Mummy, Daddy is on his knees

Xander arched a brow as his cousin brother, Charles, took one of the seats at the dining, he dropped his cutlery harshly against his plate hoping to gain the latter’s attention.

But Charles acted like he didn’t notice the burning gaze by the side of his head, if only looks were bullet.

Tonight’s dinner was made by Xander specifically for him and Bianca since this was their third date, and his butt face cousin had to ruin it by appearing out of nowhere..

“Wow, I see you’ve learnt something from me little bro” Charles murmured taking the second bite out of his fork.

He knew better than to look towards Xander..

“Can you please go upstairs and eat the dinner which you weren’t invited to have?” Xander requested through gritted teeth..

Charles raised his head looking back and forth between Bianca and his fuming cousin, he cut a piece of steak and raised it to his mouth with his fork..

The two waited patiently to receive a response from Charles.

Charles raised the glass of water to his lips and took a sip before he met their faces once more..

“No!” he seconded and continued his meal wholeheartedly..

It took Xander only an inch of patience not to flip the dining table upside down..

“Xander come on have your meal. it’s not like we could finish these all by ourselves, he can join us after all he is your older brother”

Xander turned his head sharply to Bianca when her last words played in his head..

“What? older? we are practically the same age!” He defended in frustration. Why was everyone trying to get on his nerves about this whole age drama..

“But I’m older than you. Why don’t you just accept it?” Charles pointed out.

“With just a day!” Xander answered back almost immediately, he sighed at the end. This was just one of the ways Charles had developed to annoy and frustrate him whenever Bianca was around..

“Well go buy a day at the shopping mall if you can” Charles scorned.

Xander’s chair made a screeching noise on the floor. He rised up to his feet picking his and Bianca’s plates from the dining table, he added some other side dishes they might need and placed them into a tray..

“Let’s go have dinner up in my room. ALONE and where no other third wheel is allowed!. He can eat as much as he wants all by himself”

Bianca was dumbfounded at his request, she voluntarily stood up and followed behind Xander who was already heading to the stairs..

“Just so you know little bro, I already installed a tiny camera in your room. Don’t do anything nasty in there or else-

“Shut up!” Xander barked, they could hear Charles distant laughter resonating in the background as they made their way to Xander’s room..

Bianca closed the door behind her giggling softly, she watched Xander set down the tray on a glass coffee table..

She turned her back to him staring at the wallpaper of a giant red rose with tiny water droplets on its petals.

“I like your cousin, he is cool, funny and-

Her words ran back her throat after she felt her back touching the wall, her eyes widened in shock as she stared at Xander’s somewhat annoyed expression..

“You like him huh? and he is funny?” he questioned impatiently. A frown settled upon his brows which showed his displeasure at the moment..

“Uh.. I didn’t mean I like him romantically, you should understand better”

Xander snaked one of his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him, she collided with his firm chest and slowly looked up to meet his icy blue orbs..

“There shouldn’t be enough space in your heart to like any other man, only i should be in there. I’m a very jealous person and I really don’t like sharing what belongs to me with other men especially you”

Bianca threw a light punch at his chest with a devilish grin on her lips..

“Woah Mr Gray, take it easy right there.. and when did I become your possession?” She teased pushing him backwards with a finger till he fell on the couch..

“I like this version of you” Xander uttered and pulled her by her wrist, she fell on his laps with a small groan..

Bianca leaned forward to him, she pushed all loose strands of his dark hair resting on his forehead..

“Don’t forget that we are only here to eat dinner and nothing else”

Xander’s lips curved up into a mischievous grin, he seconded go her words, they came here to eat dinner and nothing else..

“I guess you are right, but dinner has so many meaning in my personal dictionary” He reached for a piece of grilled steak on the coffee table, he dipped it into the BBQ sauce and smeared it on her lips..

Bianca’s eyes rounded in surprise, she watched him munch on the grilled steak and within a blink of an eye, her back touched the soft couch while he hovered over her..

“I think my dinner is ready to be eaten up by me” he grinned from ear to ear leaving Bianca speechless until, his lips fell at the corner of her lips where he had smeared the sauce…

“You are such a pervert Xander!”

Hardin stared at his ceiling unable to fall asleep, he groaned out in frustration turning to his side, his plight right now was as a result of his actions a while back..

If he had known, he wouldn’t have tried to approach Alexa tonight, he only made matters worse than it was before..

She only resumed work two days ago and she already has a wealthy male friend, maybe he had been right all along. He was definitely out of her league..

He recalled how she had asked him to leave her apartment, and when he refused to budge, she took him by his wrist and led him to the door after which she slammed it right at his face.

“I need to get her off my mind. Mr Sterling would murder me if he gets a whiff that i fell for his sister.. sh*t! what have you done Hardin?!” He scolded himself in the dark room..

His phone made a beep next to him, what popped up next on his screen made him sit up abruptly on his bed..

It was a credit alert from Alexa Sterling, his heart skipped a beat.

Her text message popped up next on the screen which was enough to drive him insane..

‘I promised you that I will pay you back every penny you’ve spent on me. I hope this amount covers everything that I owe you, now we are even. And lastly, don’t try to get involved in my affairs again’

He tossed his phone on the bedside table next to him in anger.

How much more does she want to humiliate him? his mind suddenly picked something up..

“How did she get my bank account details?” he pondered hard staring into space..

Meanwhile…

Clarissa dabbed the tissue she was holding under her eyes wiping her tears, she sniffed and raised her head to look at Alexa who had a blank look on her face..

“Thank you very much Alexa, now I don’t have to bother about my unborn child not getting his father’s love”

Alexa snorted in disdain, her eyes landed for a brief second on Clarissa’s flat tummy which will protrude in the coming months ..

“It’s late and I would love to go get some sleep”

Clarissa nodded her head in understanding, she stood up from the sofa and turned around with a deep smirk carved on her lips.

She closed the door behind her leaving Alexa to her thoughts..

After she had learnt of Clarissa’s pregnancy, she had hoped and prayed silently that the father of her child should be anyone else other than Hardin, but it turned out her fears came true..

Hardin was expecting a child from his girlfriend Clarissa, and he must be so excited when Clarissa eventually breaks the news to him..

Her eyes fell on the pregnancy strip test which Clarissa had brought earlier with her..

She had probably left it there on purpose to mock Alexa with it, and it worked pretty well. Now it was certain, Hardin and Clarissa would eventually end up together and there was no room for her to stay..

“Positive, he is going to be a dad soon. I should be happy for him” She murmured to herself trying to smile but she failed pretty hard..

She stood up from the sofa and left for her room in tears, once she crashed on her bed, the dam in her eyes were bursted open..

“You can fool around with your girlfriend but I’m not allowed to have a single male guest?! how selfish of you!” she sobbed continuously..
