Chapter 1207 Surrender

Chapter 1207 Surrender

"Idiot! You hit the wrong person!" Amos was in a towering rage.

Darren sneered. "You still haven't understood that I have been lying to you. Who is the idiot?"

"You!" It was only then that Amos realized how absurd it was to enter into an agreement with Darren.

He felt a sharp pain in his heart and spat out another mouthful of blood.

"You bastard. You tricked me!"

Whoosh!

Darren flew over and kicked Amos' belly.

"Cut the crap. You have thirty seconds to pledge your belief in the Conflicting Chief God, or you'll die."

"Humble Defiant Master, I would rather die than be your believer," Amos replied. Contempt glimmered

in his eyes as he glared at Darren.

"You have a backbone. That is good. What about you?" Darren turned and walked toward Wilson.

"I won't believe in you. Never!"

"Okay." Darren condensed his blade and sword intents into a pair of dark red blade and sword, and

hurled them at Wilson.

At that moment, Wilson felt like he was falling into a dark abyss. As he believed that he was close to

death, his fear reached the extreme.

"Please, please don't kill me!" Wilson's body was covered in sweat, and he screamed.

Darren smiled knowingly and drew back his blade and sword.

"You still have fifteen seconds to make the oath. Your life depends on whether you can make it or not,"

Darren instructed coldly.

"I, Wilson Gui, swear by my soul that I will believe in the Conflicting Chief God for the rest of my life..."

Wilson rushed to make the oath.

Almost instantly, his body emitted waves of gray aura. It was the Power of Belief produced by the

successful conclusion of the pledge.

"You are a good man." Satisfied, Darren walked toward Amos.

"Get lost! I will never submit to a Defiant Master. That would be a blasphemy against my soul!" Amos

roared.

"Then, you die."

Darren didn't want to argue with him needlessly, and he was about to kill him.

"Wait, sir." Wilson suggested as he hobbled over. With a deep sigh, he said, "Sir, let me torture him for

you until he surrenders. Besides, if you kill him, you won't be able to explain your actions to the leaders

of the four major forces."

Wilson had become a believer. Whether he wanted to or not, his soul had to be loyal to Darren. This

was why he began to advise Darren.

"Okay, you can try." After a brief moment of contemplation, Darren withdrew his god's power and

agreed.

"Thank you for giving me this opportunity." Wilson bowed humbly.

Almost immediately, he started torturing Amos using all sorts of extreme methods. However, Amos was

a tough man. He refused to submit even though he knew he might be tortured to death.

"Amos, do you know what this is? You force me to do this. Remember that."

A purple wooden box appeared in Wilson's hand as he spoke. After he opened the lid, he tilted the box

to show its contents. A few bugs wriggled at the bottom of the box.

Amos' eyes widened with fear, and his whole body trembled.

"Ha-ha, are you afraid? Do you want me to use them on you?" Wilson laughed sinisterly.

Amos finally felt terror like never before. He was so frightened that his head throbbed, and his vision

blurred. Those bugs were his worst nightmare.

"What? Do you still want to resist? I'm so sorry that I have to give you a taste of the devouring pain of

your God Character." Wilson's expression turned ferocious, and he licked his lips in anticipation.

"Stop! Please don't! I surrender! I surrender!" Amos struggled with all his might to get away from the

box of horrors. Wave upon wave of fear washed over him, and he couldn't help but cry out.

Before Darren could say anything, Amos swore, "I, Amos Tu, swear by my soul..."

Barely had he stopped speaking, Darren was filled with the Power of Belief.

Since Amos and Wilson were at the low-level of the Star God Realm, their Power of Belief was much

higher than the other gangsters. In just a moment, Darren's black god's power had been significantly

enhanced.

"Darren, someone is coming."

Just then, Lindsay, who had been hiding in the shadows, flew out and warned. Her tone reflected the

concern she felt.

"Why are you here?" Darren asked with a frown. He thought that she had left.

"This is not the time to discuss that. Another leader of the other forces is heading our way." Since her

perception was strong, she was able to determine that the man was a leader at the middle-level of the

Star God Realm.

"Don't panic," Darren instructed calmly. Now that both Amos and Wilson had become his believers, he

could lie about his purpose and they would not expose his deceit. So, Darren wasn't worried at all.

"What happened?"

A cold voice filled with killing intent echoed in the small space.

"Sir, you're here." Wilson and Amos greeted Jefferson Kou, who was one of the leaders of the four

major forces.

"Humph! Why were you two fighting with each other just now?" Jefferson Kou asked. He could sense

that Amos was dying and was curious to learn what had led to this situation.

"Sir, these two guys were fighting because they don't like each other. I happened to pass by, but I failed

to stop them," Darren replied courteously.

Jefferson Kou glared at Darren and questioned, "This is not your territory. Why are you here?"

Darren remained silent. He couldn't think of an excuse that would justify his presence.

"Sir, I invited him to join me for a drink and have some fun. I didn't expect to meet Amos halfway,"

Wilson stepped forward and explained, smiling obsequiously.

"Humph, Wilson, how dare you try to curry favor from other people?"

"You misunderstand, sir. I just wanted to ask Darren how to cast weapons." Wilson was good at lying,

and he appeared sincere, as he explained.

"Yes, sir. I happen to know of several methods with which to make level-seven divine weapons, and I'm

here to discuss them with Wilson," Darren added.

He played along with Wilson. But, in fact, he was already thinking of how to kill Jefferson Kou.

When Jefferson Kou heard Darren's explanation, a greedy light flashed across his eyes. They had just

received the fragments to make the divine weapons, but he didn't know how to cast. He had already

considered hiring outside expertise, albeit at a high price, to produce the weapons. He was thrilled to

hear that Darren knew the methods.

"Tell me!" Jefferson Kou clasped his hands behind his back and ordered.

"Sir, even if I give you the method, you won't be able to cast the weapons. I apprenticed with a cast

master before, so I know how to produce them. I'm afraid that the process is complicated, and even if I

tell you, it will not be possible for you to replicate it.

If you don't mind, I can cast one for you as a demonstration."

"Are you sure that you can make the divine weapon? The consequences will be unimaginable if my

fragments are damaged!" Jefferson Kou threatened.

"I swear. There will be no problem during the casting process. Please inform the other three bosses

that I'll do my best to make the weapons for them, even if I die casting," Darren said.

"There is no need. You can use my materials for testing first." Jefferson Kou continued to glare at

Darren as he communicated through his spiritual sense, "You can only cast weapons for me. Do you

understand?"

An impish grin tugged at the corners of Darren's lips when he received Jefferson's instructions. He had

been testing the man all along as he was fairly certain that Jefferson Kou would want to make the

weapons first and then find an opportunity to attack the other three major forces. Jefferson Kou's order

confirmed Darren's belief.

"Okay, okay, I will do my best." Darren pretended to be humble, but his heart filled with strong killing

intent.

"Well, I see. Wilson's place has a weapon casting room. Let's go there together. Bring Amos with you."

Wilson bowed to Jefferson Kou and led the way.

"Wilson, Amos, heal yourselves on the way. I will need your assistance to fight and kill Jefferson!"

Darren secretly commanded them as they headed to Wilson's territory.

"Yes, sir!" The two men responded with their spiritual sense but their heart fluttered wildly with fear.

They were only at the low-level of the Star God Realm. Even if the woman with Darren joined them,

they were still far from a match for Jefferson Kou. The chances of them surviving this battle were

slim.
