Richest Mogul 1133

Skylar thought Vera’s plan was good, but it seemed Vera never considered that Skylar might willingly allow herself to be used by her.

It seemed that the news of Joe and Lizzie’s engagement, coupled with media coverage, had triggered Vera, making her increasingly irrational.

Vera slammed her phone down. “What a bold move, Skylar!”

She wondered who had given Skylar the confidence and courage to act this way.

Even after Joe had discarded her and Alexander had kicked her out of the team, she still seemed to remain ever so proud. She dared to hang up on her and even refused to listen.

Vera had offered her generous conditions, yet Skylar was still unsatisfied. “Isn’t she being too greedy? Does she want money? Or is she foolish enough to hope for a reconciliation with Joe? Ridiculous!

“What does she think Joe is? Joe has been able to keep his relationship with Lizzie hidden from everyone for so long, so how could he possibly go back to her? Joe even used me as a shield for Lizzie. I’m nothing but a joke now.”

The more she thought about it, the more her emotions spiraled out of control, fueling her anger. She quickly headed downstairs and drove out.

She arrived at Moran Residence.

Upon seeing Vera, the maid immediately said, “Mrs. Martin is out for a few days, Ms. Ruell. If you need anything, you can call her directly.”

That was Molly’s instruction. She really didn’t want to see Vera, who had been coming by frequently. In truth, Molly was at home right now.

Vera glanced at the villa with a cold expression and said, “I’ve come here three times, and she isn’t home each time. Is it just a coincidence? Or is she deliberately avoiding me?”

On the phone, Molly had various excuses to deal with her. Sometimes, she would hang up, claiming the signal was terrible after just a few words.

If Vera couldn’t tell that Molly was purposely avoiding her by now, she would truly be foolish.

“That’s impossible. Mrs. Martin has been extremely busy these past few days. Both she and Mr. Martin are out,” the maid quickly replied.

Vera scoffed and pulled out her phone to find Molly’s WhatsApp.

“Mrs. Martin, if I don’t see you today, I guarantee there will be scandalous news all over

Jipsburg about you and that pretty boy tomorrow. My purpose in meeting you is simple. I want. that statue you have in my house taken away. I don’t want it anymore!”

She didn’t dare touch that statue. For some reason, whenever she thought about sending it away, a terrible headache would strike her, and she would even have nightmares.

Now that she was out of the house and had called Skylar, the mention of a negative item made her break into a cold sweat. The statue must be a negative item.

It would be fine if it had some use, but the fact was that it didn’t. It only made her head throb. There might be more trouble down the line, and she definitely couldn’t keep such a ticking time bomb close

by.

Molly hadn’t replied to her message.

She wasn’t in a hurry anyway. After all, she had dirt on Molly. In Jipsburg, ruining Molly would be a piece of cake.

She just hadn’t wanted to completely sever ties until now. Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

Skylar waited until 10:00 am, and then Joe finally woke up.

He walked down the stairs, looking somewhat haggard and pale.
