“Settle down dear, I’ll tell the maids to get you water..” Naomie said helping Adia to pull off her coat, as the house was warmer,
“Thanks” Adia chuckled, sitting on a chair, looking round the house which was so quiet, with no soul passing by, it was built just the way Sebastian’s house was, and built on top of a mountain also.
“Have this..” Naomie, offered as a maid, handed a glass of water to Adia.
“Thanks..” Adia same d gulping it down in one go, having walked for a pretty long time.
“You look like you enjoyed your time sight seeing..”
“Yes sure, I had a good time..”
“Why didn’t Sebastian come with you? I’m going to spank him for leaving you all alone, to walk freely among vampires..” she said as Adia chuckled sheepishly.
“Actually..” she began,
“I left the house without anyone taking notice..” she confessed,
“Huh..” Naomie raised a brow at her,
“Are you kidding me!!” She squealed,
“Yes, and I don’t want to go back there, at least not now..”
“But why? Is anything the problem?” Naomie asked concerned,
“Not really, it’s just that I keep having endless fights with Sebastian, so I just need some alone time for myself..”
“I see,” Naomie nodded meaningfully,
“I hope he’s not…”
“No, no, no, Seb doesn’t treat me badly, it’s just a casual misunderstanding, he never understands my plight, and sees no right in anything I say or do..” she complained, though their marriage was contacted, they’re still married, that’s the thing that matters here.
“I’m sure you already know about my situation, as it is now?” She asked, as she felt free to open up to Naomie.
“I don’t want to die..” she blurted out feeling a lump in her throat, each time she’s reminded of that, she usually feels a discomfort at the depths of her stomach, she doesn’t want to be reminded of that.
“But each time I come up with something to help, he just flares up at me, you know today, he said I’m a very big problem, how dare he?, It’s not my fault that things came to this..” Adia voiced out feeling pained, he only hurts her, how inconsiderate.
“Come here..” Naomie mouthed, placing Adia’s head on her shoulders as she patted her back softly.
“I’m sure your husband loves you a lot..” she stated,
“Cares not love, his heart already belongs somewhere else..” Adia scoffed, she has long come to a conclusion that Sebastian only cares for her and it’s only because of her situation.
“Look Adia, I’ve known Sebastian long enough before you even did..” she muttered Reminiscing on the old days
“By the way he treats you anyone that knew Sebastian before can tell he loves you, you see after Aisling died, he treated women like trash, he had no regard for women, trust me when I say this, you’re the only woman he has treated with this much care since he lost Aisling..” Naomie informed,
“Have Sebastian ever scolded you, his words sting..” Adia rolled her eyes, she could confess that Sebastian had changed a since the first time the met, he literally locked her in that house for a whole month, the first time she arrived, and left for that month, then when he finally returned he was so cold and cruel to her, before she started noticing some changes in him, he has actually changed a lot.
“That’s how marriage is dear..”
“I don’t feel as if we’re married, he tells me nothing….” Adia was interrupted be a maid who came running in.
“Mi lady..” she bowed,
“Master Sebastian is outside demanding for his wife..”
“I’m going nowhere, tell him to leave..” Adia folded her hands across her chest, she’s not going to move an inch.
“Ma’am..” the maid stuttered with a terrified look on her face.
“Adia, I think you have to go and see him..” Naomie said softly, but Adia who nodded negatively, adamantly.
“You know how Sebastian can be, just go and see him, I’ll come with you..”
“Alright, but I’m going nowhere with him, I’ll just tell him to leave…” Adia agreed, knowing how irrational Sebastian can act, she doesn’t want him to do something stupid here.
“Sure, you’re welcomed here..” Naomie smiled, leading Adia to where Sebastian was.Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
“Sebastian baby..” Adia heard a sultry feminine voice immediately she stepped into the sitting room, she looked up to see a blonde woman, placing a kiss on her husband’s cheeks, wrapping her hands around his waist playfully.
“Seriously…” Adia mumbled, jealousy flooding her, and Sebastian didn’t even attempt to push the woman away and looked comfortable around her.
“That’s Marina, a good friend of Sebastian..” Naomie deadpanned on the word good friend sensing Adia’s anger and jealousy.
“This is the same thing I’m talking about, who allows any random woman to kiss him…”
She muttered, it was as if Sebastian sensed her presence, as he suddenly flew his gaze to where Adia and Naomie stood, he immediately removed Marina hands that were around him, pushing her away slightly, as he quickly walked to where Adia stood.
“Where were you?” He asked angrily standing in front of her as Naomie stepped away from them.
“As you can see..” Adia muttered with a sneer.
“Why did you leave without telling anyone?” He questioned,
“I didn’t want to be a problem to a certain someone..” she uttered sarcastically,
“Let’s go home..” he stepped forward attempting to hold her, but Adia stepped backwards avoiding him.
“Don’t touch me please, and politely use the door, you’re not welcomed here”
“Sebastian dear..” Marina chimed in, walking to where they were, as she wrapped her hands around his.
“Who’s she?” She referred to Adia, who glared at her.
How dare her interrupt their conversation, who does she think she is to hold her husband, Adia thought angrily,
“I’m his wife” Adia responded before Sebastian could say anything.
“And as you can see, we’re having a couples discussion, so step back..” she glared, removing Marina’s hand from Sebastian as she held it instead.
“How dare you..” Marina stepped forward ready to launch at Adia, but was held back by Sebastian,
“You heard her, step back and don’t you ever try to threaten her again, ever..” Sebastian warned, as Marina stepped back trying to contain her rage, as she had just been embarrassed.
“Let’s talk inside..” he said, taking Adia to one of the rooms.
