Sandy flashed Anita an apologetic look, Olivia wasn’t willing to speak to her and Bianca who was able to go in a while ago couldn’t get anything out from her except the hickeys she saw..

“You caused his fall Rihanna! you pushed your brother! Asher is in there because of you! what were you thinking?!”

Asher was currently in the ICU undergoing treatment, she watched her dad pull her mum into a soothing embrace..

He barely spared her a glance and when he did, he pointed to the direction leading to the exit saying only three words to her..

“Get out now!”

She took a step backward and then another before she turned around walking down the long hallways wiping her tears with the back of her palm..

A devilish grin appeared on her lips as she stepped out of the hospital..

Now that Asher was out of her way, no one could stop her from getting the revenge she badly craved..

The door to the room Alexa was currently standing before opened as a middle aged man stepped out..

He pulled her into a deep embrace patting her back softly before taking her in with him, Hardin came out of his hiding place and walked to the door..

What just happened? he didn’t understand what he had just witnessed, was she really into older men?

Alexa pulled off her face cap with tears streaming down her eyes, she embraced Aldrin who had taken his time to meet up with her..

“Dad..” She cried out softly..

Aldrin planted a kiss on her forehead “I missed you a lot.. I missed the way you barge into my room every single time..”

Alexa chuckled in between tears, he still managed to lighten her mood in seconds..

She pulled away from him while he wiped her tears with his thumb, her brows suddenly furrowed confusedly, didn’t Damien warn them not to meet up with her until her one year punishment was off?

“How were you able to come meet me? Damien gave an order right?”

Aldrin gave a nod “Yes he did, but I’m his father after all he certainly won’t be mad at me for long, I was able to meet up with you because he’s currently in an emotional distress”

“What do you mean by emotional distress?”

Aldrin guided her to the bed where they took a seat, he took her palm in his large ones squeezing it softly..

“He had an argument with Olivia and now things has turned sour between them”

Alexa wasn’t so surprised at the news, it was bound to happen, Olivia and Damien were never meant to be together in the first place..

She had tried to prove that point earlier only to end up living a life of a commoner..

“What were you all expecting? a happily ever after between them? that can’t happen-

“Rihanna listen, I called you here for a reason, keep your hate aside for now and try to get into your brother’s good books again, Trust me, Damien loves you a lot”

He paused for a while to see if she was following..

“And he’s just trying to correct you.. the least you could do for him is to help him now and also distance yourself from Rihanna”

For things to run smoothly in the family once more, he needed to be sure Alexa wasn’t plotting against Olivia again.

“Are you asking me to be friends with Olivia? dad you know how much her name irks me! she’s so annoying and full of herself!”

He stood up to his feet while she followed suite..

The time he had to speak with her was up, he took out a brown envelope and placed it on her palm..

Two days passed and nothing changed much, Olivia refused to take Damien’s calls or texts and she had blatantly refused to speak anyone about what really happened..

At the other hand, Damien hadn’t left his room because he hadn’t been sober in the last two days..

No matter how hard their parents tried to talk them out of their stubbornness, they still chose to do otherwise..

But today was about to be different because a totally different person was at the door this time other than Sandy..

Bianca arched a brow, it’s been quite a while since she had seen or heard from this lady staring at her in disgust..

“The least you could do is to step aside for me to come in.. I’m your landlady remember?”

Alexa snorted and walked past Bianca heading into the apartment..

Her sharp eyes scanned the mini living room until it settled on the amber eyed lady she was here to see, she shook her head in disdain..

The latter still had an appetite for braised pork while her brother was drowning himself in alcohol..

Feeling an intense gaze on her head, Olivia turned to see the lady glaring at her..

Not only was she surprised to see Alexa in her home but she was also confused on what could warrant such a visit from a person who saw her as a hindrance in her older brother’s life..

She moved back from her seat and stood beside Bianca who was also patiently waiting for whatever Alexa had to say..

“That doesn’t answer my question.. or are you probably here to warn me to leave your brother for your bestie again?”

“This time I’m not here to warn you about that.. I don’t care to know what made you and Damien go off.. all I want to let you know is that, if you don’t make things up with him soon he’d burn out his liver by drinking nonstop, he hasn’t been sober for two days straight.” she Inhaled a sharp breath “I hope you know what that means?”

“And how is this my fault?” Olivia questioned tilting her neck to the side..

Alexa released a snotty chuckle “Damien casted his five year long relationship aside in a matter of a second just because of you.. he called off his engagement because of you, he made Rihanna a cleaner all because of you!…

“I’m currently staying away from my family still because of you! he has always been fighting for you! and he’s currently going through a lot and that’s still because of you! and you dare ask how any of these is your fault?!” She barked impatiently..

Olivia was at loss for words, she felt her heart beating faster than normal..

“Don’t you see that everything he has been doing all these time was all for you.. this is the first time I’ve witnessed my brother so wasted.. he could barely keep his eyes open and this all because you chose to let your ego take over your sense of reasoning!”
