Chapter 35 Eden Is His Brother?

Of course, the Lawson Family was the most prestigious one in this city. There were so many girls of the

nobility dreaming to be the daughter-in-law of Wilson. So Verena was really curious about the reason

why he chose her.

"Because you are kind-hearted, brave, tough and clever. Besides, you look much alike her…"

Verena showed no interest in his compliments. However, when she heard the last sentence, she

Verena went back to her own room when she got out of the study. She stood in front of the window and

staring at the snows falling from the sky.

It was the first snow of the year and it was much earlier than usual. Though the white snows looked

you haven't arrived at the shooting site. I thought you might be sick. So I call you."

Only then did she realize that there was still someone caring about her. Tears welled up in her eyes.

She said gratefully, "I didn't get sick. I will be there soon. Thank you for your concern."

"Don't be so formal. We are friends, aren't we?" his voice sounded soft still.

After hanging up the phone, Verena patted her own face to cheer up. She tried to remind herself that

she shouldn't dream of someone who never belonged to her.

When Verena arrived at the shooting site, the star still didn't arrive. She sighed a breath of relief and

Eden looked at her and repeated gently again, "Cole Lawson. What's the matter?"

"No! I am fine." She smiled perfunctorily to reply, "Well, the one named Cole Lawson you just

mentioned is a superstar?"

"You don't know about him?" Eden smiled.

Verena also smiled awkwardly, "Well, I seldom browse any news about entertainment, so…"

"He won the Oscar of the BEST ACTOR this year. Besides, he also got awarded as the BEST ACTOR

of the Golden Horse Award in Taiwan. Also, he got another the BEST ACTOR of the Blue Dragan Film

Award this year in Korea!"

When hearing that, she touched her nose, "Oh, he is so outstanding! You really know much about him!"

"Well, actually, I was forced to know about him." He smiled, looking meaningful.

But Verena didn't notice that. She deemed that he knew about Cole just because of his own career as

a photographer. But she was a bit nervous when knowing that she would see Cole later.

While hesitating, a crew member walked over, "Cole's car has arrived."

Eden nodded and said to Verena, "Come on, let's go!"

Verena bit her lips and looked at his back. She gritted and followed over.

A black Rolls-Royce stopped and then the door was opened. Cole, who was wearing a white shirt and

a black suit jacket, got off the car.

All female crew members couldn't help screaming when seeing him. Cole smiled charmingly while

greeting them.

All women on the spot fixed their eyes on his deadly appealing eyes and kept shouting, "Cole! Cole!"

Verena stood beside Eden and looked at those crazy ladies. She couldn't help frowning, 'Why are you

being so infatuated with such a playboy?'

At this moment, a uniformed chauffeur with white gloves walked to the right side of the limousine and

opened the door. Obviously, there was another big shot sitting in. When seeing his move, all the other

crew members including Verena looked at the limousine surprisedly.

Then Lemuel, who was wearing a silver suit with black overcoat, stepped out of the limousine. When

his tall and slender figure appeared in the middle of the flying snow, everyone was amazed and

couldn't help exclaiming when seeing his cold-looking but perfect and noble face. All of them fixed their

eyes on him.

However, Verena's face suddenly went deadly pale.

The chauffeur walked over to open up a transparent umbrella for Lemuel to keep him out of the snow.

When noticing that everyone present was totally attracted by him, Cole couldn't help exclaiming,

"Lemuel, how charming and powerful you are! You even overtake a superstar like me!"

"Stop the crap. Where is Eden?" Lemuel said.

Cole looked around and then pointed, "Over there! Hey, wait a second, the woman stands beside him

should be the evil stepmom, right? Why is she here?"

Hearing that, Lemuel stared at her with his chilly eyes. He looked so horribly cold that his gaze seemed

to be able to freeze her on spot. A trace of disdain appeared in his eyes.

When seeing them, Eden smiled. Then he walked over to hug Cole, who was walking towards him as

well, "Brother, I miss you so much!"

Eden patted his back softly and then got himself out of the hug. When seeing Lemuel walk over, he

greeted gently, "Brother, it has been a long time!"

Brother? When hearing that, Verena was startled! She couldn't help gasping and her face turned pale

again because of shock.
