The next morning Elizabeth woke up with severe pain around her body. She batted her eyes due to the brightness of the morning sun as she opened her eyes and turned to the other side of the bed to see that she was on bed alone.

“I must have over slept, where has he gone so early” Elizabeth mumbled in a sigh as she tried sitting up but rather felt a sharp pain around her body and in-between her legs, she hissed in pain as she forced herself up “The fuck!” She muttered frustratedly.

She stretched her hands to her phone grabbing it “it’s just 8am why is he already out? Where has he gone so early” she mumbled audibly as she swung her leg down the bed. She stood up tiredly and tried taking a step but the soreness in between her legs caused her severe pain, making her remember her tragic encounter with Edde the previous night.

She limped towards the bathroom to have a quick hot bath to reduce the soreness she felt, after taking her bath she slipped into a simple pajamas and grabbed her phone “hope Edde won’t rip off this clothe tho” She mumbled as she limped out of the room, she was kinda worried as she hasn’t seen or heard from Edde “I shouldn’t care about him, he doesn’t deserve it” Elizabeth said as her phone beeped and vibrated on her hand she checked the screen to see that it was a text from Edde.

I’m at work, needed to sort things out quickly, I will come back soon to take you to the hospital.

She read inaudibly and rolled her eyes, she boredly headed to the pool as her eyes caught her lingerie floating on the water, Elizabeth gasped in shock as the sudden wave of embarrassment hit her.

“How on Earth did I forget this!” She hissed in embarrassment, face palming herself “The hell! Edde caused this mess!… I really hope the guards haven’t seen this, which I’m sure they definitely have!” Elizabeth muttered as she grabbed the net used in cleaning the pool water and fished out the lingerie.

She squeezed out the water from the dripping soaked lingerie as she hissed in anger “I will just go make me something to eat before it’s too late” she mumbled as she limped back inside the mansion.

Edde sat on the swivel chair as his eyes focused on the emails his P. A Nelly showed him on the laptop “How sure are you that these companies won’t dupe us with fake collaboration?” Edde asked coldly, raising his eyes to his P. A who stood in front of him quietly with her hands behind her.

“Uhm, Sir we can simply accept the collaboration invitation from Norbz and Fitz hence they are tested and trusted” She clumsily suggested shrugging her shoulder “And reject the offer from the rest of them” She added.

“Hmm, Yeah Norbz and Fitz are genuine companies so, just go do your job” Edde said pushing the laptop back to her “And, Nelly what is that in your mouth? How many times do I have to warn you about chewing gum on duty?” Edde asked, making Nelly freeze at the spot she stood, “Take it out Now and leave my office” Edde ordered coldly as she spat the gum into her palm and hurried out of the office.

Heaving a sigh of relief Edde took the Air conditioner remote and increased it as he placed his legs on the table and leaning his back on the swivel chair, he was obviously tired after a long night watching Elizabeth sleep and making sure she was comfortable.

Edde has never felt guilty to that extent before and he sincerely felt bad with the condition he left Elizabeth, at some point he feared that she was gonna lose the baby due to the way she shivered.

Shutting his eyes tightly and trying hard not to think of Elizabeth, her painful moans and pleas kept hunting his brain as the scene kept replaying in his head.

The vibration and ringing of his phone interrupted his thoughts as he sighed tiredly grabbing his phone, his eyes widened in shock on seeing the caller’s ID as he hesitantly swiped to the answer icon.

“Sadie, why did you decide to call today?” Edde said in a low tone, hopefully she hears him.

“Come on Edde Loxley! We haven’t seen or called for two years and I am sure you missed me alot, I am back to London!” Sadie said in a cheerful squeal as Edde sat up in a rush, he knew how bad it would be for him and Elizabeth if she’s back… Sadie is fucking clingy around him.

Sadie Hat-field was Edde’s ex-girlfriend until she cheated on him with her boss, she was his high school sweetheart! She was the first woman he ever loved, even after the cheating incident he still loved her so much.
