Chapter 37: CHAP 37 : RETIREMENT... OR NOT

"Where to ma'am?" the chauffer asks. "Mellow Cafe, thank you" Fae exclaims, the chauffer nodding.

"Fae... Did you just-" Evalyn stopped. Still agape on what they just did. They're in REAL trouble. Real,

real... trouble.

"Uhm... What are you guys talking about?" Fleur raised her hand. "Pizza" Fae answers. "Yes, she said

we'll eat pizza for lunch and dinner and tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and forever" Evalyn said

in her determined voice.

"Forever???" Fleur said confused. "Exactly" Fae agreed with no hesitation, completely agreeing.

"What?! Pretty sister I'm scared" she shivers.

"There" Fae points out, the duo following her. Sitting down, a waiter comes towards them, handing

them a menu. "Thank you" Evalyn smiles as the waiter smiles and nods, before leaving the trio.

"No fair, I wanted to sit beside Fae" Evalyn pouts. "No" Fleur playfully sticks her tongue out, grabbing

onto Fae's arm. "You brat" she sticks her tongue after her. Looking around, Fae noticed there are few

people today.

"It's pretty few" she states. "Well, it is a busy hour after all" Evalyn answers. The door opening, the trio

saw Jax walking towards their table. "Sorry I'm late" he grins, sitting beside Evalyn.

"Well, if it isn't a cutie. What's your name?" he grins, Evalyn sighing. "Ignore him" she sighs. "I'm Jax

Myrdin" he stretches out his hand. "I'm Fleur Diem" she smiles, shaking hands with him. "She's

nervous around me" he whines at Evalyn.

"Then stop acting so perverted" she scolds. Fae raising a hand, a waitress walked over to their table.

"Two Iced Coffee and two Sticky Toffee Pudding" Fae exclaims. "I'll take the Espresso and One NutellaOwned by NôvelDrama.Org.

cheesecake" Jax orders. "One Caffe Macchiato and one Nutella Cheesecake" Evalyn states.

"Two Iced Coffee, two Sticky Toffee Pudding, one Espresso, one Caffe Macchiato and two Nutella

Cheesecake" the waitress repeated, the four nodding in response. Nodding, she grabbed the menu

and left.

"Can't wait" Evalyn licks her lips. "Kid" Jax teases, Evalyn playfully sticking out her tongue. "So, what

did you call me for?" Jax asks. "About Fleur moving in" Evalyn and Fae answers in sync. "To where?"

he raises an eyebrow.

"Home" the duo answers once more. "Pardon?" he asks. "Exactly as it is sir" Fae exclaims. "Toilet"

Fleur whispers on Fae's ear before standing up to leave the trio. "We can ban ourselves from

mentioning anything about the organizations" she explains, Jax sighing.

"And by any chance, you didn't call me just for that right?" Jax asks in his serious voice. "Bracelet seen

on Liam Ghate's left wrist" Fae said through hand signals. "What? The son too?" Jax asks in a low

voice.

"Yes sir" Evalyn sighs. "And sir, we handed in our resignation letters just a while ago" Fae reports

though her deadpan face, Evalyn covering her ears and shutting her eyes closed. "What?" he was

dumbfounded.

"When did you found out?" he asks, trying to stay calm. "Sir, when I handed in our resignation letters"

she answers, Jax sighing in loss for words. "I'm back" they heard Fleur sit down.

"What's... happening??" she nervously asks, shivering on the icy cold and tense atmosphere revolving

around them. "Danger. Red color" Evalyn whispers, Jax glaring at her. "S-sorry boss" she gulps

nervously, knowing she's just sitting beside him.

Trembling, she wanted to just flip the table around and run for her life. "Sir, madams. Your orders" the

waitress spoke, breaking the tension of danger. Evalyn breathe out a sigh of relief. She gotta thank the

waitress on this one.

"Yum" Fleur licks her lips.

"I'll have master talk about Fleur moving in. And miss Fae, miss Evalyn. Let's have a thorough chat this

evening. Don't forget to enjoy your day" he smiles that wasn't a smile. Turning around to leave, Evalyn

quickly grabbed the duo and ran in great speed.

"That was... so close... I felt like I was gonna be eaten alive" Evalyn shudders. "So... fast.." Fleur

coughed, panting as the they catch their breathes. "Fae... Let's not go back please!!" Evalyn pleads.

"Why?" she asks, tilting her head. "Let's just go back to the hotel please I beg you!!" she sobs. "But sir

Jax said-". "Noo!!! He's so scary I don't wanna go back ever again!!!" she whines, hugging Fae by the

waist, pleading and begging her not to go back.
