Painful seduction

Cindy’s Ghost

She sat still waiting for her as she constantly looked outside and glanced at her wrist watch. Luckily, she was seated in a place where she could have a clear view of everything happening outside, and also be able to see anyone who enters and leaves the coffee shop. She let out a hard sigh feeling anxious and frustrated, she had stayed here for almost an hour and she hadn’t seen Cathy. She only hoped Cathy wasn’t playing any games with her, she was surely going to teach her a lesson if this was a trick. It was shocking how the same person she badly wanted to meet was now the same person she had wished not to see.

” Ma’am do you still need more coffee or should I get another cup?”

She turned to look at the face of the same waiter that served her the first cup of coffee when she entered.

” I’m not done with this. Sorry I’m just preoccupied.”she explained as she tried to sip the coffee. Luckily it was warm, she better drink it up before it gets cold

“, No problem ma’am but I will advise you to take the coffee now because you won’t like it once it’s cold. It tastes better once it is drunk hot.” She explained with a charming smile Cindy loved.

” Sure, I will. Can I ask a question?”

“Of course ma’am.”

” How long have I been here?”

“Close to an hour ma’am.” She answered and bowed before leaving after getting the hand signal from her.

Thank goodness I’m not imagining things, she muttered to herself.

But what was really keeping Cathy from coming, she said she was going to come soon and it was close to an hour and she was still not there. Worried that Cathy might not come and is only playing games with her, she decided to call her.

She dialed her number and it was switched off.

She stayed for another hour and decided to dial the number again, it was also off. It got to her nerves and she decided to confront Cathy about this.

No wonder Cathy sounded hateful when she called earlier, she thought.

But what could make her hate her so much especially when they had only met once.

She called the waiter for her bill and paid immediately.

She was going to meet Cathy face to face and confront her about her actions today but she didn’t know where Cathy lived. Maybe she was not sure.

” Can I ask another question, waitress?” She asked, calling the friendly waitress.

” Sure ma’am. You know Cathy Chester?”

” Yes… that’s you ma’am.”

What did she mean by that? Cindy thought to herself.

That was when she remembered that she was dressed up as herself, Cindy had deliberately forgotten the mask at home. She had made up her mind to tell the truth to her sister, every single truth and was ready to face whatever judgement.

“I’m not Cathy. I’m her twin sister.”

” I don’t understand ma’am. I thought her twin sister was dead.”

“It’s a long story. I need her address. I really need to see her.”Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

“Of course, she lives on 16th avenue. You can find it without difficulty. It’s an expensive and famous house after Chester’s mansion.”

Cindy smiled and thanked her before leaving. She got into the car and drove off immediately, she was so furious that she didn’t want to take any calls or try to talk to Cathy. She was going to get the truth from her, that too face to Face.

Just like the waitress described it, it wasn’t difficult to find. It was really a beautiful and magnificent building, she somehow wished she was able to live here, especially Rhea. Rhea had always fantasized about this kind of home, talking about Rhea she was yet to receive a call from her, she was hoping Rhea will call when she gets home for the house keys so she can pack her boxes.

She got Inside, and the security guards were more shocked to see her. She was surprised they let her come in, before now during the drive she had thought of a plan to enter. The Chester’s family was the richest in the city so she knew how strict the security will be. Luckily, looking exactly as her sister had made things easily for her. Now all she wanted was to see Cathy and give her a piece of her mind.

” You’re back ma’am. With a different Car ? Did something happen?”.

Cindy said nothing as she was confused, did Cathy really leave the house to see her.

Well…there was only one way to find out and that was by going Inside.

She avoided the questions thrown to her by the guards and entered the house luckily it wasn’t locked.

The sitting room which she entered first wasn’t empty. From outside she heard someone arguing, she entered inside hoping to see Cathy .

Immediately she got inside, her eyes met with Nelly first before a middle aged man. She recognized Nelly as her cousin after all they met once. The other man, who she hadn’t seen before but could swear his face looked familiar, looked at her shocked. Cindy looked around to see if Cathy was around but she couldn’t see her in sight.

” Where’s Cathy? I want to see her now!” Cindy thundered in anger.

No response. The duo stood frozen to their feet, the middle aged man’s mouth wide open. It took Cindy a long time to adjust to the reality that they thought she was a ghost since they had presumed she was dead.

Mr. Anderson watched her with two of his fingers pointing towards her, making her anxious. She didn’t know what was going on. Moments passed and the next second he was down on the ground holding his chest like he was suffering from a heart attack. Cindy was so scared that she rushed to where he was, he pointed to her again and this time his eyes closed and his breathing stopped.
