Chapter 1162 Communicating in Their Room
Chapter 1162 Communicating in Their Room
"Nothing," Julien replied nonchalantly, but his gaze remained fixed on her chest.
Sydney lost her temper.
'That's brazen of you. Why don't you look away then?
'Instead, you continue to look and lie through your teeth.
'You're shameless or what?'
"Julien!" Sydney raised her voice, shouting his name.
He blinked. "What's wrong?"
The corner of Sydney's mouth twitched.
'You have the nerve to ask me?'
"Take your eyes off me! What are you peeping at?" Sydney yelled, her face turning red.
Julien's eyes flickered with amusement. "I'm not peeping."
"Is that so? What are your eyes laid on then?" Sydney covered her chest more tightly.
Julien smirked and said, "You're my woman, so it's normal for me to look at you. It's only called peeping when it comes to other women, alright?"
Sydney was speechless, finding her voice again after a long time. She countered, "That's sophistry. You're twisting the facts."
Julien chuckled, saying, "I can't help it. You're so beautiful, and I couldn't resist looking at you. You won't blame me for loving you, will you?"
His deep gaze locked onto her.
Her eyelids twitched as Sydney listened to his flirtatious words. "Don't give me that. Are you saying that I'm responsible for your lustful gaze on me?"
"No!" Julien denied it, shaking his head. "I just can't resist your charm."
"If so, you can just look at my face instead of at my chest." Sydney blushed up to her ears.
Julien tightened his hold around her waist. "I couldn't help it, and don't you feel that they have grown bigger?"
He laid it bare.
Sydney's pupils contracted, and her face was filled with astonishment. "You..."
She couldn't believe that he noticed.
She was delighted when she discovered it back then.
But to her surprise, this brazen man discovered it too.
She knew that once he did, he would be delighted. But his joy upset her.
From her blush and silence, Julien realized something and grinned from ear to ear. "It seems you've also noticed. It makes sense since they grow on your body. But Leaf, have you ever wondered why they have grown bigger?"
Sydney cautiously shrank her neck. "What are you getting at? Just be clear that it has nothing to do with you. Let go of me and let me go back."
She began to struggle.
However, the man's embrace was like an impenetrable fortress.
After struggling for a while, she failed to break free and exhausted herself.
"We won't go back to Shallow Bay tonight. We'll stay here for the night," Julien said, still holding her.
Sydney paused. "What? We're not going back?"
"Yes." Julien nodded. "Before we came here, Grandma had instructed Felicia to arrange a room for us. If we leave, she will be disappointed. She wants us to stay and have breakfast with her tomorrow."
"Why didn't I know about it?" Sydney was puzzled.
"It's just a small matter, so she didn't tell you. When it's time for bed, someone will take us there. It's too late, and she's worried about us on the road. You won't reject her good intentions, right?" Julien looked at her with narrowed eyes.
Sydney pursed her lips and snorted in the end. "It's only for Grandma's sake. If it were you, I wouldn't care."
Julien chuckled. "I know you're filial. By the way, the room is all set. Let's go over, and I'll tell you the cause of your change."
Before Sydney could react, he slightly bent down to pick her up and carried her forward.
Their room was not far ahead.
Before long, Sydney came to her senses and widened her eyes in shock. "What are you doing? Put me down!"
"It took me some effort to pick you up. How can I let you go so easily?" Julien's arm held her steadily, and his pace remained unaffected by her struggles.
Obviously, for Julien, no matter how vigorously Sydney struggled, she couldn't shake him the slightest bit. He could still hold her firmly in his arms.
For Sydney, if it weren't for Julien taking her to do something bad, his embrace would have brought her a sense of security.
Sadly, for that moment, there was no sense of security and only panic.
"You'd better not mess around. I..."
Before she could finish her words, her back touched something soft.
Sydney instinctively looked over before realizing that the man had carried her into the room and placed her on the king-size bed.
All of this happened so quickly that she didn't even notice.
Not until then did she realize how near their room was to the corridor.
Finding her in a daze, Julien bore down on her and gently flicked her hair. His voice was hoarse and sexy. "Anything on your mind?"
Sydney shivered and snapped back to reality, finding his face drawing near.
She tensed up and instinctively cowered.
But behind her was the soft bedding. There was no room to retreat, and she was still in his arms.
"N-nothing. Just get up. There is no way I'll do it with you tonight." Sydney braced her hands against his chest and gently pushed.
Julien looked down at her. "Why not? I haven't communicated with you about..."
"Stop!" Sydney immediately covered his mouth. "Who wants to talk about that? I don't even want to know. Just get up already. This is the old residence, remember? If we do something here, Grandma will know. It will be embarrassing."
He had no sense of shame, but she had.
"What's so embarrassing about it?" Julien wrapped his arm around her waist. Instead of getting up, he stopped propping himself and crouched down on her.
When his full weight landed on her, Sydney was almost out of breath.
"Julien..."
"Guess why Grandma only arranged one room instead of two for us?" Julien interrupted her complaint and asked her with a half-smile.
Sydney blinked in confusion.
'Indeed! It seems like Grandma didn't arrange two rooms.'
In fact, it wasn't their first time staying in the old residence for the night.
They had done it once and had shared a room too.
But they didn't do anything intimate at that time, and she had no problem with such an arrangement.
It was probably because she had been used to sleeping with Julien. Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.
It had become such a natural thing that everyone, including her, was convinced that it was fine for them to share a room wherever they stayed.
And everything they did in the room was natural, even though they hadn't remarried.
