Hendrix narrowed his eyes and smiled. "Are you done talking?"

As he spoke, I tried to break free when he wasn't paying attention. I exerted every bit of strength I had just to discover that he hadn't loosen his grip at all. When I struggled, he tightened his grip again.

I glared with my eyes wide and gritted my teeth. "I'm done. You can leave now. This is your last chance."

Hendrix couldn't help but laugh. He shot me a sideways glance and grabbed my hands. "I nearly forgot that I'm the one in control here. It's up to me to decide whether you would get a second chance, isn't it?"

He left me speechless. I gritted my teeth and said, "Are you leaving or not?"

Before Hendrix could react, I shouted, "Help me! Anyone there? Come quick..."

When our lips touched, a burning sensation instantly lit up my entire body. I couldn't move at all, as though I had been frozen.

It wasn't until Hendrix's thick palms touched my waist, that I suddenly sobered up. Out of nowhere, one of my hands suddenly broke free and instantly grabbed onto his hand that was slowly inching its way around my body.

The kiss felt hot and crazy, as if he could swallow me whole.

I warned him as I quickly gasped for air. "Hendrix! I... I'm going to call... call someone!"

Hendrix slowly lost control of his self-restraint and continued. He easily pried my lips apart.

I frowned, then I bit down as hard as I could, and the taste of blood instantly filled my mouth.

Hendrix finally let go of me and got up. There was a look of anger on his face, then sadness. He whispered, "Did I have to say that I wasn't interested in any other woman except for you?"

I only wanted to throw a tantrum, but the moment Hendrix said this, the mood in the room felt stiff.

Just as I was thinking of a response, Hendrix smiled again, he looked particularly fearless. He came close to me again and teased, "I've always remembered my role as a son-in- law. I've been strictly following the rules of a faithful husband for so long, it's time for some fun." Content
