Chapter 29 Hedy and Victor Made an Agreement after the Kiss

Victor raised his eyebrows but said nothing, with his face straight.

Hedy was offended. What a sanctimonious man he was! What a well-dressed beast he was!

She gritted her teeth lightly, and said, “First of all, we are not a couple, and you can’t kiss me. And second, I will persuade Leo to sleep alone, and you’d better stand on my side.”

“We are not a couple?” Victor sneered, with coldness in his eyes, “If we are not a couple, how could we have a son?”

“Hedy, it this your way to treat a relationship?”

The humiliation in his voice drove Hedy mad. She blurted out, with her face taut with rage, “Women all over the world will be eager to bed with you for your good-looking face and your money. Don’t ever think it this way. Let me tell you, if it wasn’t for an accident, you wouldn’t have a chance to bed with me.”

“I tell myself that you are Leo’s father. I just regret Leo’s didn’t get father’s love from you over the years. So, I compromise to accept your demand and live with you.”

“Now, I can see you are just an asshole. To live with someone like you, I shall concern the future of my son. I have made up my mind. I am going to bring Leo back to my house.”

And then, he nodded, and said, “Ok, you can take Leo back to your house when you get off work today.”

Hedy couldn’t believe what he had said. How could it be possible that he just let them go so easily? Did he claim that he was going to take Leo from her? Things wouldn’t be this easy. He wouldn’t be this nice

to her. He must have some wicked plans.

Hedy felt so insecure.

But if Hedy could leave from Victor with her son, it would always be her top priority.

Hedy decided to take her mind off it. Perhaps, for the rich, they might not care much about their next generation.

After all, objectively speaking, anyone was rich and handsome like Victor, if he wanted to have a son, many young and beautiful girls from noble or wealthy family would be willing to bed with him.

“If you have no objection, then we shall get going for work.” Victor said in a calm voice.

Subconsciously, Hedy rejected, “No bother.”

“My company is in the opposite to your company. I can give you a lift.” As Victor spoke, he turned around, and waved to Leo, who was peeped through the front gate at them.

“Daddy, mommy…” Leo ran over towards them like a cheerful hoarse.

Leo directly ran into Victor’s arm. Victor held him firmly, raised him in the air and smiled, “Leo, which car do you want daddy to drive today?”

Leo cocked his head, mused for a while, and said, “The Veyron. I like its name. It sounds really powerful and decent.”

Hedy was amazed. What is the Veyron?

Victor nodded at once, and acclaimed, “My son’s taste is as good as mine. I love the Veyron car as well.”

All three of them went to the parking lot. As Victor opened the door of his Bugatti Veyron, Leo immediately slipped in just like a small and agile fish.

Hedy meant to get in through the opposite door. But then she changed her mind, for she had already accept Victor’s lift, she shouldn’t be so stagy. So, she bent over and was about to get in.

“Mommy, you shall sit on the front seat.” Leo said as he gestured a “no” to Hedy.

“Mommy, if you sit with me at the back seat, daddy will become a chauffeur. He will be upset. Passerby will think he may have a problem with his wife and make fun of him.” Leo made up a decent excuse.

Hedy was stupefied after hearing the excuse.

Hedy felt harassed. Why would her son be with such a good eloquence that she, as an adult, didn’t even know how to bargain against?

Hedy got in and sit on the front seat.

The car was started.

Hedy’s heart was beating faster as she darted looks at Victor, even though she didn’t mean to do so.

The way Victor drove the car was earnest and sedate. His face was firm and good-looking, and its outline was perfect as if it was crafted. He was so attractive, especially his thin and light-rosy lips. It seemed to seduce girls to put their lips on them.

Ahh…

Hedy was going to freak out.

She stretched out his hand to pull her hair, her eyes gazing at the landscape passing by, and she forced herself to forget the scene that she was kissed by Victor last night. She told herself that all the

crush on Victor was because she was bewildered as a victim.

The weather was good, and there was no traffic on the road. Before long, their car already turned to the Delta street, and Victor directly pulled over at the front door of the Gretain Building.

“Mom, have a nice day. See you in the afternoon.” Leo smiled, with anticipation in the eyes. He didn’t know what his parents had decided yet.

Hedy gave Leo a hug and kissed him on the cheek. And she blew him a kiss as she walked away.

However, at that time, it was the rush hour. It was crowded there. So, dozens of workmates witnessed what Hedy was doing.

A luxury car, a handsome man, and the lady was one of their workmates. Various version of gossips then started spreading across the company.

Hedy was oblivious of their gossips about her. She got into his design studio with Jeffrey and Sherry to work on the robe as soon as he got to his company.

And for Leo, he went with Victor to the Moore Group cheerfully.

Standing on the ground in front of the building, Leo raised his head and looked up to the skyscraper, his eyes was full of worship, “Daddy, is this building your property?”

“Yes. I bought it when it was just built. I bought for no reason, but now it has become the center of the downtown, which surprises me.” As Victor said pompously, he looked up through glass window at the building next to the Moore Group.

It was the SG Group, whose president was Wayne Thomas now. And he was Hedy’s ex-husband. If there was a chance, Victor would like to meet him.

Victor looked down, held Leo into the arm, and walked into the elevator.

At this moment, Wayne drove Kelly to BL Boutique to check her robe. The car stopped at the door of the Gretain Building. Holding Wayne on his neck, Kelly gave him a kiss and said in coaxing voice, “Thank you for driving me here, darling.”

“I will go and check the robe with you.” Wayne thought it might be improper to work since he was absent-minded. So, he decided to accompany Kelly to have a look at the customized robe that costed him over millions of dollars.

However, Kelly flustered, and turned down his proposal instantly, “No bother. I can handle it myself. You gotta get going for work now.”

Wayne could feel something not right in Kelly’s eyes. He straightened his face and stretched his hand to open the car door, “Are you hiding something from me?”
