"Let's go Rain"! Jax yelled.

"Ok, hold on"! I yelled slipping my converses on and looking the mirror quickly.

I was in a black crop-top, a galaxy blue printed skater skirt with matching suspender things and my

black Converses; while my hair was curled.

I grabbed a leather jacket and ran down the steps and outside.

I got in the middle row of the my dad's escalade.

My dad was in drivers seat, Jax was in passenger, and Ryan sat in the very back row while Joel and I

were in the middle row.

"You look nice, Rain" My dad complimented.

I smiled slightly.

"A way a lady should dress" He said narrowing his eyes at me in the review mirror.

I rolled my eyes and decided to burp just to piss him off.

My brothers laughed and I said "Sorry Dad, but if you haven't noticed I'm not a lady".

He sighed "Neither was your mother".

I smiled proudly to myself.

Joel said "Where is this dinner anyways"?

"Hampton's building" My dad said "I'm sorry to keep you guys in on a Friday, and I will let you leave

right after the dinner; I promise".

We all nodded.

"I love you when you're singing that song yeah, I got a lump in my throat because you're gonna sing

the words wrong" I sang obnoxiously with Joel as Ryan, Jax and my dad looked like they're going to

jump out of the car.

"She's been living on the high shelf.....OOOOOoooooooo, and they come unstuck. Lady running down

to the riptide" Joel and I continued to singing jokingly.

I laughed as Riptide by Vance Joy played.

We pulled up to the glass 40 feet tall building.

We all got out and walked up and a man took my dad's car keys to go park.

"Alright on your best behavior" My dad said "That means you Rain".

I gasped "Why would I ever do such a thing, father"?

He narrowed his eyes at me and walked ahead.

I rolled my eyes behind his back and we walked up to the elevator.

We came to the top floor and walked into a room.

I sat there bored out of mind with my elbow on the table and chin rested on my palm as I stared at the

wall and people around me talked.

"So Rain, I here you're a model"? A lady said that I guess my dad works with.

I snapped out of my thoughts, sitting up straight and said "Uh....Yeah".

"Do you like it"? She asked.

My dad sent me warning looks.

I forced a smile "Ya it's a blast" then she turned to talk to someone else and I rolled my eyes.

Ryan chuckled and whispered in my ear "1 hour left".

I face palmed at how much longer I had to sit here.

I took my fork and a olive and placed it on the end of my fork and accidentally flung it across the room.

My eyes widened as it hit a man in the head.

Everyone looked at me.

I bit my lip "Sorry........"

My dad sent me warning looks.

"Uh, may I please be excused"? I asked.

The adults nodded and I pushed my chair out and stood up and Joel grabbed my hand and pulled me

down to him and whispered "Grab me a bag of chips in the lobby" then placing 5 dollars in my hand.

I smiled and nodded and he winked at me and I winked back then walking out.

I walked down to the lobby and grabbed two bags of potato chips.

I walked up to the cashier and paid for them then, walking away.

I was walking back upstairs when my phone started to vibrate.

I answered "Hello"?

"When are you coming"? Peter asked.

"An hour. I'm stuck at this dinner" I said.

"Ok, but get here as fast as possible" He said and hung up.

I ran up the stairs and walked in and handed Joel the bag of chips under the table.

He smirked and mouthed 'Thank you'.

I nodded and smirked back, mouthing 'You're welcome'.

"Alright, thank you kids, or the good behavior. Except for when you flicked an olive at a buyers head,

knocked over a glass that shattered, and broke the chandelier; Rain" He narrowed his eyes at me.

I bit my lip "Sorry, things....just happen".

I ran into the bar.

I ran threw a bunch of people and saw everyone up by the bar.

I ran up "I'm sorry! I'm here"!

Their heads all snapped towards me with their eyes widening and jaws dropping.

"Rain Thompson in a skirt"!? Will exclaimed.

"O shut up, I was at some fancy dinner" I said rolling my eyes "Plus I was to busy breaking chandeliers

and flicking olives at peoples heads".

They all raised an eyebrow.

I threw on a leather jacket I had.

"So, first order of mission" Vince smirked.

"Have you ever had a drink Thompson"? Ryker asked a smirk appearing on his face.

I bit my lip and shook my head "No".

I mean I've had wine from church when I was like 8.........

The guys all had smirks grow on their faces.

"Well let's go" Ryker said the smirk not leaving his face.

"Guys, let's not get her wasted right now" Liz and Leah said.

They all frowned.

