of last night began to relive in her memory, in realization of what happened she covered her mouth

while tears cascaded down her face. She soon found the will to get up to take a needed shower

stripping herself of yesterday's clothing. Before getting a step into the shower she got a glimpse of the

mirror to stare at her reflection in disgust.

Her mouth parted slowly in shock, the hickeys you could still see were very red, and fresh including

Elijah's hand print on her neck with several other ones branding her with his mark. Her eyes were

sunken In making her look somewhat lifeless and loss with slightly swollen eyes.

She could still feel Elijah's finger prints roaming and groping her body searching for something he didn't

get the pleasure of using. Her heart was aching at the sight before her, She didn't recognize the girl

infront of her.

Not wanting to look at herself anymore she stepped into the shower. She scrubbed her body constantly

until her skin was red of irritation trying to get rid of the filth on her body.

She took a second to get herself together placing her head on the tiles letting the hot water run down

her body. She stepped out feeling somewhat refreshed wrapping the towel around her purposely

missing the mirror on the way out.

Getting dressed felt difficult as she had no energy. She sat down in silence starting at something yet

nothing at the same time. Her bedroom door opened reviling her mother, and father with sad looks

displayed on their faces coming closer they embraced her in a hug. They sat down just enjoying each

other's company, and comfort within each other Diana placed a tender kiss on her forehead.

"Your fine sweetheart don't worry your okay". Her mother's words reassured her. "I know your not well,

but hunny we need to go to the police station okay" Demitris said haven nodded understanding.

The Starling family spent at least two hours in the police station for questioning before Elijah arrived

handcuffed looking demolished sporting a bruised lip, and both eyes to match, the pain evident in his

face.

They watched him being questioned through the glass not missing the two empty place in the front

where he's teeth should have been making him sound incoherent with each word he spoke.

Haven almost laughed almost, though Demitris took the opportunity to laugh loudly as his wife shook

her head with an unpleasant look, She had to thank Beau that. Demitris being a lawyer wanted to take

the case which caused him to be rejected saying he was to emotional invested for him to contribute. He

was so livid the police had to forcefully hold him back until he was calm enough to discuss other issues.

Beau, and emiliano also came in as a witness telling their part and what they knew; though going to the

police station wasn't exactly beau's favourite daily activity as it brought up memories he wasn't to fond

of. The police officer's looked at him skeptically finding other files that didn't make him look all to well in

there eyes, but none the less let him go after finishing.

Walking out of the room he saw haven patiently waiting for when her parents would return. He decided

to sit down beside her not saying anything just enjoying her presence. He did notice the marks on her

face, but thought she still looked beautiful regardless. She took a glance noticing his knuckles were

bruised, taking his hand she examined it. He felt invigorated by the soft touch of skin that covered his,

he was deeply in love with their different contrast of skin color beside one another.

"Your parents must be mad your here huh?" She asked dryly feeling bad continuing to hold his hand

with her's. He watched her in fascination as she played with his fingers "No" he replied. "Well I'm sorry

your here, could have been doing something more productive with your time" she gave him a look

before returning to her previous task.

A frown was placed on his face. "This is me being productive with my time, it's for you so I don't mind at

all" he said softly. "Hmmm.. well I never got to say thank you so thank you, and especially for the

missing teeth in the front I almost laughed". She said in a dull tone, he smiled lightly watching her in

realization that the glow she usually carried was gone.

They continued to sit holding each other's hands when beau felt a faint kiss on his cheek. Haven in

amusement watched how his face turned light pink in embarrassment. He bit his lip she was making

him nervous and, he didn't understand why. "Uh thanks" he said awkwardly looking forward.

Her parents came back holding each other's hand looking stressed, while beau quickly took his hand

away from her grasp not wanting to give off the wrong impression while haven gave him a funny look.

"Are you beau?" Dimistris asked watching the young man that sat beside his daughter. He nodded then

felt the older man embrace him in manly hug patting his back.

"Thank you for bringing her home safe that night really we owe you" he was truly grateful. Beau shook

his head not wanting anything "It was honestly no problem sir" he said scratching the back of his head.

"You two go ahead I just want to thank him once more, I'll be there in a second" Demitris said not

bothering to look at anyone, but beau. Nodding Diana wrapped her arm around her daughter walking

off to the car, but haven stayed curious about what her father had to say.
