Sweet Revenge By Nuit Chapter 4

Chapter 4:Cheating in marriage, zero tolerance

Simon put her on the sofa, turned to fetch ointment and alcohol cotton, first wipe clean and then

carefully smear the medicine.

In fact, the small injury had already stopped bleeding on the way here, and now the ointment was on, cool and refreshing.

Silvia looked at the man in front of her, head down, and concentrated on rubbing her medicine, looking as if that was an ordinary thing, but this was such a little thing that all these years Ladarius never did.

So, it’s not that men were careless, but they when just didn’t care about you.

After applying the ointment, Simon looked up and saw her lost in thought, “What?”

“Nothing.” She shook her head and hurriedly put her foot down, “Thank you.”

“You are my wife, no need to say that word. But there is one thing I want you to remember for sure.”

Screwing on the cap of the ointment, he said slowly and deliberately.

“You say.” Silvia nodded.

“I don’t care how you used to be, but since you married me, you can no longer be involved in coupling…”

“I won’t!” Not waiting for him to finish, Silvia quickly said, “You can rest assured that at least within this marriage, I will ensure my fidelity. And I hope, you will too.”

Probably not expecting her to have the guts to make a request of him, Simon raised his eyebrows.

“I know our marriage is a deal, and while I don’t know what you’re in it for, there are principles within the marriage that I hope we can still keep. If you ever have a sweetheart, I will agree to a divorce, but cheating – within marriage there is zero tolerance!”

She had already experienced betrayal once, and would never allow herself to experience it a second time.

Simon raised the corners of his lips, “What a coincidence, me too.”

Looking at his smile, Silvia was lost in thought for a moment.

This man was really, God’s carefully crafted masterpiece.

Not only did he have an excellent mind in business, but his appearance was also impeccably perfect.

Originally, she was only looking for his cooperation with the intention of trying it out, but she never thought she would marry him.

At 7pm, Silvia arrived at the competition site with Simon in his car.

She didn’t expect him to go in person, after all, this contest was just a small scene for Warin, whose beauty products were frequently entered in international competitions. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

When the car arrived, it was just in time to see Ladarius’ car parked in front of the venue.

He was wearing a navy blue suit, and his hair was styled, looking handsome as ever, and after he got out of the car, he immediately turned around and blocked the top of the car door with one hand, and led

Vivienne out of the car with the other hand, being considerate and caring.

A sarcastic smile escaped from the corner of her lips, Silvia was laughing at herself, how could she have been so blind before?

“Getting out now?” Holding one of her hands, Simon asked, turning his face sideways.

Silvia shook her head.

Admittedly, if she took Simon’s hand and got out of the car and walked up to them now, it would be explosive news and would make these two panic, but that was never the outcome she wanted, or

rather, not nearly enough.

She wanted to give all these years, her heart and soul and feelings, all with interest back!

The competition was small in scale, but it was still very elaborate in terms of process.

To ensure the fairness of the competition, the judges were industry experts selected from the provinces, and then all the participating perfumes were personally submitted by the representatives of each family three hours before the competition.

In these three hours, the experts would score and rate the perfume in terms of its character, top note, heart note and base note, etc.

In other words, the results were already decided, but they had not been announced yet.

Silvia didn’t enter the venue, she stayed in the exclusive VIP room with Simon, where she could see everything that was going on through the large projection screen in the room.

Ladarius and Vivienne were very happy, as if they already had the award in their pockets.

Silvia watched quietly, laughing, laughing as much as you want, the days when you can laugh like this were numbered.

The lights in the venue dimmed a little, signaling that the results were about to be announced, and

the guests who were still socializing turned to look at the stage.

According to the usual practice, they started with the smallest awards. Apparently Ladarius did not ser his sights on those small awards. Even if V.L’s naine was not read, he was not anxious, holding

Vivienne with one hand, confidently looking towards the podium.

“The following will be announced, the first, second and third prizes of this competition.”

The host cleared his throat, “Before announcing this award, I would like to emphasize that this competition is based on the principle of fairness and openness, and there is no restriction on the size of the company. As long as they meet the requirements, they can register for the competition.

But we also want to caution everyone, in addition to the quality of the product itself, the perfumer’s character is of the utmost importance. We strictly prohibit and combat all suspected plagiarism!”

Inside the VIP room, Silvia gripped her glass tightly, her red lips pursed, watching Ladarius and Vivienne on the screen.

Apparently, they did not realize that these words had anything to do with themselves, and even led

the applause in support.

“That’s so right! Our small V.L has always been dedicated to originality and R&D. Plagiarism and copying are really the shame of the industry, and even if the finished product is not as good as it should be, we don’t care for such behavior.”

Ladarius said in a righteous voice.

Vivienne added, “Yes. Although I am only an intermediate perfumer, not as good as the masters in the industry, I have always admonished myself to be solid and diligent to make a brand that our countrymen can be proud of.”

The audience applauded, and the reporters seized the opportunity to take pictures, looking harmonious.

However, the host on stage had a serious face and turned his words to say, “So that means V.L absolutely guarantees the originality and authenticity of your entries?”

“Of course!” Ladarius said confidently.

After he said that, he felt something wrong in his heart.

He had participated in many exhibitions and competitions before, but he had never been asked questions like this one, and he was asked by name.

But other than that, these perfumes were all made by Silvia’s own hands, and he had the confidence to guarantee the originality.

His face took on a look of pride at this thought.

“Heh…”

Silvia let out a light snort,

The host gave him a deep look, turned his head to the crowd, and said with a straight face,

“There is a special situation in this competition, two different companies have chosen to enter the same product, and even the names of their works are the same.”

Although not directly named, he had deliberately asked Ladarius, and the discerning eye knew who he was talking about. As for who the other family was, it was not clear.

Ladarius’ face fell.

This was even more embarrassing than not winning the award.

In front of many companies in the industry and the media, he was questioned about plagiarism, and when the news breaks tomorrow, V.L’s reputation will be ruined.
