A small frown settled on Bianca’s forehead as she gazed out of the window to the unfamiliar black car parked at the front of their building..

“Uh.. Olivia I think that is Damien’s car” She uttered in uncertainty walking back to the mother and son who were still in their silent treatment stage..

Kelvin had his arm crossed over his chest as his mum brushed his hair and fixed his collar..

The young man was still upset with Olivia for leaving him all to himself for two days straight..

“I don’t think so, he would have called to inform me if he was coming over here”

As soon as she was done with Kelvin, she rose up to her feet tying her loose hair into a messy bun, she sighed at his back moving away from her..

“Can you believe Kelvin? he is so arrogant like his dad. He still doesn’t want to talk to me after all my effort yesterday”

“Okay, how about you go stay with him for two days? then can we call it even? you’ll talk to me after that right?”

Bruce opened his eyes to the morning rays falling on him, he squinted his eyes a bit and slowly till he adjusted to the brightness in the room..

His gaze fell on Tracy who had a arm crossed on her chest, a small frown settled on his forehead at her annoyed looks..

Reality suddenly dawned on him, if she was standing over there, then who was cuddled up so closely to him?

“I think we need to invite a psychiatrist, she has clearly lost her mind.. don’t you see that?” Tracy imputed walking over to the king sized bed..

She grabbed a pillow and smacked it at Rihanna who was still deep in her slumber, Bruce frowned as he moved to Tracy..

He snatched the pillow from her grip before it could strike against Rihanna for the second time..

Rihanna’s hand reach for the empty space beside her unconsciously, the smile originally on her lips disappeared when she felt no one beside her, she suddenly sat up with a loud gasp..

Her parents were left startled at her behavior..

“So we are calling a psychiatrist over right?” Bruce inquired to receive a nod from his wife, from the looks of things, they definitely needed one urgently..

“Yup. Definitely!”

Rihanna was left confused by their silent side talks, she flashed them an awkward smile which they frowned at..

“I’ll just go to my room”

Alexa hurried to her door as soon as a knock fell on it, she opened it and as expected of her, the delivery man appeared before her..

He had a large smile on his lips as he handed the paper bag to her..

“Uh.. thanks”

He gave her a nod and left, she sniffed the air greedily..

“I’m so hungry”

She moved away from the door which was slightly ajar, she settled for her sofa taking out the double cheeseburger she had ordered..

Her tummy made a rumbling noise which was a reminder of her hunger..

Hardin had to ruin her dinner last night with his annoying text, maybe it was time he stopped getting involved in her affairs..

His previous day’s words hit her hard as it surfaced once more in her head, he was doing everything for money? he didn’t look like that type of guy to her..

Why can’t she just be happy for once? everything and everyone seemed to be against her for some reasons..

Maybe Damien was right to have casted her out of the family for a year, that way she got to see who really cared about her and who didn’t give a damn if she was doing well or not..

She took a bite out of her sandwich savouring the taste until her beautiful moment was ruined by a knock on her door..

At the first two knocks, she chose to ignore it, when she heard no other knocks, a sigh of relief left her lips..

Whoever it was must have probably been tired of knocking on her door..

Her back suddenly froze by the sudden masculine scent that reached her nose..

Without looking back she already knew who else was in the apartment other than her..

“You still haven’t learned much from staying here, your door is meant to be locked after stepping in just so no intruders can barge in-

Alexa adjusted on the sofa so she could see his face clearly..

“That’s a great lesson, I would definitely do that to prevent intruders like you from stepping into my apartment anyhow as you please” She retorted in a hostile tone..

The burger suddenly tasted so bland that she packed it up into the wrapper..

Hardin was left speechless, he hadn’t expected this type of response from her at all, his eyes lowered to the food vacuum he was holding..

From the way she had responded to him showed that she heard his conversation with Clarissa and to make things worse, she was mad and it would definitely take a lot of effort to change her opinion about him again..

“I’m sorry about-

“There’s no need to apologize, just tell me what you want and leave as soon as you can”

Hardin inhaled a sharp breath as he moved closer to her, he handed the vacuum to her with a small smile..

“I made breakfast and I didn’t want you to go hungry and-

“Blow up the house? we’ve been through this before Hardin and I’m not ready to hear you say it again.. please leave, I don’t want it, I already had breakfast as you can see” She pointed to the half eaten burger on the table..

“Oh.. I’ll just place it in the kitchen just Incase you feel hungry later on”

Before she could object to his words, he already made his way to the kitchen placing the food vacuum on the kitchen island..

His eyes suddenly fell on the brown paper bag in the thrash can..

Hardin released his grip from the bag allowing it to fall back into the thrash, he picked the other food vacuum from the kitchen island and made his way out of the kitchen..

“I’m sorry for the disturbance. Carry on with your breakfast”
