Only Yvette stepped forward to greet Yasmine. She smiled, hiding the awkwardness in her eyes. "Ms. Sanchez, what a surprise. What brings you here?"
"Not a surprise. I moved in here," Yasmine replied calmly, glancing over at the group who looked as if they were facing a formidable enemy.
Selena laughed out of anger. "What are you talking about? Xavier is divorced from you, and this house belongs to the Flynn family. Who do you think you are, moving in here?"
Helen couldn't hold back her disdain any longer. "Yasmine, you are really shameless. Even after the divorce, you're still trying to cling on."
The two carried themselves with such arrogance, clearly oblivious to the fact that Xavier had given this house to Yasmine.
Yvette looked embarrassed and suggested gently, "Ms. Sanchez, if you really don't have anywhere else to go, I could call Xavier and ask him to lend you another place. My parents need to stay here, and it's just not convenient." "This is my house, Your convenience is not my concern, Yasmine replied casually. "By the way, Xavier already gave me this place."

They couldn't believe Xavier would ever do something like that, especially since he had no feelings left for Yasmine. Melissa couldn't help but sneer, "Some girls really have no shame. They still cling to their ex-husbands even after the divorce."
Yasmine kept her cool, showing no signs of anger. Instead, she dialed Xavier's number and put it on speaker. "You can ask him yourselves."
The call connected quickly. Yet, Yasmine didn't bother to speak up.
Melissa took the lead, saying gently, "Xavier, it's Melissa Jack and I are doing just fine, but your ex-
wife showed up today claiming this house belongs to her and demanding we move out Isn't that ridiculous? She's just your ex. How could you possibly give her the house and let Yvette suffer because of this?"
On the other end, Xavier rubbed his forehead, finally recalling that the house was in the process of being transferred to Yasmine. After a momem, he said, "You and Jack just stay there for now. I'll talk to her." Melissa beamed, "That's good"

After a pause, he took a deep breath and said gently, "Yasmine, you're not planning to stay there for now, right? Why don't you let Yvette's parents move in? They'll only be here until the wedding is over."
A chill ran through Yasmine, She lowered her gaze and replied coolly, "Understood. Since you're getting married, could you please finalize the divorce paperwork in the next few days?" With that, she hung up. Yvette's gaze flickered slightly, and she realized that Yasmine hadn't really finalized the divorce yet.
Meanwhile, Selena looked more arrogant than ever. She called the villa's security and said pointedly, "Don't allow any unidentified women in anymore, Hurry up and get her out."
