President Williams Woos His Ex-wife Again

Chapter 11 Great Pain

Chapter 11 Great Pain

“Oh my god. Aaron, help me!” Kathy alarmed.

But Beth was so crazy because she wished Kathy could shut up her mouth all the time.

Just before the moment infusion bottle was going to fall on Kathy, Aaron ran to protect her in his hugs

from the hurt from infusion bottle and the iron frame which were finally knocked on the back of Aaron,

making a sound of ‘boom’.

With the sound, the fragments of the broken bottle scraped his skins on his neck. Then, Aaron’s

expression changed because of pain.

Seeing Aaron protecting Kathy with his body, Beth stood still with hands trembling. “Why?” She couldn’t

understand his behavior.

A few moments later, she went clumping towards Aaron.

“Aaron, are you fine? I’m sorry, so sorry,” She apologized. Actually, she was the person weaker than

Aaron but maybe she had been in dumb. She just looked guiltily at him.

She saw the bloodstain on his neck, which would become blurred. She couldn’t stop crying for his

injury.

Aaron turned to look at her coldly with frowning. To his surprise, the chilly sensation on his face

scattered at the moment of seeing her red eyes, full of his image and the care about him. But what she

said later gather those chilly sensation again on his face.

“I’m not lying, I was pregnant. Why couldn’t you believe me only once?” Beth choked.

Hearing her repeated explanation, Aaron waved away Beth’s hands like a cold-blooded man and said,

“Don’t touch me! You pest! Stop lying and you really made me disgusted.”

He said that she was disgusting. Beth couldn’t believe this. She froze and gradually wasted all her

energy.

Staring at his handsome look, she smiled, “Aaron, how can you say that? You didn’t treat me like this in

the past. Don’t you remember...” Then, she got into their wonderful memories.

A day, in Cherry Orchard of Taylor Town, young Aaron and young Beth first met each other. Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

A teenage boy, very fair, in a white T-shirt, stood under a cherry tree. Spring breeze wafted across him

and the sunlight shined to him, which made the boy a light or a wind, warming young Beth’s life.

He looked at Beth on the tree and smiled, “Hey, little girl, is there anyone bullying you?”

She was just suffered a domestic violence and had no place to go, so she could only hide on the cherry

tree and cried full of sores on her body. Now, she saw a person warmer than sunlight. That was Aaron,

“If you are timid, why do you climb the tree? Don’t cry. Just jump down and I can catch you. But don’t

do this again, OK?” This warm-hearted boy looked gently at her and opened his arms towards her.

The boy was in voice mutation, so his voice sounds a little hoarse but gentle which made her cry today

when she recollected it.

Then, she followed his advice and jumped down. Well, the boy did really stand there still and caught

the little girl in his hug, bur the girl on the opposite squashed all his cherry.

Considering that it was getting dark, and there were many snakes and mice, he sent her home in

person. They saw the sunset on the way which was the most beautiful scenery Beth had seen until

today in her life.

Before they separated from each other, the young boy asked her name and smiled, “Beth, what a nice

name! Are you still painful?”

But he didn’t tell her his name because he thought they would not see each other anymore. Later, she

heard of his name, Aaron, from others.

And since then, he never recognized him and never came to the Cherry Orchard. He suddenly broke in

her life and suddenly disappeared forever. Everything was like a dream. Of course, he, should be the

most wonderful dream in her life.

A cold voice brought her back to reality from her happy memories. “Are you sick or something?” Aaron

was annoyed and pointed his finger at Beth, “How could I remember such a malicious woman like you.

I only regret for knowing you. And now, get out of here!”

‘Regret for knowing,’ these few words stung her so deeply that she couldn’t breathe.

Even though, she was not willing to leave, just looked at him in distress and said, “I’m so sorry. I did not

mean to hurt you, definitely not, and could you please let me check your wound?”

Then she moved to check but was pushed away by Aaron again who was now out of patience.

Actually, Beth was so weak that she fell down without any more energy after suffering such a powerful

push of Aaron, so in a subconscious, she held herself with her hands on the floor full of glass shards

which cut her fingers with blood seeping out. But she couldn’t feel any sense of pain even if she was

bleeding.

She just stared at him like an idiot, “Believe me. I won’t hurt you, because you are the best person I

have ever met.”

“Get out!” Aaron scolded her again.

But now she was too weak to scramble up, so she took one piece of ceramic chip on her side.

Noticing this, Aaron shouted, “What the hell you want to do again. Don’t hurt...” not until he finished his

words, he was shocked by what Beth did later.

Yes, Beth smiled with determined eyes and tried all her energy to take the piece of ceramic chip to

gash one of her own arms. Her original pale face now became even more pale and her eyes became

redder even than the color of the blood from her arms.

“Are you mad?” Aaron was going there in a subconscious.

Beth’s lips quivered because of pain but she still murmured, “I did not mean to hurt you really. I

preferred it’s me not you that are hurt. Aaron, did I make you in pain? Are you still painful?” she wept

with a smile.

Aaron was so shocked. He seemed to have predicted what she was going to do next, so he rushed

there. But it was late. Beth gashed her another arm.

Then, blood was pumping out of her wound.

She just cried, “Now, I’m in pain as you,. Could you please don’t blame me and don’t be angry please?”

At this moment, Aaron was astounded with a little astonishment mixed with it.

‘Is she crazy or she did love me so much?’ he thought.

“You don’t want me and our baby. It’s fine, but you can’t deny that I do love you so much.” Beth

continued. In her view, she was not willing to see Aaron hurt, and she could lose all her dignity and life

in this love, so she cared nothing about her pain but only his.

Here, Kathy noticed that Aaron was touched, so she hurried to warned him indirectly, “Oh, Beth, what

are you doing? I have told you that I won’t blame you for knocking on me and making me lose my baby.

You just need to kneel to apologize to us. There is no point for you to hurt yourself. Why are you so

hard to yourself? And even if you tried to ask Aaron back to you, please don’t hurt yourself, or our

parents would feel bad.”

Yes, Kathy always managed to say the wrong thing. In this way, she could warn Aaron that Beth was

acting with a strategy to win him back.

Getting Kathy’s warn, Aaron recovered his coldness and sneered with his hands pressing her wound,

“Such a good strategy, and I’m almost cheated by such a liar of you. Damn it, what a perfect acting and

why don’t you join in entertainment circle?”

Now, Beth’s conscious had been faint, but the pain from her arm forced her to awake. Even though,

she still couldn’t hear clearly what Aaron said and was almost in trance.

But when her vision began to blurred, she regarded him as the young boy. And then, she recalled his

gentle voice, ‘Just jump down and I can catch you’. She was attracted by something and became so

impetuous to raise her head and kissed on his lips.
