Chapter 1965
Chapter 1965
"Just as long as you like it." Cyril patted Wynn's head. "It'll be troublesome for the two of you to go home by yourselves. I'll get someone to send you guys home."
Just as I was about to say that we had a driver outside, I saw someone walking towards us. I shrugged my shoulders. "It's convenient for us now." The moment Cyril turned around, Hendrix and Evan were standing in front of him.
Freya nodded slightly. "You're here."
"It seems that the relationship between her and Hendrix wasn't a very friendly one. Calling him her "sugar daddy" was probably just a joke," I thought. "Yes." Hendrix calmly replied. He glanced at Cyril, they greeted each other with a nod.
When Wynn saw Hendrix, a broad smile was plastered on his face. "Daddy!"
Hendrix didn't respond. Instead, he looked at the gift bag in Wynn's hand and asked, "What's that you're holding?"
While speaking, he took Wynn's hand, taking the bag from him at the same time.
He did all of this naturally.
"A small gift from Mr. Zimmer," I explained and smiled at Cyril, expressing my gratitude.
Cyril raised his chin arrogantly, looking very proud.
Hendrix shook the bag, and then turned to look at Cyril with a blank face. "Wynn still doesn't know how to control his screen time with microcomputers."
This was true. To Wynn, microcomputers were a close second to Hendrix and myself.
Cyril's eyes widened. "It's still wrapped up. How did you know it was a microcomputer?"
"You're trying to please him. What else could be more efficient than an electronic product?" Hendrix said monotonously, sounding slightly distant and disgusted.
Although his show of distrust was very subtle, anyone who knew him well could tell.
Cyril looked embarrassed. "It's just to make him happy. You don't have to be so uptight..."
Hendrix turned towards me, ignoring Cyril. "Come with me."NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
What a sharp-tongued and supercilious person he was.
"Where are we going?"
Before I could ask Hendrix how he'd managed to find us, he was already taking me somewhere else with him.
Hendrix passed the gift bag to Evan and said flatly, "Take Wynn home."
"Understood," Evan answered.
Hendrix looked down at Wynn. "Go home with Mr. Clark. Daddy and Mommy have some things to do. Be a good boy and wait for us at home."
"Okay." Wynn was very well-behaved, probably because his new microcomputer hadn't been confiscated.
Hendrix was taller than a model
was. Although Wynn was as tall as
my waist, he looked very small
beside Hendrix. The height difference was very obvious. Still, the image of an innocent child and a mature father together was very heartwarming.
However, Hendrix didn't seem to have any interest in such things. Right after he said that, he dragged me towards the door, not even giving me a chance to say goodbye to Freya and the others. Content

I could only say to Wynn while I was being dragged away, "Wynn, remember to listen to Mr. Clark. We won't be long. Bye!"
I didn't want Wynn to think that he would ever be abandoned at any time.
It seemed that Wynn wasn't really bothered by it. He looked at me with a confused look for a moment, then smiled at me happily. Just like that, I was dragged out by Hendrix.
As soon as I entered the elevator, I broke free from his grasp. "Don't take advantage of me. I know how to walk."
Not only did he arrange my time without asking for my permission, he didn't show any warmth to his son after not seeing him for more than half a day. I really wondered, what exactly was worth his

Hendrix glanced at me, not responding to anything I said. He turned his head and pressed the button to the underground garage.
I pulled a long face all the way to the car. Once I sat on the passenger's seat, I asked grumpily, "Can you tell me where we're going now?" Surprisingly, Hendrix answered directly, "The hospital."
