Chapter 6: CHAP 6 : PREPARING FOR TOMORROW

"You know what? Let's hit the pool! I'm just gonna get changed" Evalyn says as she rushes to her room

"Awesome!" Jax happily grins. Minutes later and Evalyn came back wearing her swim suit. "Sweet!

Let's go!!" Jax exclaims as the duo runs to the pool.

Arriving at the pool, the duo looked at each other and smirked. "Let's rock!!!" the duo shout as they

jump in sync, falling in the water as a big wave of splash rose in the air. Raising their heads in the air to

breath, the duo laugh.

"That was a hit on!" Jax laughed. "You bet it is!!" Evalyn jokes. "What a fun party, mind if I join?" a voice

rang. They look up to see Zion drenched in water. Startled, they stood there frozen. "B-boss! What...

what brings you here?" Jax asks, gulping in nervousness.

"Running away after eavesdropping? When did I raise such children?" Zion wickedly smiled. "Z-zion! It

was Jax who told me to do it!" Evalyn points out. "Hey! You had the same thoughts and you even

agreed!!" Jax retorts. "I'm innocent!!" Evalyn rants.

"I'm innocent too!!" Jax follows.

Zion sighs. "Go do your punishments later. I'll have Fae look for you" Zion says as he turns around to

see Fae in his line of sight. "Fae. You're here" Zion asks in surprise. "Yes, I heard that. I will look out for

them" Fae says as Zion nods before leaving the three.

"By the way, I have news" Fae says as she shows them her phone. "Liam Ghate, son of Jason Ghate.

Kristan Tien, a friend of Liam Ghate. From the International Company" Fae exclaims. "He is what?! The

son of our target?? And the CEO of Fathom's Company and we're just office workers? Fae, I'm so sorry

I'm this stupid!!" Evalyn clasps her hands together, bowing her head before Fae.

"Its fine. And I know you're stupid even without you telling me" Fae says in her monotonous tone.

"That's mean...." Evalyn sobs. "Anyways, let's prepare for tomorrow's work" Fae says as Evalyn nods,

getting out of the water.

"Oh and, your punishments. Do it now so I can report" Fae says, the duo frozen in their steps. "And

here I thought you forgot all about it" Jax and Evalyn whines.

"Inno...cent?" Fae asks. "Yep, now let's go downstairs for dinner" Evalyn says as she drags Fae

Going to the dining room, the maids were putting down the foods on the table. "You're just in time" Zion

says as the duo sits down. "Let's eat" Jax smiles, as they dig in.

"I'm full..." Evalyn says in satisfaction. "Evie... I'll be sleeping in my own room today" Fae says pointing

to her room. "Aww... I wanted us to sleep together... ok, good night then" Evalyn smiles, waving good

night. Fae waves back and goes downstairs to wash her face and have her toothbrush.
