Chapter 17 Kill Shot

Avoiding his gaze, Emily paced and looked around the room. There were mainly cold colors, and there

were not many things in his room. The most expensive things might be the paintings and calligraphy

works on the wall, which made her feel the atmosphere oppressive.

The blanket on the floor was so clean that she could hardly find any dust on it. She thought to herself,

“It really fits the man’s temperament.”

“Mr. Clark is so just and stern. Why don’t you have consideration for my feelings?”
