Leaving

Leaving

I grabbed the envelope and started uncovering its content, there were a lot of images taken of me and

Shawn sitting in the bar yesterday and talking in the car, the windows were foamed so there were no

plus eighteen photos but the reason why we stopped for three hours and remained in the car was

pretty evident.

"I expected that my son seeks pleasure from you but why did he waste his time and meet with your

friends?" Gerald asked with contempt filling his voice.

I seriously wish to hit him in the face right here and right now but miserably I can't.

"He wanted to meet with my friends..." I stated the obvious boldly. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

"Lily, you must not understand what I am trying to imply here so let me speak more honestly. I was

clear when I informed you that you would be disposable in no time, I don't want my son to get attached

with these empty feelings that he has for you..."

Did he think that our relationship would keep on deteriorating because I definitely thought the same,

that wasn't what happened though? What should I say to him? I stoop up silently not knowing how to

respond.

"He even asked me to take over the company, it seems that he found out about what I did to you, and

therefore, I will have to get rid of you as soon as possible." Gerald continued.

"I did not tell him anything, I swear," I uttered.

"I know, I am the one at fault here. I did not expect him to love you that much to the extent that he is

even plotting behind my back. I can't afford to lose my son because of some bitch like you." Gerald

added in an angry voice that radiated through the mansion's walls.

"We can't have him suspect that I am the one who got rid of you though if you know what I mean..."

I totally know what he means, I know that Shawn mentioned something about protecting my friends but

I can't bet on that. I can't bet on my friends' lives, even if this will result in our separation, I am more

than ready to make the sacrifice.

"I will leave on my own..." I started.

"Good girl, as if you have run away when you had the chance. That how this scenario should look

like..." Gerald explained coldly.

"I understand," My voice was determined but cracked, imagining not ever seeing Shawn again made

me worried and sad.

"Here's a ticket to France reserved under your name, I want you to write a nice lovely letter to Shawn

informing him that he is not worth fighting for," Gerald ridiculed.

"Of course I don't need to tell you what will happen if you refuse or..."

"I know," I swiftly replied.

I pulled the ticket from Gerald's hands and headed to my room in despair. I have only one day to spend

with him, I will fly to France the day after tomorrow. I started writing the letter, tears were falling over my

shirt as I wrote the second line of my letter. I regretted hearing his confession yesterday and even that

we did it.

Those memories will become the reason why I feel bad about finally being able to leave this mansion, I

thought I should be happy with this news but I wasn't. What about college? We are on a break but how

will I be able to enroll in a college abroad for the second term?

Lily, you are being silly. You can take care of yourself once you reach France, skipping a year is not a

big deal when you have 20 grand in your account. You will be able to live quietly and peacefully, I

thought to myself.

It was 6 pm, time was passing quickly and Shawn did not come back yet.

At 8 pm, I heard Shawn's footsteps approaching. I almost ran to him as fast as I could but I knew better

than anyone that I should play my role carefully so I remained seated.

"Hey, sweetie. Were you waiting for me?" Shawn began as he held a smile upon his face that melted

my heart.

"Yes, I was counting minutes for you to come back,"

"Awe, since when have you become this sweet," he chuckled as he rubbed his nose against mine in a

very cute gesture.

"Work was so boring today, I was so excited to come back home to contemplate your beautiful

features,"

"What did you do at work?"

"The usual I guess, lots of paperwork, lots of meetings, and lots of thinking about you of course," he

commented cheekily as he pulled me towards him.

"You should take a shower, I will ask the maid to prepare you dinner,"

"I am afraid to shower alone," he joked playfully.

"Also, my dinner is already ready," he giggled.

I followed him to the royal bathroom of our room, I know it is not the right time to describe the bathroom

decor so I will not but all I have to say is that it was fabulous.

The water was running over our naked bodies, I was feeling less embarrassed by him touching and

seeing my bare body now. He was gentle and being with him was a fantasy that I should not have

involved myself in. His scent, his hair, his eyes dragged me out of my senses for a while; I shall not fall

into this trap again.

The next morning, he headed to work, as usual, I placed the letter I wrote on the bed and rode the car

with my driver secretly heading to the airport. I know that I could have seen him for the last time before

my flight at night but I knew that if I did that, my will would be weakened and I might have spilled the

beans.

I waited in the airport patiently as I made several phone calls; I called Tony and John and informed

them that I would run away and I will not contact them for a while, I needed to hide the details since

Shawn might ask them about it.

Tony kept begging me not to do so ordering me not to worry about them, and that he has contacted his

gang and is ready to tell my friends about his plan but I declined his request, I did not want to cause

any more misfortune for anyone.

I have decided to leave quietly and no one will be able to change my mind.
