Serenity tried to break free from the man’s grip but to no avail. His hand merely gripped her tighter.
“I just think it’ll be a hassle to return the coat. Besides, it’s hot right now, so my shirt will dry in no time,” replied Serenity. “That means you’re okay with people looking at you like this?” his eyes skimmed over her as he said that.

“I’ve never thought of myself as a gentleman!” Lucas forcibly draped the coat over her. “The way you look right now, you’re increasing your chances of getting harassed.”

Lucas laughed at himself. Usually, he was the one who rejected others, but this woman had rejected him over and over again.
He sighed and gave her a choke. “Either you go back wearing my coat or you buy a new shirt and change into it. I don’t want to see you going back in this state.”
Serenity was about to retort when Lucas added, “I’ll keep you here until you take one of the two options. Let’s see who runs out of patience first!”
