Mysterious Little Wife

Chapter 59 Yes, I Do. I'm Seducing You!

Chapter 59 Yes, I Do. I'm Seducing You!

It was a little after six o'clock in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, when Sophia and Lacey returned to the Garrison's house, the servants were busy

preparing dinner.

......

Sophia turned up at around 3 pm.

Lacey, on the other hand, had a full day of classes and had spent some time in the library.

It was already five o'clock by the time she finished everything.

Lillianna had been impatiently waiting in the car. It was six in the afternoon after she had picked Lacey

up and taken her to the Garrisons.

"Where is Uncle Alvaro, Aunt Tilly?" Lillianna walked into the house and immediately noticed Tilly sitting

on the sofa, watching TV and drinking coffee leisurely.

"Lillianna, you're here?" Tilly smiled as she hurriedly waved at Lillianna.

"Aunt Tilly, it's only been a day, but I miss you so much already," Lillianna said while she walked over to

her.

Tilly smiled, and she took Lillianna's hands in hers. "What a sweetheart. Once you marry Sam, you'll be

able to see me every day." Her eyes were as kind as they could be.

"Where is Uncle Alvaro, Aunt Tilly? Why didn't I run into him today?" Lillianna's main reason for coming

was to take Lacey away.

However, she had to see Alvaro first.

"He was invited to a social gathering and would only return after dinner. What's the problem? Is there

something you need to see him about?" Tilly asked with a frown.

Lillianna hastily explained, "No, I was only asking."

She must not be the one to request that Lacey be taken away. Lacey had to say it herself.

Otherwise, she'd look very petty.

"Oh yeah, Lillianna, I went shopping today and took a fancy to a bag. I think it suits you very much.

Let's go take a look and tell me what you think." Tilly took Lillianna by the hand and led her to her

room.

Of course, Lillianna would gladly follow.

After the two left, Lacey was the only one left in the hall.

"Lacey, you're back!" Just then, Theo, who was on the second floor, saw Lacey and shouted.

Lacey looked up and saw Theo walking down the stairs.

Following that, Sophia came out of the study after him.

At the sight of Lacey, she pouted unhappily.

"Lacey, I've been waiting for you. Why are you only back now?" Theo took a few steps forward with his

long legs and was instantly in front of her. He grinned happily.

"Something happened at school today. I got held up." Lacey explained.

"Theo, I don't know how to answer this math problem. Come teach me!" Sophia shouted from the

second floor.

Theo looked at her with a frown. "You can start by answering the next question. I'll help you in checking

later."

Sophia glared at Lacey after hearing that. She then walked down the stairs with her textbook in hand.

"Hasn't Sam gotten off work yet?" Lacey asked Theo as she around the house.

"Sam? Yeah, he hasn't come back yet. He should be back after dinner. His company has been busy

lately!" Theo replied.

Lacey nodded in response.

"Hmph!" Just then, Ms. Garrison had come into the living room. She flung her book onto the table.

Then, sitting down, she poked angrily at her textbook.

Theo couldn't help but frown. He looked over at Lacey and shrugged helplessly.

Unlike him, who was overwhelmed, Lacey smiled and walked up to the young lady. "Which math

problem do you not know how to answer?"

Sophia glanced at her with disdain in her eyes." This one, this one, and this one. Do you even know

maths?"

Lacey pulled a stool over and sat down. She then took a close look at the questions.

After that, she grabbed a pen and began writing.

Not only did she reveal the answers to the three questions, but she also wrote the process on paper.

"Do you get it now?" She asked Sophia.

The latter had her eyes darted between the paper and Lacey. Her doubts grew.

Sophia had requested the three maths questions from a friend's father, a lecturer.

She asked that the questions given had to be extremely difficult.

The main reason was that she wanted to spend more time with Theo while he attempted to answer

them.

In fact, she had all the answers to these questions.

Nevertheless—

How did Lacey solve them so quickly?

"What's the problem? Do you still have trouble understanding the questions? Should I go over them

with you?" Noticing Sophia's bewildered look, Lacey asked again.

"No, it's okay!" Sophia closed her textbook and stood up. "I'm, I'm hungry. Uncle Caleb, is dinner

ready?"

During that precise moment, a respectful voice came from the door. "Welcome back, Mr. Garrison,"

said a servant.

"Sam, you're back!" Sophia dashed over and coquettishly grasped his arm. "I'm starving."

Sam removed his coat and handed it to the servant. He smiled as he gazed at Sophia. "Who could

possibly starve you?"

Sophia stuck out her tongue and smiled playfully.

