I’M WEARING MY lilac-colored dress paired with kitten heels, which is just right for me. My makeup is

also simple, just a light pink lipstick with a blush on and my statement earrings. I just combed my hair

and left some details below my ears.

I smiled at the mirror with satisfaction. I can’t deny that something has changed in my body, but I just

didn’t pay attention to it.

As Peter promised, he picked me up before seven o’clock.

The food arrived immediately at our table. The variety of grilled fish, steaks, mouth-watering salads and

cakes on the table is glittering in my eyes.

“Take it easy, Margaux,” Peter whispered to me.

“Happy birthday,” a familiar voice abruptly resounded in the evening wind.

I glance up at him. Under the dim light, I could see a man dressed in a luxurious suit and a gentleman
