grade one, especially when that motherf- …. ughh, it is the Dark Overlord. Come over quickly”, Ryan sighed tiredly.

I swear that rascal had never acted like my parent but he surely knew how to disturb my peace and sleep, like one.

“I am coming. Inform all the Heads to join me in the conference room in five and call back all our warriors in the city to the castle. Double, triple or quadruple our security here. Ask the witches to strengthen their spells around the borders”, I quickly relayed all the orders through the pack link directly. “Set a curfew for the entire week or, till he is gone. No one will be allowed to go outside and no outsider shall be allowed inside after the next 10 hours”, I added.

“We are on it !”, Ryan replied and closed the link.

I laid down the drunk silly pup in my arms beside my beautiful sleeping princess and kissed both my adorable mates goodnight on their cheeks before tucking them comfortably in a blanket.

I love you, my mates.

Mates. Hmm. It sounded good- mates.

Gosh, it was finally true.

We were mates !!

Finally !

And I was not going to let anything happen to them- either in the human world or otherwise.

Nope, not on my watch.

I was always going to be their protector.