"Sam, you are off work early today," Theo walked over and greeted him.

"Yeah, I just signed a contract. I've left Asa in charge of the socializing." Sam said as he glanced at

Lacey.

"That's right. Leave those social activities to your assistant. Sam, I'm going to see if dinner is ready!"

Sophia immediately ran to the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Lacey remained motionless by the table.

Gradually Sam approached her.

Then he stopped in front of the table.

The distance between them was a fist's length.

The atmosphere was somewhat subtle.

Neither of the two, however, said a word.

The server immediately poured Sam a cup of tea and stepped back to await his order.

"Sam, you're back?" Tilly and Lillianna spotted Sam as soon as they walked out.

The latter returned his glance with a faint smile in reply.

The smile on Lillianna's lips froze when she saw Lacey and Sam standing at close distance.

"The food is ready. Come and eat!" Sophia shouted.

After that, everyone headed to the dining hall.

Only Tilly sat down first before the others took their seats.

Lillianna naturally took a seat next to Sam.

Lacey, too joined the meal. She sat right in front of Sam.

Theo wanted to sit next to Lacey. Sophia, on the other hand, was alert and sat near Lacey before he

could. "Theo, have a seat," she said as she patted the seat next to her.

Theo frowned.

"What's the matter, Theo?" Tilly, who sat across from Theo, noticed that he was frowning and couldn't

help but ask with concern.

"It's nothing." Theo sat down.

Tilly nodded. "Your parents went back. They were always too busy to stay for a few extra days when I

asked them to. Hence, you have to stay a little longer, okay?"

"Yes, Aunt Tilly," Theo responded.

Then, as he was about to look to the side and peek at Lacey, Sophia shifted and blocked his view.

Theo had no choice but to give up.

Shortly afterward, dinner was served.

Over 20 exquisite dishes were brought to the table by the servants.

The butler brought out a fine wine, opened it at Tilly's command, and poured a glass for each person.

"Cheers!" Tilly smiled and lifted her glass.

Others raised their glasses too and took a sip.

Following that, they began the meal.

Lacey's attention was locked on the wine glass in front of her. She would occasionally pick it up and

take a sip.

Lillianna scowled as she stared at the woman before her. She was fuming with rage.

She mustn't, however, lose her temper. Sophia inhaled deeply then gently placed a dish onto Sam's

plate.

Sam turned his head to look at her.

Lillianna smiled sweetly in response. She then proceeded to pick up another piece of meat and place it

on Lacey's plate. "Don't just drink, Lacey. Have something to eat."

She had the look of the best sister in the world, caring and soft.

Lacey smiled as she looked up at Lillianna and raised her glass. "Thank you, Lillianna."

She took another sip after that.

Tilly gave a slight shake of her head as she looked over at the two. How could two identical twins be so

dissimilar?

Yet, after what Alvaro had told her the night before, she would at least do her husband a favor, even if

she didn't like Lacey.

......

Still, she was going to prove his decision wrong!

Around the dining table, everyone had something on their mind.

Lacey kept her head down and only drank her wine.

The servant next to her saw that she had finished her drink and immediately poured another.

Smiling, Lacey picked up the glass and shook it slightly. Following that, she gave Sam a thoughtful

look. "Sam, I wish you and Lillianna every happiness!"

Everyone paused to look at her.

That came out of the blue!

Why the sudden wish?

"Cheers!" She took a mouthful of bitter alcohol, then grinned radiantly.

Sam flashed an indifferent grin. A gloomy look crossed his eyes as he raised his glass and drained his

drink in one gulp.

Next to him, the servant refilled his glass.

Lacey raised her glass again, this time looking at Lillianna. "Lillianna, thank you for being so 'kind' to

me. I'll repay you one day!"

Again, she gulped her wine in one go.

"Lacey, drink less." Lillianna leapt to her feet, and grabbed Lacey's wrist with one hand. "You can't drink

too much. Stop drinking!"

"Ha!" Lacey gave a chuckle and a nod.

Indeed, she was no good drinker.

Whenever she drank too much, she would spout nonsense.

"Don't worry. I won't drink again after this one." Lacey pulled back her hand. She snatched up her glass

and took another big gulp.

Afterwards, she dropped back to her seat with a red face.

Frowning, Lillianna was embarrassed by Lacey's reckless behavior.

Tilly frowned as well. "Eat more!" she exclaimed, looking at Lacey.

"Okay, Aunt Tilly, thank you." Lacey smiled, but her eyes remained expressionless.

What they didn't know was that wine was good stuff!

For wine would give her courage.