"You guys are messed up" Liz said rolling her eyes.

"Let's go Rain" Leah said as her and Liz pulled me out to the dance floor.

I chuckled and Liz took my arms making me dance in the middle of a crowd of people.

"Hey Babe" A man's voice said from behind me.

I turned around to a guy about 20's with black hair and hazel eyes.

He smirked "Can I buy you a drink"?

"No" I said turning back around so my back was facing him.

"O come on Babe" He said with his hand grabbing my butt.

I turned around and grabbed his arm and twisted it to a 360 degree, and gritted "Don't f*cking touch

me, you ass".

He shook his head and got out of my grip and said "You shouldn't have done that" then grabbing me by

the waist and pulling me away from the bar.

I clutched my fist and pretended to trip and he stomped for a second then turning around to look at me.

I threw a punch right to his face and he stumbled back, then kicking him in the gut and he fell back.

"Hey, you okay"? Neil asked rushing up to me.

I nodded "Yeah I'm fine".

"Here, bottoms up" Ryker said sliding a glass of some alcoholic drink.

I gulped silently and stared at it intensely.

"You go have to chug it" Craig advised carefully.

"Drink it" Ryker said in a deep voice with a smirk stretching across his face.

I picked up the glass and brought the glass to my lips.

I tilted the cup back and the unknown liquor burned my throat.

I chugged it quickly then bringing it away from my lips and setting it down on the bar counter.

I blinked a few times as I became dizzy.

"Nice Rain" Will congratulated.

"HAHAHAH"! I laughed as I stumbled.

"Whoa Thompson" A guy caught me by the arms.

He was hot.

I gasped "O my God"!

"What"? He asked raising an eyebrow.

"You're really hot" I blurted.

His lips tugged up into a smirk.

I gasped again.

"What now Thompson"? He asked.

"Don't tell anyone, but I think I ran over a napkin" I said horrified "That poor napkin"!

He laughed in response.

"What's so funny"? I asked.

"You" He said.

"I should get a job as a comedian"! O said.

"O God, guys she's a lightweight" The guy called over to a group of people.

"Who"? I asked looking around.

The guy looked at me amused.

I watched her amused and my eyes met her piercing blue eyes.

Her phone then started to ring.

She gasped "Where's that coming from"?!?

I chuckled "it's your phone" then I reached into her pocket and grabbed her phone.

I saw it was one of her brothers Ryan.

"Liz, answer this" I called over handing her the phone.

She nodded and put it on speaker "Hello"?

"Where are you"? Her brother asked.

Liz but her lip and said "Uhhhh......I'm at a friend's".

Liz looked at us and shrugged.

"Alex's"? He questioned.

"Yeah" Liz answered.

"Fine but dads going to kick your ass when you get home" He warned.

"Alright. Bye" Liz said and hung up.

"We should get her to Craig's" Peter said.

We all nodded.

We're all sleeping at Craig's place tonight.

"AhahahaAHAHAAHA!! Theirs a ghost"! Rain yelled as she bumped onto Vince from running.

"Thats a wall" Vince said holding back his laugh.

She gave a confused look "what"?

"She's going to have the worse hangover tomorrow" Reece said.

"Who's hangover"? She asked Reece.

He laughed and said "Oh Rain, you'll find out".

"Stop! Stop! Put me down!!" Rain yelled as she smacked me.

I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder as I walked inside to Craig's apartment.

"Rape! Rape! Rape!" She yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Shut the f*ck up!! I'm not raping you" I yelled.

Now the neighbor's are going to think some rape session is going on.

I put her down and she sat on the couch.

"She's a firecracker" Craig patted my back and winked at me.

I rolled my eyes "More like a pain in the ass".

"She'll relax, eventually" Peter said.

Then Rain went running towards the door.

Will caught her and carried her back up the stairs.

She yelled "Let me go! I need to go home!"

"Rain, you can't go home" Will told her as he held a grip on her.

She was crying with tears down her face "But my mom"! She yelled hysterically.

I raised an eyebrow and looked at the guys.

"Rain, your mom is fine" Vince said.

"No! No! She's not!" She said crying hysterically and sliding down the wall with her back then sitting on

the ground and pulling her knees up to her chest.

"Guys, let her relax for awhile" Leah said.

We all nodded and walked out of the room, leaving her to herself.

"What do you think she meant by her mom not being okay"? Peter asked.

"Well doesn't her mom live in California or something"? Neil asked.

Liz nodded "Yeah I think so".
