Chapter 236 Good Performance
Chapter 236 Good Performance
When Jasmine Harris comes in, Lucien Gray and Nina Morrison are still smiling and Nelson is holding
Nina Morrison’s neck. The scene is so sweet.
Jasmine Harris fights down her jealousy and manages to keep a smile on her face, “Good morning,
Lucien, Nelson!”
She ignores Nina Morrison.
Nina Morrison doesn’t realize. Lucien Gray’s arms have released from her waist and he greets Jasmine
Harris in a light voice, “Jasmine, why are you here so early? Have you had breakfast?”
Nina Morrison gazes at Lucien Gray’s loosened arms and suddenly realizes that he is Jasmine Harris’s
boyfriend.
They will be engaged next month.
She is the third stepping in between them.
Nina Morrison puts down the peeled egg and smiles at Nelson, “Nelson, Auntie Morrison is leaving.
Have a good rest!”
As she says, she hopes Lucien Gray would ask her to stay.
But Lucien Gray just moves from the bed silently so she could go past.
Nina Morrison feels her heart is blocked. She is about to go past Lucien Gray to get her bag on the
sofa when Nelson cries, “Auntie Morrison, don't go! I want you to stay with me!”
Jasmine Harris stares at Nelson’s little hands clutching Nina Morrison. Her beautiful face contorts
because of jealousy.
“Nelson, Auntie Morrison has something else to do, let her go. Your father and I will stay with you.”
Pretending to be tender, Jasmine Harris walks to Nelson and reaches her hands out to stroke his little
head.
“No! I don’t want you! Go away! I just want Auntie Morrison!” Nelson pushes Jasmine Harris's hand
away and weeps. His face is full of tears. NôvelDrama.Org content.
Nina Morrison couldn’t bear to look back and says to Nelson gently, “Honey, auntie is just going out to
run some errands, auntie will visit you in the evening, ok?”
“No! No! I woke up last night, and my daddy said you were asleep, and I couldn’t disturb you. If you
come tonight, I will be asleep again!” Nelson holds Nina Morrison’s hand tightly and refuses to let her
go.
Jasmine Harris feels like there is a thorn in her heart, which makes her breathe so hard! It turns out that
Nina Morrison spent the night here!
No matter how well-mannered Jasmine Harris is, she finally burst out. She looks at Lucien Gray, and
says with shrill voice instead of her usual sweet, “Lucien, Nelson is messing around, and you don’t do
something? Besides, Nina Morrison is the one who hurts Nelson. Instead of blaming her, you let her
approach Nelson. Why are you so unreliable? Don't you forget, I’m your real girlfriend! Nina Morrison
comes up like a sticky note!”
Nina Morrison stays where she is. Her thin shoulders tremble slightly. Next to the young child, she
really wants Lucien Gray to stand up for her and tell Jasmine Harris that she is the one that he loves,
it’s Nina Morrison!
Lucien Gray, however, just leans over and pulls Nelson’s hands away, “Nelson, Auntie Morrison has
something to do and she has to leave. You couldn’t cry and make noise.”
Nelson has always been a little afraid of Lucien Gray. Hearing his harsh tone, Nelson stops asking Nina
Morrison to stay. He just keeps his head down and cries as hard as he could.
Nina Morrison looks at Lucien Gray in disbelief. This is the man who, a few hours ago, was doing the
intimate thing with her that only the lover can do, and now, when she is humiliated by another woman,
he doesn’t even have the courage to stand up for her!
If this is love, it is so mean, so worthless!
Jasmine Harris looks at Nina Morrison’s cold eyes and a triumphant smile emerges on her lips, “Miss
Morrison, see you later.”
The order to leave is so obvious. Nina Morrison turns at a loss. She walks to the sofa, picks up her bag
and heads for the door.
Her back is straight from beginning to end.
Lucien Gray can’t give her the dignity she needs. She can gave it to herself.
Looking at the back of Nina Morrison, Lucien Gray’s veins on his forehead jump violently.
Jasmine Harris sits by the hospital bed smilingly. She throws the egg which is peeled by Nina Morrison
into the trash can, and picks up another egg to peel.
She is not skillful in peeling eggs, and peels the egg into pieces, which looks very ugly. She hands the
egg to Nelson, “Nelson, here, eat the egg. Auntie peels it for you!”
Nelson doesn’t want to eat the egg that she peeled, but he is afraid that Lucien Gray would get angry.
So he holds the egg in his hand and tears come down, washing the egg into white.
Jasmine Harris knows that Lucien Gray hates Nelson crying. She sees Nelson’s tears and feels angry.
She hopes that Lucien Gray would be mad at Nelson and slap him on the face.
Lucien Gray takes Nelson’s egg gently and tosses it in the trash, “All right. Don’t force yourself if you
don’t want to eat it. Tell daddy what you want to eat and daddy will get it for you.”
Nelson pouts and mutters in a very low voice, “I want to eat the egg that Auntie Morrison peels for me.”
Lucien Gray frowns and says nothing. Jasmine Harris couldn’t help and says, “Nelson, what’s good
about Nina Morrison? She can you get you to be so devoted to her. Your father and I are getting
engaged next month, and I’ll be your mother, you and me are the family. Do you understand?”
Nelson shakes his head, losing control, “"I don’t want you! I want Auntie Morrison!”
Jasmine Harris looks at Lucien Gray complainingly. She pretends to be a victim and tears fall sown,
“Lucien, I give my heart to Nelson, but he won’t accept me. I know you have a history with Nina
Morrison, but it’s unfair to me that you’re so close to her! Lucien, do you really don’t care about me,
have you ever considered my situation?”
Jasmine Harris acts realistically in her portrayal of a woman who suffers the pain for love.
Lucien Gray looks at her tearful face, the temperature in his deep eyes has lowered more. After a long
time, he says word by word, “Don’t worry, the engagement of next month will be held as
scheduled!”
