Chapter 30 She Should Be Responsible For Me
Chapter 30 She Should Be Responsible For Me
Charles Zhang gasped. He didn't catch on, yet someone had stood in front of him and prevented him
from running away.
"Who are you?" Josie's voice sounded full of nervousness.
When their eyes contacted, one was embarrassed, and one was astonished. They looked to another
place immediately.
Listening to the outside of the movement, the woman walked out. She was puzzled the two people, so
she asked: "Who's him?"
"Hello, aunt, I'm Josie's friend and patient." In case of waiting for Josie's introduction, Charles
introduced himself.
Josie nodded and admitted Charles's words.
The woman looked at Charles's dress. Her face appeared cold emotion.
Josie felt awkward, so she drew her mother's cloth.
"A friend and patient?"
Josie's mother sneered and looked Charles up and down again: "Patient is the patient and friend is the
friend. A friend and patient, what's your meaning? You like our Josie, so you followed her here?"
Hearing the offensive words, Charles thought of Cynthia Lee. He was speechless: whether only he
wore an expensive suit, he could be Josie's friend.
But the woman was Josie's mother. Out of politeness, Charles explained: "Aunt, Josie is my private
nurse. She should stay with me for 24 hours a day. Just now, she said she had something to deal with
and let me wait for her here. But I must be checked tomorrow, so I have to call her to leave."
Charles said as if it was the truth. Josie immediately responded. She caught the woman's arm.
"Mum, I almost forget. I must go. If you need me, call me later."
However, it seemed that the woman didn't let Josie go. She dragged Josie back.
"Josie, you have said you work in a senior private hospital. But who is him?" the woman questioned
angrily.
Josie didn't expose her patient's information, and she thought for a while: "He is my patient. It is none RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
of your business. If you have other things, wait for me next time."
"Wait for you next time? You forgot what I said just now? How much the patient gives you a month?"
Josie didn't know whether Charles heard all the conversations between her and her mother. She was
shamed, so she didn't dare to see Charles.
She tried to persuade her mother: "My salary is enough. Just be quiet. I have said you stay out of my
business."
The woman was quite angry. She wanted to drag Josie back. Meanwhile, Josie staggered suddenly.
Charles quickly caught her in case she fell. However, seeing the condition, Josie's mother pushed
Charles away and slapped Josie.
"You grew up, so you don't listen to me? I don't allow you to work in that hospital. Sun's family gave you
a position, and we agreed. If you disagree, you don't want back home."
Josie's mother shouted at Josie.
Ignoring Charles here, Josie was bitterly disappointed by her parents.
Josie's mother never considered Josie's feelings. She just thought of how to take Josie to Sun's family.
Then she drew Josie to their house. When Josie couldn't get rid of her mother, Charles squinted: "You
have made a full consideration? If Josie can't send me back to the hospital, you could afford the
consequence?"
Charles thought the woman didn't need his politeness.
Hearing that, Josie's mother stopped her step and sneered: "You won't go back by yourself?"
"We have made an agreement when leaving the hospital. If I come across an accident out of the
hospital, Josie should be responsible for me. As the accident, it's up to me." Charles explained
carefully.
Then the woman hit Josie again: "Look, it is your good job. He is your good friend, your good patient."
Charles didn't care about these words. What his purpose was to take Josie away.
Josie's mother saw Charles was not angry. Then she mocked: "I'm not afraid of you. Only if my
daughter falls in love with Mr.Sun, let alone your agreement. To call the police is no use."
Her words sounded like Josie had married Harry.
"I don't know, Mr. Sun. But I know if the agreement is broken, Josie should pay me three times of her
salary."
When mentioned about money, she asked Josie: "How much your salary?"
"Almost 20,000 RMB. I give your five munites, let her go."
Then Charles left. After two munites, Josie appeared in front of Charles.
