It’s a gloomy day in Monteverde’s mansion. The sky is dark. It warns that any moment from now a heavy rain will happen. Flora is just looking outside of her window. She is just looking up at the sky. ” Yes, That it’s. I made it for you when you are still in my belly. ” Chantal softly said as she leaned her back on the rocking chair.

” Lenox also had one and it’s also in the frame. His Yaya also put it in the frame!” Flora excitedly squealed that makes Chantal chuckle as her daughter is acting cute in front of her.

” Yes, I made it for all of you because I love the two of you,” Chantal sweetly said, which made Flora blush. She felt so warm about what her mother said to her.

Chantal is a good mother to all of her children. It’s just that sometimes her attention was focused on the youngest Lenox because of his weak immune system.

” Mommy, Can we go to the amusement park? My friend Rhian went there with her family. She said that they all enjoyed the amusement park rides ” Flora said while doing a puppy eye to her mother. Chantal just giggles as she gently pat her daughter.

” I will talk to your father about that ” Chantal softly answered that makes Flora pout.

” Dad, Will never let us go in the amusement park unless it was Ate Maxine’s request ” Flora mumbled that got the attention of Chantal.

After minutes of playing with her Nanny went inside her room bringing snacks for her and for her mother.

” Flora, Your favorite is here ” Chantal announced to Flora.

” Well, your Grandparents really do love tea. I think I inherited it from them, ” Chantal answered as she reached her cup of tea.

” And aside from that, every snack time in our house. A tea is a must ” Chantal added that makes Flora nod out of amusement.

Chantal put down her cup of tea as she put her right hands under her chin as she tried to remember when it started.

” What is it, honey?” She sweetly asks as she looks at the door. And she saw a kid peeking at them.

IT’S A GLOOMY DARK AFTERNOON and the sound of music coming from the piano was echoing in the whole ground floor of the mansion.

” Bravo… Bravo… You are really talented Ms. Maxine!” Professor Rheylan said while clapping his hands.

Maxine gently nodded her head as she looked at her Teacher.

” Okay, That is your lesson for today and next week. We will start practicing for your next competition, ” He excitedly said.

Professor Rheylan, Just nod his head before he walks outwards the room. As soon as Professor Rheylan left the room. Maxine immediately looks at the antique clock that hangs in the room.

She is thinking about where her mother is at this time. ” She is in the Lenox room for sure ” Maxine mumbled as she smiled and excitedly walked outwards to the music room while energetically hopping. As soon as she reached the stairs she quickly ran up the stairs and ran towards her brother’s room at the right annex of the mansion but when she opened the door. She didn’t see her mother but her brother sleeping soundly.

Maxine was puzzled and looked at her brother’s nanny.

” Where is mommy?” She immediately asks.

” She is in Lady Flora’s room ” The nanny politely answered. Maxine’s face became too sour as she quickly left the room of her brother. As soon as she steps outwards the room. She looks at the room of her Sister’s Flora that is located near the west annex of the house.

” Why is she there?” Maxine asks to herself while slowly walking towards her sister’s room. She sees her sister’s nanny bringing snacks to her room. She quickly walked as she tried to stop the door from closing. She quickly peeked and she immediately saw her mother sitting in the rocking chair while having a chat with Flora.

She suddenly feels jealous when she saw that the two of them are having fun while she is not there. Especially her mother. She throws a sharp stare at Flora enough for her to feel her presence.

” Maxine ” Her mother softly called her name.

Lorenzo just laughed because of his child’s sweet reaction. As he bent down and carried her.

” Hello, my princess ” Lorenzo greeted and after that they fully entered Flora’s room.

CHANTAL LOOKED at Flora as she gently reached her and pulled her at her side as she wrapped her hands around her. She knew that Lorenzo favoured their first born daughter and as a result Flora is always the neglected one. She already talked to Lorenzo about his treatment of his two daughters but he only told her that Maxine needs more attention than Flora who is not Genius like her older sister. She felt sorry for Flora. She wants to spend some time with her but her youngest one Lenox is born with a weak body. Maxine felt happy when she felt her mother touch her head. She felt warm and relaxed but her mood was 360 degrees when she glanced at Flora who was hugging her mother.

” Don’t worry Lorenzo, I will handle Auntie Davina” Chantal gently answered as she stood up and walked towards her husband and sat down beside him.
