in awe as I stepped into the bathroom.

The high-end faucets, free-standing tubs, marble countertops and floorings. Every d**n thing here screamed money.

Of course, it was not my first time coming here. If I could remember vividly, Alpha Leo and I have had ourselves in the bathtub a few times. I bit my lower lip.

"Oh!" I let out a nervous chuckle. Sebastian must have called and luckily for me, we had a code we were to say to each other whenever we called. If neither of us said that code, then it is to be assumed that someone else was with the phone. In this case, Sebastian was smart enough to figure out that Rita was the one answering the call.

"I can deal with Sebastian. Don't worry."

She looked a little bit skeptical. "He threatened to find a way to end your life soon. He talked about how easy it will be to end your life. Do you really live alone? Sebastian knows your house address now and I am scared he will do something nasty to you. I can find you somewhere else to stay or I'll find a way to convince the Alpha. He has to let you live here. This mansion is big enough after all."

I flashed her a smile. My smile has always been the direct opposite of my true nature. It was the only part of me that refused to get tainted and I liked it. It made it very easy for me to deceive people. "Bringing your mate's ex to stay with you is a very bad idea," I said and she smiled.

I feigned a grateful look and reached out to her to hug her.

"I have to leave now, I'd see you tomorrow," I said, pulling away from the look.

"Please do," she replied. "Hopefully, you won't have to go back home again. Please promise to stay safe. I promise to always give tabs on you."

I laughed when I left the room. I liked the idea of staying with Alpha Leo and his gullible mate.

"If not I'll screw this little agreement of ours, receive the little punishment Alpha Leo would give me since I have committed a serious crime and watch you serve life for harassing the Luna, attempting to kill the Luna and blackmailing the Luna with her nudes." There was a a little silence at the other end. "I'm sorry," Sebastian tian rasped and I smirked. "That's much better. Doesn't it feel good to be a little more respectful. Now, tell me why you called."

"I just wanted to ask you to hasten up with whatever you are planning. It's hard to sleep these days. I won't be able to sleep until Rita comes back to me and starts begging at my feet for my mercy."

"Is that all?" I asked, annoyed. "So, you have nothing valuable to add. You just called to table your stupid demands. Stop pestering me. I'm working hard to get my wolf back. You'll get your she-wolf, so be patient and stop trying to ruin my plans."

I snorted and cut off the call. Sebastian was just useless. He was a minor pawn in this big game of mine and when I finally became Luna, I was definitely going to find a way to get rid of him. I wanted to give birth to the next Alpha of this pack and Sebastian was a threat. He wasn't a major threat though, but he was heartless. I was too and I knew how much we were willing to go to get whatever we wanted.

I saw Alpha Leo from afar and before he could see me, I quickly hid in the nearest room around. He must have sensed someone else's presence because when I peeked back at the hall. I saw him looking around.
