My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna)

Chapter 2031

Chapter 2031

Just as I was reeling from my doubts, someone wrapped themselves around my arm. I turned to look to see that it was Anne, she leaned against me and pointed at some women's clothes in the distance. She said, "Mom, let's go check out the clothes over there, that one looks pretty."

I breathed out a sigh of relief and followed her while holding on to Wynn.

Josiah and Evan stood by and watched us from a distance. At first glance, they looked like models who were posing for the shop. They attracted a lot of attention.

Anne had a good eye for fashion. She tried on a few sets of clothes that really matched with her vibrant personality.

When she went to change into another one, I tried to pick out some clothes for to try on.

While waiting for her, I realized that Wynn wasn't in a very good mood.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

I guessed that he must have felt neglected and was unhappy, so I said softly, "Since you're a boy, you have to learn to be a gentleman and let the girls try on some clothes first. When they're done, I'll bring you over to another shop to pick some for

you, okay?"

Wynn's face was blank. He looked up at me and shook his head, "It's okay, Mommy. Someone sends me clothes regularly. I have so many of them, I have more than enough."

Although he wasn't particularly upset, I still felt like something was off.

I smiled and stroked his head, "I'm going to the bathroom. You stay here with Anne and don't run around the shop. Can you do that?"

"Yes, of course!" Wynn replied loudly. He stomped on the ground and saluted, like a small soldier.

Hendrix probably taught him this.

This little boy had been with Hendrix for six years and had developed well in nearly all aspects, but he was still lacking when it came to emotional intelligence. Just like his father, he hid everything in his heart.

Seeing him so confident, I got up to leave.

Walking past the ladies clothing department, I heard Hendrix and Aaron quarreling again.

"...Listen to me, this dress looks the best on you. You will be the most beautiful little princess around."

"That one looks too basic, there's nothing special about it. This one here looks different. It's more simple and nice, showing more of the lively side of a young girl. Aurelia, are you sure you're not going to listen to your daddy's suggestion?"

Good heavens, two men who were over six feet tall, were embarrassing a six-year-old child?

I was just about to step in and rescue Aurelia, when I realized that I didn't have to.

"Hendrix, you should just take care of Wynn. What do you even know about girls?"

"I recall that somebody here only has a son. Do you think you would know more about girls than me?"

"Stop!" Aurelia screamed and

stopped the two of them from

arguing. She then walked forward, grabbed the skirt in Aaron's hand, turned around and took the other one in Hendrix's. She frowned and tried to persuade them like an adult would, "Don't quarrel. I like both of them. You two should behave

yourself. Aunt Emma said you're not supposed to shout in public!"

Hendrix and Aaron looked at each other and instantly shut their mouths.

Aurelia looked at them and nodded with satisfaction, "Be good, alright, I'm going to try on these clothes. Wait for me here....."

"Okay." Both of them answered at the same time.

Aurelia brought the clothes into the fitting room.

As soon as she left, Hendrix and Aaron looked at each other in disgust. They rolled their eyes and turned away from each other with their hands clasped behind their backs.

I was speechless when I saw the whole thing. Only Aurelia could put a stop to this chaos.

After keeping watch for a while and making sure that they were safe, I turned around and walked a little further away.
