Sold to the Cold-Hearted King

Everyone rushed inside the throne room staring at King Ryui. He kept destroying anything his hand was on. He couldn’t control his anger, he couldn’t hide his tears. The queen was trying to calm him down but it seems everything was in vain.

“Why now for Heaven’s sake?”King Ryui cried, falling to his knees.

“You need to calm down King Ryui, they will find them and bring them back very soon”Queen Sabrina uttered.

“How did you expect me to calm down when you know my wife is somewhere out there and we don’t have the knowledge of where or what situation they are in?”King Ryui screamed.

“She’s also my daughter Ryui, you need to calm yourself okay”Queen Sabrina muttered.

“She’s pregnant, she’s fucking pregnant okay.”King Ryui yelled.

“What”Queen Sabrina stuttered.

“Yes, we confirmed it two days ago,”He muttered.

“Oh heavens, my poor baby,” Queen Sabrina cried.

“Have you seen King Justin?”Queen Lola asked Mrs Evelyn.

“Not at all Her Highness,”She answered.

“Can you do me a favor?”Queen Lola asked.

“Anything, my queen,”Mrs Evelyn replied.

“Here, give King Justin his herb “Queen Lola uttered.

“But my queen, King Justin, doesn’t allow anyone into his room except the Queen’s.”Mrs Evelyn stuttered.

“I know, but I have no choice here. He has sent some guards to search, Sabrina isn’t getting herself right now. I need to be here to support the rest of the Queen’s”She uttered.

“Okay my queen, I will try my best,”Mrs Evelyn answered, turning around.

Fiona and Honour followed Mrs Evelyn. Of course, the parrot among them won’t keep quiet.

“If Royalty is pregnant why didn’t she tell everyone about it” Honour murmurs.

“The situation on ground isn’t the right time dear, she might think her pregnancy might hurt Tessa because she’s barren”Mrs Evelyn replied.

“But princess Tessa isn’t the type to think such,”Honour replied.

“She might not show it in front of everyone, but she cries on my shoulder once she’s hurt.

“Oops!”Honour murmurs.

“Mrs Evelyn is going back to Assyria Kingdom in the next one hour, I don’t know when you are going to King Seven’s kingdom but I just want you to know that we don’t have much time left. Since we don’t know who kidnapped the sisters, we need to support King Justin in his toughest time”Fiona uttered knocking on the King’s door.

“Am planning to embark on the journey tomorrow,”Mrs Evelyn replied.

“He’s not responding to any of our knocks”Honour extragerated.

“For heaven’s sake, we just knock once, Honour.”Fiona scoffed.

“You can knock again then”She scoffed.

Mrs Evelyn pushed the door gently, peeping her head in.

“Stay here, I will go in,”Mrs Evelyn instructed.

“Okay mother,”Honour replied.

Mrs Evelyn walked in gently, scanning her eyes through. His room alone is large and wide. Mrs Evelyn heard someone sniffling and followed it, which led her to a dark secret room. She paused for a while and placed her ear on the door in order to confirm her instincts. She sighed deeply and opened the door slightly and soundlessly.

“Why is everything dark?”She thought.

“Who’s there?”King Justin growled angrily.

“Mrs Evelyn, your highness,”She answered.

“What are you doing here?”King Justin groans.

“Queen Lola asked me to drop off your herb,”She answered.

“Drop it on the group and leave,”He muttered.

Mrs Evelyn did as she was to, not after taking a few steps away from the herb, she hit her foot on a box.

“Why is everything dark, for goodness sake”Mrs Evelyn screamed.

“You should have opened your eyes brightly enough for you to see in the dark.”

“Rubbish, idiot”Mrs Evelyn cursed inwardly tracing her hand on the wall down to the table lamp. She exhales heavily and switches it on.

“Why did you switch it on?”King Justin growled angrily.

“Why won’t I switch it on? Staying in this dark room like a coward isn’t my thing”Mrs Evelyn yelled, not realizing her mistake.

King Justin was flummoxed for some seconds, he kept staring at her weirdly.

“I will pick them up,”she muttered. Mrs Evelyn turned around and crouched but stopped as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“Where did you get these pictures?”she asked calmly.

“Why did you touch my things?”King Justin growled angrily, standing up on his feet.

“Where did you get this picture?”Mrs Evelyn screamed at him. As tears streamed down her cheeks. Another picture fell from the picture she was holding.

“What are you doing with this picture and this lady?”Mrs Evelyn growled, holding the pictures tightly.

“I should be the one asking you these questions, how did you know those pictures?”King Justin asked.

“This is my family, this is my only sister. She’s my cousin and this baby here , this baby here is her son. I took Ramiro as my son, because that was her fucking last wish and I lost Ramiro, i lost him ” Mrs Evelyn screamed, holding her head as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“Ashlyn ,,,, was ,,,, your,,, sister”King Justin stuttered.

“You are the bastard that made her pregnant and ran away”Mrs Evelyn screamed.

“I didn’t know she was pregnant Evelyn,”King Justin cried.

“How did you have these pictures if you didn’t know she was pregnant?”Mrs Evelyn asked.

“Someone is using it to threaten me”King Justin muttered, running his hand through his head.

“We know who is threatening you already, don’t worry”Mrs Evelyn scoffed.

“It’s not Varaganisa but it’s King Soopers.”King Justin muttered.

“King Soopers,”Mrs Evelyn gasped. And continued

“He acts innocent and gentle, I thought we was a glorious King”she uttered

“He’s not, but a pretender, King Varaganisa, he’s just carrying everything out because of his hatred for me, ”King Justin muttered.

“I still need to get more answers to my curious questions from you”Mrs Evelyn uttered, locking up the door.
