Staying by Ethan's side, Pearl was introduced by Victoria to all the guests.

playboy, no one dared to look down on him.

that Ethan would eventually inherit Louise Group.

Pearl had drunk a lot of wine after rounds of greetings.

"Are you okay?" Ethan helped her to the side to rest. "Don't force yourself to drink anymore. Why did

you drink for every random person who came to toast?"

Pearl rolled her eyes at him by hearing this: "The people who toasted me were all your relatives. Are

they just 'random people'?"

sofa. "Have a rest. Drink some water."

"I'm okay," Pearl leaned back on the sofa with Ethan sitting beside as well. With Katherine's support,

they actually did not need to do anything in the banquet.

Pearl and Richard were quite far away from each other, but the moment their eyes met, they quickly

"Stop pretending," said Ethan as he crossed his legs and peeled an orange in his hand, "I'm sure

you're feeling disgusted seeing both of them in pairs?"

"Why do you sound so decisively?"

Rather than answering Ethan's question, she asked, "What happened between you and Adriana just

now?"

"I don't like seeing a beauty alone. So I just chatted with her for a while." Ethan shrugged.

"But why was Katherine so angry?" Thinking of the situation when she suddenly was pulled out by

Victoria in the lounge, Pearl asked.

Only very serious situations could let Victoria show such a panicked expression, nagging, "Pearl, only

you can save Ethan!"

Although Ethan was the only son of the Louise family, his status in the family was really worrying.

Obviously, the elders of the Louise family loved their daughters biasedly.

Ethan once said that when he was only a little boy, he stole an eraser from Katherine and she beat him

up for wholly three days.

However, Pearl didn't feel any sympathy for him. She considered he deserved it.

Ethan's unreliable relationships caused a severe headache for the entire Louise family, which was why

Pearl was enthusiastically welcomed by them.

It was the Louise family's greatest expectation for Ethan, a playboy who always made his families

worry about him, to marry a girl earnestly. Also, Pearl was a good girl.

Ethan smiled: "I just chatted with her for a while. But when she heard that I'm Ethan Louise, her eyes lit

up. So, I think she isn't as loyal to Richard as you might have thought."

"Well, but this really has nothing to do with me."

"Seriously, if you wanna get back together with Richard, I'm confident that I'll break them apart and ruin

their wedding ceremony." Ethan smiled.

"Don't talk nonsense," Pearl frowned. "After I find out what happened in the past, I will go back to

Maniville."

Seeing Pearl's firm expression, Ethan stopped beating around the bush to test her. "It's good to get

back to Maniville. You'll have more time taking care of the children."

book a room for you."
