“I guess so.” Kevan’s voice was calm, but the smile in his eyes was obvious.
“Can you decide on the wedding now?” Dylan raised an eyebrow.
“I’ll see.” Kevan did not know what Larissa really wanted, so he did not dare to decide by himsell.
“You’ll ‘see‘?” Dylan was unhappy with Kevan’s indecision. “If you drag this out anymore, you and Larissa will probably already have your
second child!”
Kevan was helpless. “This isn’t something that I can decide by myself,”
“What’s wrong. Mr. Rogers?” Dylan eyed him teasingly as he said. “You’re already afraid of your wife now? Are you still that egotistical Mr. Rogers that I know?”
“I’m not “afraid of my wife.” Kevan corrected him. “I am respecting my wife’s opinions. A mansplainer like you will never understand.”
Dylan was very indignantly confused. “Fine, fine. It is whatever you say it is.” He did not want to bother arguing with Kevan.
When Kevan got home. it was almost 2:00 am. The house was dark, and Larissa and Aster had gone to sleep a long time ago.
Kevan showered in the bathroom outside. Because he did not take a set of pajamas, he only wrapped a towel around himself before. moving carefully into the bedroom.
The dim illumination from the nightlight allowed him to see where he was going a little.
Kevan peeled the sheets back and wiggled in quickly.
After making sure that Larissa was asleep, he carefully moved closer to hug her from behind.
Her warm and soft body sank into his arms, and Kevan felt so much better.
Gently kissing her cheek, Kevan happily closed his eyes.
Larissa got up later to go to the bathroom and realized that there was someone else in the bed with her.
She screamed and escaped from his arms, jumping out of the bed.
Woken by Larissa, Kevan opened his eyes as he asked worriedly, “What’s wrong?”
Hearing his familiar voice, Larissa’s pounding heart gradually calmed down,
She grabbed a pillow and whacked Kevan with it as she scolded him. “Why didn’t you say anything about you coming home? You scared me to death!”
Kevan rearranged the pillow and explained in an aggrieved manner, “Well, that’s because I saw that you were asleep and didn’t want to wake you up.”
Larissa was struck speechless by him, but she was still angry. She stood there with her hands on her hips as she glared at him, but she could not say anything to scold him. After all, he was the one in the right even though she was scared hall to death.
They stared at each other for a long while before Kewan finally broke the silence. “Aren’t you going to go to the bathroom?”
Larissa only remembered this then. She angrily cursed at him before hurrying into the bathroom.
Kevan could not help Laughing quietly as he watched her escaping figure.
How could his wife be so cute?
Larissa purposely stayed in the bathroom for a while to wall for the blush on her lace to lade.
Only then did she leave the bathroom expressionlessly.
Larissa froze. “What did you call me?”
