Seeing his father approach, David quickly stood up to greet him.

Nash glanced over and noticed the man's resemblance to Marius. However, he appeared to be in his 50s and seemed to be in better physical condition.

"This is my younger brother, Cade. He has been protecting me all these years," Marius introduced.

Cade entered the courtyard, his eyes landing on Theo before shifting to Nash. Smiling, he asked Marius, "Brother, who are these young men?"

Before Cade could respond, David introduced them, "This is Theo Skye, the eldest son of the Skye family from Jonford. The other man is Nash Calcraft, a descendant of the Young family." Cade's expression darkened, taking on an edge of cold. "I didn't expect there to be any survivors."

"Cade, how can you speak like that?" Marius shot.novelbin

Cade coldly replied, "They caused our family's ruin, yet you're still speaking on their behalf?"

He rarely contradicted his elder brother but personally held a deep grudge on this matter.

"Shut up!" Marius thundered, shooting to his feet in anger.

Cade snorted. Clasping his hands behind his back, he made his way toward the thatched cottage. David shot Nash a hostile glance before following him inside.

Marius' face was full of embarrassment. "Nash, please don't take it to heart. My brother has a temper."

Nash smiled slightly. "It's alright. He spoke the truth."

The Young family's destruction brought disaster upon the Crimson family as well. Their resentment was understandable, so Nash took no offense to the rudeness. Marius sighed, poured another glass of wine for Nash, and asked, "Do you really plan to deal with the Klein family?"

Nash nodded. "How could I not seek revenge when my grudge runs so deep?"

"Do you know how powerful the Klein family is now?" Marius asked, worried. "The Klein family is one of the Ten Families of Capiton, consistently ranking in the top three. Their influence is unimaginably vast."

While Nash had Theo's support, Marius was well aware that the Skye family was significantly weaker compared to the Klein family.

"Do you know how strong Nash is now?" Theo interjected confidently. "He wouldn't say such things if he wasn't absolutely confident."

Marius' eyes flashed with brilliance

as he looked at Nash deeply, but he said nothing more. Since Theo

spoke with such assurance, it meant that Nash had grown to become incredibly formidable. Since he could not avenge his own children, he could only pin his hopes on Nash.

The Crimson family had prepared a sumptuous lunch, featuring roast whole lamb, fish, and some dishes comprised of various grains. Cade and his three sons did not share the table with Nash. Nash did not take it to heart either since he knew that once he eliminated the Klein family, their opinions of him would naturally change.

At noon, the group gathered for a meal.

his bedroom and brought out a hand-drawn map. This map was based on translations made from the text found on the fragments Nash had found. The map, though newly drawn, was still incomplete with the most crucial part still missing.

"The names of the locations on the map are their ancient names. I've translated them into their modern equivalents. The entrance to Dream City is located on an island called the Galo Archipelago. "I've checked all the geographical books but found no such place in the world. To find it, we need to find the remaining fragments."
