Stay or Leave

Leo was actually worried about his little brother’s whereabouts. Leo left David, Leo went into his room and immediately contacted someone.

“[Hello]” Leo said after the call was connected.

“[Yes, why?]” someone asked, answering Leo’s call.

“[Please find Ayunda]” said Leo

“[Ayunda, isn’t there her husband’s house?]” Akmal asked.

Well, Leo contacted Akmal, his assistant and best friend.

“[If Ayunda is at David’s house, it’s impossible for David to find her here]” Leo said.

“[Okay, I’ll help find it]” Akmal replied.

“[Thank you]” Leo replied.

then the call ends.

“Why, come on, sir?” asked Lisa, Leo’s wife, who had been listening to her husband’s conversation with his assistant.

“I don’t know, what is clear now is that Ayunda didn’t come home to David and David was looking for her here,” said Leo, telling his wife.

“It’s not that Ayunda is still sick, sir,” said Lisa

“Yes, that’s why I’m worried about his situation, because this afternoon, Mas just delivered from the hospital back to his husband’s house,” said Leo worriedly.

“Then how are you?” asked Lisa who was also worried about her sister-in-law and best friend.

“Mas I have asked Akmal to look for her, you better get some rest. It’s late, let me take care of Leona and wait for news from Akmal,” said Leo who was nodded by Lisa.

Now David is driving his car again to look for Ayunda’s whereabouts. but in the middle of the trip, David’s cell phone rang with a long ring signaling an incoming call. Then David pulled over to the car to see who was calling him to pick up the call.

“[Where are you mas?]” Bella asked David.

“[On the road]” David replied.

“[Bianca kept crying, bro, I wanted to give a nurse but I couldn’t bear it, bro. You’re going home now, sir]” Bella whined.

“[Yes]” David answered then ended the call without telling Bella first.

After hanging up the call, David took a deep breath and pushed his hair back

“Hahaha”

“Why is my life so complicated like this, God,” David muttered and then started his car back to go home and canceled his intention to find the whereabouts of his first wife.

Now that Akmal is out of his apartment after receiving a call from his boss, Akmal immediately gets ready to look for Ayunda’s whereabouts.

Akmal drove his car to the place where he and Ayu used to spend time together when they were still dating.

They used to be secretly dating. and that’s where they met behind Leo.

They always spend time together joking, cooking together and chatting with each other. Akmal takes great care of Ayunda, even though they are often alone in the same room. But they didn’t go overboard.

After taking about an hour and a half, Akmal finally arrived at the apartment building which was not so luxurious. Akmal immediately parked his car in the parking lot. After that Akmal got into the elevator and pressed the button to the floor of the room he was going to.

Arriving in front of the apartment unit, Akmal tried to press the PIN he remembered and it turned out to be true, no one had changed it yet.

Akmal entered the apartment unit and his eyes went straight to the bedroom door. Akmal tries to knock on the bedroom door and not long after, the bedroom door opens from the inside.

“Bee, uhmm I mean Ayu are you here?” said Akmal.

“Yeah, what brother told you to look for me?” Ayunda asked right while strolling and sitting in the TV room not far from her room followed by Akmal.

“Your brother and husband are worried about you,” said Akmal.

“I will definitely go home” Ayunda replied.

“when?” asked Akmal.

“Tell them I won’t be long, just want to be alone firstand you go home, mas, tell my sister I’m fine” Ayunda said.

“You’re not okay Ay,,, if you need my help say it. Just think of me as your brother, I’ve been willing to give up our past. Because I know we’re not matched,” said Akmal.

The tears that Ayunda had been holding back finally came out, well, Ayunda also needed a place to lean on, a place to pour out her complaints. But Ayunda is confused about where she wants to complain other than to her God. Ayunda also needs sedation, her husband who used to always be a calmer is now like a stranger. Ayunda couldn’t possibly tell her sister because Ayu was aware that her sister already had a family of her own.

If Ayunda still had parents, surely Ayunda would return to her parents and devote everything to them.

“Cry, if crying makes you calm,” Akmal said, patting Ayunda’s back slowly.

Ayunda could only cry, unable to utter words. Because Ayunda is still aware that she is still someone’s wife. Ayunda shouldn’t be complaining with the man beside her now.

But Ayunda just needed a place to lean on when she was sad. Her husband, who was always there, now approaches her just to ask for her rights. when it’s finished, it will definitely return to its second wife, then how Ayunda must devote everything to her husband. If only her husband didn’t have time for her.

“Go home and thank you,” Ayunda said when she had shed her tears in front of Akmal.

“Okay,,, take good care of yourself. If you need my help, you can contact me” said Akmal to which Ayunda nodded.

Akmal leaves the apartment after saying goodbye to Ayunda.

Akmal also contacted Leo to say that his sister was fine and Leo was relieved about that.

then Akmal drove back his car to return to his apartment.
