Chapter 22: Still Want to Have My Child?

Thinking that he would not be such a jerk in front of their son, Hedy walked over.

As soon as she sat down, Victor’s cold fingers penetrated into her long hair. His finger pulps gently rubbed her scalp, making Hedy feel like she had been electrified.

He was good at this. She felt comfortable letting him dry her hair.

Hedy wished there was a big mirror in front of her. She wanted to see how the scene that he gently shuttled her long hair with his fingers looked like.

Victor’s low and playful voice suddenly came close to Hedy’s ear.

She soon heard Victor entered the room and felt that he got in bed.

In case he pressed his leg up again as he did last night, Hedy tried to let her feet lean to the side of the bed. Eventually, she made half of her leg almost hanging outside the bed.

However, after Victor went to bed, he just imperiously took the little boy from Hedy’s arms into his. And then he closed his eyes and prepared to be asleep.

It seemed he owned the son while Hedy did not.

Hedy was not going to concede. She got closer to her son and reached out to hug him.

When he finished his words, Victor tried to pick up the little boy and wanted to turn over to sleep.

But the little boy reached out and held Hedy’s arm in a daze and talked in sleep: “Daddy, mommy, a family of three...”

After talking in his dream, the little boy smacked the lips and fell asleep again with his hand still holding Hedy.

Seeing what his son did, Victor’s eyes got gloomy. It seemed that even though his son was very close to him, he still could not replace the position of the child’s mother in his heart. He decided to be more patient and take his time to become his son’s first choice.

The next morning, after usual methodical toilette, Hedy went to the company for work.

As soon as she entered the company, she found that everyone was staring at her like she was some kind of rare treasure.

Feeling the scanning looking of Hedy, Jeffrey quickly raised his head and explained: “On that day you went to meet Mrs. Thomas, after you left, Mr. Moore came here to find you. That’s how it goes.”

The receptionist sighed in a kind of intoxication: “Mr. Moore is so handsome! I’ve never seen such a handsome man in my life before.”

“If all the men on the street are so handsome and sexy, the girls will have to wear diapers to be around them.”

“Why?”

And then there was another burst of laughter.

Hedy considered herself lucky that Jeffrey was the only one in the company that knew about the relationship between Victor and her son. Otherwise, she will be discussed in public opinion more badly than now.

“Hedy, since you are dating with Mr. Moore, don’t let him slip through your fingers! Listen to me. You should get pregnant and have a beautiful baby for him. Then of course you are a part of their family, and you will be Mrs. Moore at that time.”
