Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 61

Happy reading…

Jayden slammed down the documents and photos that Roy had just given him. The man massaged his temples gently. His head felt like it was going to explode because of the emotions that were starting to overwhelm him. While the man in front of him could only look down, not daring to look at the boss. Remember, an angry Jayden looks really scary in Roy’s eyes.

“How could Hera get up so fast?” he growled until his jaw clenched.

In the photo provided by Roy, it can be seen that Hera has lived in a fairly large house and the document also states that Hera has taken over her father’s company.

How could Hera be able to do that all at once? She should have come to Jayden, pleading with him with a pitiful face full of tears. But what happened now, Hera instead had fun with her dazzling beautiful face.

Damn it!

“The property that Miss Hera lives in is now in her own name. That’s why you can’t take over.” Maybe Roy was afraid but he also had to explain everything he knew to the handsome man.

“Did she get the property from Haidar?”

“Most likely, sir. Because Miss Hera also got clients from Mr. Haidar’s connections.”

Oh shit!

Jayden huffed in annoyance. He didn’t take that into account. He forgot that the opponent he was facing was not easy. Or in other words Jayden got a balanced opponent.

Drrtttt… Drrttt…

The phone on Jayden’s desk vibrated making his attention turn to it. Elena’s name was written on the phone screen. Jayden took a deep breath before placing the flat object to his ear. Moving his index finger told Roy to get out. For now the information he provided was sufficient.

Yes, enough to make Jayden frustrated for some reason.

Is he jealous or is there some other feeling that’s hard to explain? Who knows.

“What’s the matter, Elena?” Jayden asked looking out his office window.

“Didn’t you forget that today we were going to have a wedding dress fitting?” asked Elena on the other side.

Oh shit! Jayden forgot and if he answered honestly, Elena would be furious.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

“I couldn’t have forgotten,” he replied. There was no other choice Jayden had to lie.

“Then I’ll go to your office.”

“No need. We’ll just meet at the boutique.”

Elena was silent for a moment. “Okay.”

“Ok, see you!”

Jayden hung up the call unilaterally without hearing Elena’s response.

Honestly Jayden is in a bad state today. But he also had no good reason not to fulfill Elena’s wish.

Prepare for the wedding.

Jayden had only been divorced from Hera for about a week but now he was at the boutique preparing a wedding gown with Elena. Truly extraordinary. Jayden himself shook his head in disbelief. How short has it all gone?

“Honey, what do you think?” asked Elena as she came out of the dressing room in a long white dress. The proportions of her tall and slender body make all the dresses she wears look very beautiful and suitable.

Elena was so intrigued by the design of the dress she was wearing. It looks simple but looks luxurious with some sequin decorations that are not excessive. A few seconds passed she didn’t get an answer, so Elena looked up at her future husband.

“Jayden!” call Elena. Jayden daydreamed there.

“Hei, honey!”

Jayden never woke up from his long daydream. It wasn’t until a shop clerk who was not far from him called, that Jayden woke up and looked at Elena.

“Ah, yeah, s-sorry. What’s wrong?” Jayden asked frantically.

Elena rolled her eyes lazily. “I’m asking you, honey. Is this dress good for our wedding?”

Anyone who heard Elena’s words could guess if the woman was upset and angry.

Jayden watched with a panicked face. He tried to stay calm but failed miserably. “I think that—”

“Never mind … forget it,” cut Elena. She looked at the woman beside her. “We will come again tomorrow.”

“Okay, Miss.”

Elena came back into the dressing room with an annoyed face. Hoping to have fun with the lover, preparing for the wedding, the opposite happens.

“What happened to you, Jayden?” asked Elena.

Now they were in a car that wasn’t going so fast across the highway.

“Just thinking a lot,” Jayden replied without even glancing at Elena.

Elena took a deep breath. Resting her back on the car seat roughly. Her slender hands folded in front of her chest indicated that the answer Jayden gave did not satisfy her.

“Soon we will be married. These should be the happiest days of my life after waiting more than a year for you,” said Elena, pausing to catch her breath. “But, somehow I feel that I’m the only one who wants this marriage,” she continued, holding back the tightness that hit her chest.

Jayden pulled the car over and turned to Elena. The woman’s shoulders rose and fell trying to hold back tears. He grabbed Elena’s hand and gripped it tightly making her look at him.

“I’m sorry,” Jayden whispered. Their eyes met there. “I’m not unhappy that we’re getting married soon. In fact I’m the happiest person here because I can finally be with you, Elena.”

“But why don’t I feel like that, Jayden. You’re such a stranger.”

Jayden tightened his grip even more. Trying to get Elena’s trust back.

“I’m sorry for that. Maybe because of the effect I’m too busy taking care of the apartment construction at Alatha Center. But I promise from now on I will focus on our wedding,” Jayden coaxed with pitiful eyes. If it was like this, Elena couldn’t possibly dodge it anymore.

The woman with the long hair tugged at Jayden’s neck. Put their lips together. She don’t know how long Elena had not felt how sweet and lovable Jayden’s lips were. She really missed her man.

Meanwhile Jayden was at war with his own mind. The man felt guilty for continuing to lie to Elena. Should their relationship start like this? But he also couldn’t say that his busy schedule wasn’t because of work but because of Hera.

Jayden should have quit since they were divorced. They’re done. Jayden has achieved all of his goals. Use, destroy and even make the woman’s good name bad in front of her family. Then what now? Jayden’s revenge has succeeded. But the dimpled man was never satisfied.

Jayden was always curious about what Hera was doing. Even had his assistant spy on the woman.

Crazy! This is really crazy!

What have you done to me, Hera. Why is letting go of you so hard?

The kiss for a long time — only Elena enjoyed it because Jayden was busy thinking about Hera — lasted before they drifted away from each other.

Elena smiled meaningfully. She stroked Jayden’s cheek gently. The man just smiled faintly without taking his vacant gaze from Elena.

“I hope you’re right. Everything that happened was because you were so focused on Alatha Center… not because of Hera,” said Elena.

Suddenly Jayden’s body stiffened. And that’s when he finally realized what a jerk he was.

To be continued….
