Mummy, Daddy is on his knees

Footsteps approaching the room was enough to pique Tracy and Bruce’s attention, they turned to the direction to see Rihanna hurrying in looking pissed off about something…

“You’re back, where were you?” Tracy inquired rising up to her feet, her worrisome gaze searched through her daughter looking for any single thing that could give the latter away..

As arrogant as Rihanna was, she walked past the duo who were expecting questions from her only to be blocked by Asher who just popped out of nowhere..

“I guess you were asked a question” He imputed taking steps forward to her while she backed away from him..

And just like that, he was able to get her to their midst effortlessly..

She corked a brow at their outrageous behavior, she was no longer a kid for them to question about her whereabouts..

“What do you all mean by this? don’t I have freedom to move as I please?”

“You and I know very well that your movement has infact been restricted by Damien until further notice, and to top it all, the sum of $5 million was taken out of your account… care to explain what you used it for?” Bruce demanded..

Rihanna licked her bottom lips thinking of a possible explanation and all she could think of was…

“I helped an old friend in need.. does that answer your questions?!”

Asher stroked his chin trying to figure out if she was telling the truth or not, he had overheard her conversation two nights ago about some plans she was making..

“I hope that is the case.. don’t be a fool for the second time, if you’re plotting against anyone, you better drop it this minute… otherwise you’d be sorry for yourself when it backfires all over again like the last time”

Rolling her eyes to Asher’s words, she walked out of their midst heading up to her room..

As soon as she got in, she flinged her purse across the room settling on her vanity stool in anger..

“I’ll make them all pay!”

Her palm slammed against the surface of the vanity table which shook slightly due to the impact..

Damien took to his heels after he noticed Olivia’s movement, he dodged her every attempt to get a hold of him..

Kiara and Kelvin’s cheering grew louder as the two adults ran around the living room..

“Daddy run faster!!! mummy is about to get you”

Olivia slowed down placing both hands on her knee, she stopped to catch her breath as he was nearly impossible to get a hold of at this point, suddenly she clutched her chest in pain…

“Ah!”

Her scream was able to make Damien stop on his tracks, he turned around to see her wincing in pain..

“Olivia!”

He ran up to her only to be pushed down to the couch by her, a mischievous smirk graced her lips as she gazed down at his shocked expression..

“Come on! that’s not fair! you tricked me..”

“And you did worse.. I stood on one spot for hours only for you to show me a sketch of an apple.. choose one of my fists that would be meeting your face”

Damien reached out to her arm and pulled her to sit next to him on the couch..

“Are you mad that I sketched an apple or you’re just disappointed that you weren’t included in my drawing?”

Kelvin placed a palm over kiara’s face to stop her from seeing anything that might happen between the two..

“Don’t look”

Damien held out the sketchbook and flipped the page open where a neat drawing of a lady was drawn at the other side…

“So? how does it look?” He asked teasingly..

Olivia’s face was lifted up in seconds, he did draw her but was only messing around with her..

Alexa sighed in relief after she heard Hardin’s footstep fading away, she waited for a few more minutes before stepping out of her room to the kitchen..

After what happened between them, she couldn’t bear to look him straight in the face which made her skip breakfast..

Relieved to know that he was kind enough to make something for her, or maybe it was for his grandma? but she didn’t care anyways, her tummy needed to be filled up, she took a spoon out of the soup and suddenly heard a voice behind her…

“I thought you were going to spend the whole day locked up in your room”

Series of cough followed her shocked expression, she thought he had left, how come he was still here?..

Alexa turned slowly to him still in shock, her face reddened.. the kitchen suddenly felt too hot for her to stay in..

She avoided his gaze and made her way to the door hoping to escape him, but she was effortlessly pulled back by him, he trapped her between the kitchen island and himself making it impossible for her to escape the cage he had created…

“W-hat are you doing?” she stuttered looking everywhere but his face..

He placed a finger under her chin raising it up to his face..

“Are you avoiding me?”

She shook her head vigorously trying to laugh his question off even though that was the real truth…

“No.. I was just-

“Forget about it.. don’t think of it too much because it’s been erased off my mind.. and so should you” He whispered peering intently into her eyes which was still filled with shock..

His gaze fell on her bottom lips which bit on, it took a very big amount of self control to stop himself from sealing it with his again..

She must have casted a spell on him to be able to make him lose focus ever since he stepped into her apartment that day..

He had seen her a few number of times on TV whenever she hosts or was invited to a party and the day his grandma told him about the wealthy heiress staying on their block, he couldn’t stop himself from coming all the way to her apartment…

He knew he was way out of her league, she always had a good amount of rich young men flocking around her but she spared none a glance, he was sure he doesn’t even stand a chance..

With that thought in mind, he took a step back and away from her..

“I’m sorry, It was a mistake” his voice came out barely as a whisper before he left through the door..

Damien only gave him a task to set his younger sister straight, not mess around with her or try to get closer to her..

As soon as he was gone, she heaved a deep sigh of relief..

“Arrghhh!!” She screamed tugging at her hair..
