Chapter 24

DANNY

Waking up next to Kyle is relaxing. I am not sure how that happened but it did. I feel safe and comfortable around him. My head is buried in his chest again. Last night after the game he didn’t seem to want to let me out of his sight. There was a party after the game but we skipped it, so that way we could be better rested for the lake today. Plus Courtney can’t really party. She was ready to come home anyway.

I woke up before Kyle. I am just watching him. I have never done this before. He looks so peaceful. I can tell he is starting to wake up, his hand grips on my thigh, which is really just the bottom of my ass. He lets out a little groan as his eyes flutter open. “Morning, beautiful.” He has a pleasant grin on his face this morning.

I give him a small smile. “Your shameless flattery will get you nowhere.”

“Oh, yeah.” He rolls over on top of me pinning my body under his. “How about I just ravage your body.” But instead of kissing me like he usually does. He starts growling and nibbling on my neck. It tickles so I am laughing hard.

“Kyle that tickles.”

He pulls back. He has a goofy look on his face. “I know.” He returns to nibbling my neck. As soon as I feel like I am out of breath he starts kissing and licking the skin. My laughter dies down, but now I am breathless for a whole different reason. His hands start to move around my body, causing me to moan in delight. Shit, what am I doing, this is Kyle. He may want to sleep with me, but he is not serious about me. I would just be a booty call. Yet, at the same time, I don’t care right now.

When Kyle’s lips make it to mine, I am gone. There is no coming back now. Kyle must feel it too. He grinds his erection into me. He moans with me. Shit how can he make me feel like this? His hand reaches under my shirt, I push my breasts up to meet his hand.

Courtney laughs on the other side of the door. “No, but we are supposed to be at the lake in like an hour. We have to get ready.”

Kyle groans, landing his head on my shoulder. “Why do we have friends again?”

“Because you want to be social.” I point out.

He smiles and looks up at me. “Right now the only one I want to be social with is you.” His lips come back to me.

I push him back. “If we don’t get out of this bed. Something is going to happen that we can’t take back.”

He looks me right in the eyes. “Danny, I…” The words seem to be stuck in his throat.

“What?” I look at him. I want to hear it. I want to know if what I think is happening is really what’s happening. I need to know.

“I…” KNOCK KNOCK.

“Are you guys decent yet?”

“No.” I yell back. Fuck go away Courtney. I have a serious question here.

Kyle gives me a peck on the lips. “We better get up. She isn’t going anywhere.”

I groan. “What happened to morning sickness?” Kyle chuckles a little.

I still want an answer, but I guess it isn’t happening right now. I open the door and look at Courtney. She just smirks at me. “Was I interrupting something? Like Kyle professing his love for you.”

I blush, that is not what was happening. “Courtney. That isn’t funny. Let’s get packed up.”

She grabs my arm and pulls me to her room. “Ok, so you need a suit that is going to kill out there.”

“What about you? You can still wear one. You can’t even see the baby bump yet.”

She smirks. “Well, thank you Danny. And you know what you’re right. I won’t be able to wear one much longer. I should do it while I can.”

She pulls out a red suit and a blue one. She tosses the blue one at me. This thing covers me, but not by much. There are a lot of strings. “Are you sure about this?”

She is already putting on hers. It is the same thing. “Yeah. Flaunt it girl. Hell if Kyle doesn’t appreciate it, then show someone who will.”

“You know Kyle and I aren’t like that.” I counter as I pull off my shirt.

“Yeah, well, I’ll be the judge of that. Wear the suit.”

I am tying the strings when I continue talking. “You know it wasn’t that long ago that you hated the entire idea of me showing my body. This is new to me.”

“Yeah, what can I say? This baby loves her aunty.” She laughs a little.

“Yeah, what happens when the baby comes out?” I counter.

“Oh, I guess I love you too.” She has her suit on and is digging for some shorts.

“I should go to my room and find some shorts.” Before I leave the room, I look back at Courtney. “Hey, do I look alright?”

She stops her digging and looks right at me. “You look way better than me. You are going to turn some heads.” She winks at me.

I don’t know why, but this puts a smile on my face. “You look good too Courtney.”

She stands up and rubs her belly. “Yeah, I guess I do for now.”

“This baby is going to change things, but not that much. I am sure you can find a guy that will be with you too.”

She looks a little sad. “Maybe, but I am ready to do it alone. As long as I have you to help me.” She gives me a hopeful look.

“I’ll always be here for you.” I smile back.

I head back to my room to find some shorts. As soon as I enter the room, Kyle’s attention snaps to me. “Holy fuck.” He is staring at me. “I’m not sure I want to go to the lake now.”

I look down at myself now. “Do I look that bad?”

He stalks towards me. “Oh, hell no.” His lips are on mine before I can even blink. He lifts me up, carrying me back to the bed. He has me pinned under him in seconds. “You look good enough to eat.” His lips attack mine. We are a moaning writhing mess.

When Courtney comes to the door with her throat clearing, I want to hit her. “Well, as pleasant as that looks. We have to get going.”

Kyle groans. “You better have a cover for this suit.”

I give him a crooked grin. “I was going to put on shorts.”

“More.” He pecks my lips. “Just more.”

I laugh a little. “Sure. Got to make sure no one sees the badness.”

He gives me a look. I am pretty sure it is your crazy look. “Do you not realize that if you don’t cover that body, I am going to have to punch like five guys. At least.”

“Why?” I am seriously confused right now.

“Because I can not have guys looking at my girl like a piece of meat. This is for my eyes only.”

I roll my eyes. “How am I supposed to swim?”

He shakes his head. “I don’t know. But we will figure it out. Now, just cover up.”

I am not even technically his girl. I guess in theory this works. I slip on a t-shirt and my shorts.
