When Madelyn walked into the house, she found Camila sitting on the sofa with a dull expression.
Her eyes were red. It seemed like she had cried a while ago.
Madelyn looked around and asked, “Camila, what happened? Where’s Dad?”
Camila Logan was the second wife of Madelyn’s father.
Camila lashed out when she heard Madelyn’s question.
“Daniel is so ungrateful and ruthless!!!”
“Several years ago, when the Campbell Group was in crisis, you didn’t leave him. Now the situation
finally got better, but he dumped you and even wanted to send your father to jail. Your father is now
detained.”

When Madelyn ended the call, Camila lashed out.

Madelyn looked down at the ground.

Camila was a sensitive woman.
When she smelled the alcohol from Madelyn and noticed the male jacket on her shoulders, she
realized what had happened.

It was not easy for Madelyn to meet Benjamin.
In the hall of Bravo Legal Firm, the female receptionist said in a polite yet alienated tone, “Sorry, Miss, I
can’t let you go upstairs if you don’t have an appointment.”

her and focused on sending his client to the door.
He acted properly and shook hands with the woman to bid farewell.
The woman said in a coquettish voice, “Mr. Clark, thank you for your hard work. Otherwise, I won’t be
able to divorce him and divide his property so smoothly. You have no idea about how mean he was to
me after he got his new lover.”
Benjamin smiled calmly and said, “That’s my duty.”
The woman then asked proactively, “Mr. Clark, would you like to have a drink with me tonight?”
Madelyn landed her gaze on the woman. She thought that that woman did have a wonderful figure that
many men couldn’t refuse.
But Benjamin was not an ordinary man.
He raised his wrist to check the time and then declined, “Sorry, I have an appointment tonight.”
