Chapter 627
Ashley nodded, "Thanks for the guidance, Emmert. I'll leave Emily and Stephanie in your hands.
Emmert nodded back, and Ashley took off.
Stephanie and Emily were messing around on set, oblivious to the pair of eyes spying on them from the shadows. Sullivan had a headache. Initially, he didn't want to harm Stephanie, and now there was another girl involved. However, it was hard for him to defy Rebecca's orders.
No one knew that he was actually Rebecca's puppet, living his life entirely for her, obeying her every command. "Hey, Stephanie. who's that guy over there?" Emily abruptly pointed in Sullivan's direction.
Stephanie followed her gaze but didn't see anything.
"There's no one over there."
"There was a moment ago. Why did he leave as soon as I spotted him?"
"Did you see wrong?"
"No, there was really someone."
"Probably a crew member."
"Alright. Steph, continue telling me about the play."
"Okay."
On Stephanie and Emily's third day on set, Stephanie began shooting her first scene.
It was a sci-fi movie, and she played a robot, so she spent most of the day suspended in mid-air.
In one scene, Stephanie was hanging in mid-air.
Sullivan was standing not far away. His eyes darkened as he looked at the thin rope.
If the rope broke, Stephanie would be seriously injured, if not killed, right?
Suddenly, the crew member in charge of the rope shouted, "Pay attention, everyone, this is Emmert's granddaughter. Every prop must be thoroughly inspected before she usest! Including the rope! Did you all hear that?"
All the prop masters responded, "Yes!"
Sullivan kept silent. So this plan wouldn't work.
"What's up with you, young man?" Emmert's voice suddenly came from behind Sullivan.
Sullivan turned around, looking somewhat confused, "What?"
"Why are you staring at my granddaughter? Don't tell me you've taken a liking to her! I will never approve! You're practically twice her age!" Sullivan's mouth twitched, "Emmert, you're overthinking."
"I hope I am! Hmph!"
"Stephanie, come here!"
"Grandpa, what's wrong? Was my performance just now not good?"
"No good at all! I tell you to play a robot, and you really think you're a robot? The robot in this film is technically a robot but appears human This robot initially has no human emotions! But it develops them after interacting with humans, understands?"
"So I still have to act human?"
"Not entirely. You also can't forget that you're actually a robot!"
What a complicated role!
Stephanie felt like she didn't fully
grasp her character, so she
automally turned to Sullivan,
"Sullivan, I remember you've played a similar character before.
"And?" Sullivan responded dismissively.
Stephanie coughed awkwardly, "Well, could you give me some pointers?"Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Sullivan replied, "No."
Emmert said to Sullivan, "Sullivan, that's my granddaughter. Can't you show me some respect?" There was a threat in his voice. Sullivan didn't seem to care, "Fine."
Hearing this, Stephanie's face lit up, "Thank you for agreeing to give me some pointers."
