“Really?” Jackson’s gaze darkened. “Don’t they know that I’m your boyfriend?”
“Maybe, but I’m pretty sure they know by now,” replied Serenity.
After returning to the Valor Residence, Jackson found a first–aid kit and treated Serenity’s wound himself.
“Would you like me to deal with your father and stepmother?” he asked.
If it weren’t for the fact that Grayson was her biological father, he wouldn’t have wasted his breath asking her this. He would have wiped them off the face of Solaria without any hesitation.