"The food tasted good. It's delicious!" Lacey smiled sweetly. Her eyes glowed like they were bathed in

sunlight.

Sam's hand, holding his fork, came to a halt. He asked, "Is it?" with a grin on his face.

"Yes! Sam, your cook is amazing!" She smiled coyly, and her face was pink.

Suddenly, Sam's breathing heaved. He stared dead into her eyes. His body became rigid.

"Excuse me. I have to go to the bathroom!" Lacey apologized and got up, heading for the bathroom.

Her disappearance seemed to lighten the atmosphere at the table.

However, not long after, Sam stood up too.

"Sam, where are you going?" Lillianna asked subconsciously. NôvelDrama.Org exclusive content.

"I'm going to make a phone call. I'll be back soon." Sam replied indifferently.

"Lillianna, eat more. Look how skinny you are." Tilly hurriedly placed a piece of veggie on Lillianna's

plate.

Lillianna nodded absentmindedly.

Why did she feel uneasy?

Meanwhile, Lacey had her hand on the bathroom sink and looked at herself in the mirror.

Her cheeks were bright red, and her eyes were scarlet.

Suddenly, she burst out laughing.

In the mirror, however, her smile was bitter.

"Bang!" The door burst open just then. Then, it slammed shut again.

A tall figure came rushing in. Sam grabbed Lacey's wrist and pinned her against the door.

"Are you trying to tease me?" She squinted her eyes slightly. The rosy flush on her cheeks added to

her allure.

Sam gave her a hard stare. "Do you even know what you're doing, Lacey?"

It turned out that she had been rubbing her foot against his thigh under the dining table earlier.

Looking up, Lacey suddenly stood up on her toes. She gently smiled as she wrapped her arms around

his neck. "Yes, I do. I'm seducing you!"

"Really? I thought you said I wasn't up to your standards, didn't you?" Sam had the urging to crush her

at this point.

How dare she provoke him over and over again?

Hearing that, Lacey suddenly burst out laughing. Her eyes arched in a wide grin.

"How stingy of you—"

She attempted to kiss the man after saying that.

Sam, on the other hand, was quick to grasp her by the neck. His lips twisted into a cold arc.

Lacey bit her lip and said with a look of aggravation, "Sam, have you gone mad? You turn down those

who approach you. Could it be that you prefer it to be forceful?"

Sam's cold expression turned grim. He lifted her chin and warned in an icy tone, "Lacey, don't provoke

me again, understand?"

"It hurts—" She bit her lower lip. Her voice was shaky and aggravated.

"To defeat someone, you must not only use your brain, but you must also learn to endure. Clearly, you

have not done enough. Otherwise, your mother wouldn't be dead!"

Of course, he knew she wouldn't provoke him without reason.

Something must have happened with her and Lillianna.

What Sam said hit her so suddenly. It felt like an electric current flowing through her limbs and bones.

Lacey shook off his hand on her chin. Her face turned grim.

"You've finally decided to stop acting," Sam said in a sarcastic way.

"Haha!"

Her eyes and lips curved up. For the moment, she looked like an elf in the darkness that would

disappear at the slightest breeze.

"Sam, are you scared?" Lacey asked.

"Scared?" Sam lifted his brows.

"Are you scared that I'll call you sexually impotent?" She beamed.

Sam leaned in with a smile when he heard that. "How many times do you think such provocation will

work?" he asked with a voice low and gruff.

It was clear that Sam wasn't angry.

Instead, he remained impassive.

Lacey raised her eyebrows slightly. Her face became flirtatious, even as her voice became dainty.

"Sam, I have something for you."

Following that, she took out a small packet and gave it to him.

"Pretend I haven't said anything. Well, I wish you good!"

After saying that, Lacey turned around and was about to leave.

But before she reached the door, Sam suddenly slammed and locked it.

He then crushed the stuff in the small packet into pieces and threw it to the floor.

Lacey looked up and saw the anger in his eyes. "Even if you don't like it, don't throw it away. It's

expensive—" she said with a voice as gentle as a kitten.

At that, Sam's eyes welled up with bloodthirsty rages, like a wild beast ready to tear its prey to pieces.

Lacey bent down and picked up the little packet, then wiped them with her hands.

"You have crushed the pills inside. How are you going to—"

Before she could finish her sentence, the man kissed her furiously on the lips.

His other hand ripped open her dress without mercy.

Lacey was taken aback, despite knowing this would happen.

The packet she was holding fell to the ground.

And the box inside slipped out.

On top of the box, it stated, "Ansons, erectile Dysfunction pills."
