The door clicked open almost immediately as soon as Damien rang the doorbell, Sandy’s surprised expression came in view which Damien mistook for something else..

“Damien!.. you came.. Olivia why didn’t you tell us earlier that he’d be coming over?” She questioned the latter who simply gave her a weak shrug..”Ah! silly me.. please come in” She added stepping aside for him..

“I came to see how Kelvin is faring..” He lied blatantly still maintaining his smile..

Olivia moved next to Cassie wiggling her brows teasingly at her..

Cassie nodded timidly with a blush spreading on her cheeks..

“He’s hot!” Olivia added in a low with a squeal escaping her lips, she failed to see the fallen expression of the man standing behind her..

Sandy held Damien’s arm gently “Come on.. let’s get you seated”

He gave her a nod, as he drew nearer to the table, his eyes never left Nathan’s face, surprisingly the latter was looking at him the same way..

Sandy patted the seat directly opposite to Nathan which he willingly sat on with Kelvin who was now seated on his laps..

Nathan’s eyes rounded in surprise, now he got a clearer look of Damien..

“Mr Sterling?”

The latter stretched his hand which Damien stared at like it was a piece of shit, he finally accepted the friendly gesture with a little bit force…

“I’m Nathan Steele”

She accepted his hand which he offered to her for a friendly shake..

“Oh really? my aunt is just too much.. anyway I’d be back in a few minutes.. I had a really tiring day at work and my boss didn’t help matters either.. we have a lot to catch up on”

Damien’s face turned sour, does she even realize that he was still seated here? and what’s up with the big smile on her face? he didn’t even crack a joke..

“Mummy..”

Olivia’s grin widened even more as she faced her baby..

“Oh baby.. I missed you so much.. I’d be back okay?” She planted a kiss on his forehead before heading up to her room..

Alexa was quick to catch the big shirt hurled at her by Hardin, the latter was still upset about the decision his grandmother made..

“Get changed.. my eyes are getting sore just by staring at you” he grumbled under his breath closing his closet with a small bang..

He turned around to find her still standing on the same spot with no intentions to move away..

“Uh.. can you step out for a second? I want to get changed”

He gave a stiff nod before stepping out of the room, she took her time to get familiarized with her new surroundings..

Grandma Jade definitely did her a huge favor by letting her staying here, however it was still way under her taste..

She brought the black shirt closer to her face taking a sniff out of it..

A small smile spread across her face being overwhelmed by the soothing masculine scent emanating from the shirt she was holding..

“Uh.. what are you doing?”

Startled, a small squeal escaped her lips as she turned around to find his head poking into the room a little..

She cleared her throat in embarrassment shaking her head slowly..

“I.. was…. about to go-

“Whatever.. just don’t touch anything in here.. do you get it?”

She nodded her head in understanding and sighed as soon as he was gone, what’s up with him sneaking up on her?

“What if I had stripped off my clothes?” She murmured..

An hour into the movie had Bianca pursing her lips every now and then, she dipped her hand into the large bucket of popcorn grasping a small quantity..

She stuffed it into her mouth trying to hide her nervousness, she took a peek at her side where Xander was seated deeply engrossed in the romance themed movie..

“Are you alright?” he questioned noticing her gaze on him..

“Umm.. yeah, I’m good”

Her phone beeped gently gaining her attention, she took it out of her purse, the lit screen came up at her face which showed a new message..

“Uh.. my mum just texted, it appears we have a guest and they’re waiting for my arrival”

Xander was quick to sit up, he took the bowl of popcorn that she was holding placing it aside on a spare seat next to him..

“That’s totally fine, we can hang out some other day.. I can drop you off at home too..” he offered which she agreed to..

They got out of the theatre heading to the parking lot where Xander’s sport’s car was parked at..
